A Memorable Trip
Although it was just a one-night, two-day stay, I was able to relax and unwind. The staff’s attentiveness was outstanding. Even though it was very crowded, they never cut corners and worked hard in the heat—I truly appreciate it. In two days, I enjoyed the Onsen at the Hotel New Awaji Group six times. Every Onsen was wonderful, but this one was especially great. I could enjoy different views in the daytime, at night, and early in the morning. It felt fantastical—like an Onsen under the sea. The meals were all about conger eel dishes. I don’t usually eat it much, but I was amazed at how delicious it was. Everything was excellent. Of course, the staff’s thoughtfulness and smiles were also wonderful. I will definitely come again—thank you in advance for your hospitality when I do.

I love saunas.
I stopped by on my way back after taking my daughter to Kansai International Airport. When I was shown to my Room, it wasn’t cooled at all, so I didn’t feel like sitting down for a while. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, so I didn’t use it and went to the large public bath instead. It was very nice with several different baths, but the sauna could have been cleaned a bit better; the water was lukewarm and not continuously flowing, so I noticed some debris. The meals were very good with lots of thoughtful touches. For dinner, I was advised to go at a less crowded time and did so, but there were still long gaps and I had to wait again. Since it was summer vacation, I suppose it couldn’t be helped—next time I’d like to visit on a weekday.

For two people (my mother and me)
This was our second stay at Yumesenkei. My mother said she wanted to eat conger eel, so we chose the course meal. The food, service, and cleanliness of the Room were all excellent—just as before—and we were very satisfied again. There seemed to be many more international staff than last time, but everyone worked hard with a smile. We would love to stay again.

I ordered a conger eel hot pot.
There were too many appetizers, so by the time it was time for the main conger eel hot pot, I was already too full, which was disappointing.

Thank you very much!
My companion suddenly couldn’t make it, so I ended up staying alone, but I truly appreciate how quickly you handled the changes. The Room was clean, and the in-room open-air bath was wonderful—I could enjoy it while looking out at the ocean. I would like to stay again.

It was very good.
The Hotel’s hospitality, the views—everything was wonderful! It made for a truly enjoyable trip.

Disappointing service.
We stayed on a weekday during the Golden Week period. The Room and bath were wonderful, and we were very satisfied. All the more so, it was very disappointing that the poor quality of service from the staff member who assisted us stood out. Their language and responses to our questions showed a lack of experience, and it didn’t feel like they were ready to serve guests yet... Was it due to being short-staffed during the busy Golden Week season? In the end, my spouse and I even looked at each other and laughed. There were also foreign staff members, and they were much more impressive in terms of effort and smiles.

A Ryokan I Never Want to Visit Again
We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath on the 6th floor of Hotel Yumisenkei. The toilet and washbasin area had been renovated, but the interior felt old, and the lighting was dim, making the Room feel gloomy. The Hotel advertises having three large public baths, but many guests from Hotel New Awaji also use them, and it did not feel luxurious at all. We followed the Hotel’s instructions for Wi-Fi, but it barely connected. We brought an iPad, but we could not use it. The meals lacked creativity and were fairly ordinary. In particular, breakfast included many items that seemed to have been prepared in advance, and it was not tasty. We paid just under 120,000 yen for two people, but it did not have the luxury we expected, so we left disappointed. We do not want to use it again.

The Onsen was great, but there were many things that concerned me.
The Onsen was spacious and nice, but it was fully visible from the sea and the breakwater outside. Women should be cautious when using it. Throughout the Hotel, there were signs saying, “Beyond this point, only authorized persons may use this area,” which did not feel very welcoming. It cost just over 30,000 yen per person with dinner and breakfast included, but I did not feel it offered good value for money.

Delicious meals
I stayed at this Accommodation mainly looking forward to the meals. To enjoy a relaxed dining experience, I chose an option that was not buffet-style. I also ordered sake and enjoyed it at a leisurely pace. The dining area was appropriately partitioned, so the three of us could dine calmly and comfortably.

This was our first trip with our 7-month-old baby. We really appreciated the thoughtful support and the baby items provided (baby bath, baby soap, diaper trash bin, and baby chair). The open-air bath in our Room was an Onsen, and the sunrise view was beautiful—absolutely wonderful!! The meals were especially delicious, particularly the seafood, and since we could dine in our Room, we were able to relax and enjoy it even while our baby was crawling around. We would love to stay again!

The bath was great.
We visited as four generations of women in our family. The Room had a bath, so it was great to relax and enjoy it privately as a family. The view from the bath was also wonderful, with the ocean stretching out before us, and we were very satisfied. However, the conditioner bottle contained shampoo, and my daughter was confused because it kept lathering. They quickly brought a new one to our Room, which was very helpful. As for the meals, perhaps they were short-staffed? Dinner took two and a half hours, with a lot of waiting time. The food itself was average.

I have stayed here several times, but this time the men’s open-air bath was closed for maintenance, so I couldn’t use it. Also, in the past you kindly accepted same-day requests for additional dishes, but this time that wasn’t possible either. I was very disappointed.

This time, we stayed at Satiraku at Hotel New Awaji Yumesenkei. We often stay at Villa Rakuen because we love it, but aside from the Room size and luxury, this was great because it was closer to the large public bath. Dinner was also very delicious. Next time, I’d like to stay at Amahara.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing…
It was my first stay in a while. Both the Room and the bath were spacious and comfortable—an always-reliable place to relax. Dinner at the restaurant was very satisfying across the board. However, breakfast the next morning… The warm rolled omelet and soy milk hot pot were decent, but the dried fish was dry, the shiso leaf placed under the squid somen was limp, and the kiriboshi daikon may have been soaked too long, as it was overly soft. The gap compared with dinner was so large that I was surprised. I hope you can make a few more improvements.

Unpleasant Experience During Breakfast
This was my second stay. During my first stay, three staff members were chatting during breakfast and did not come even when called. This time as well, there were no staff around, so I had to get up and go call someone. The guest next to me was also calling for staff loudly. I would like you to take measures such as placing a call bell at each table. The dinner staff are excellent, but breakfast is unpleasant every time.

A welcoming Accommodation with exceptional hospitality
We stayed here on our last trip together. From the warm welcome to the Room, the Facility, and every amenity, this Accommodation offered truly outstanding hospitality. It wasn’t crowded, so we could relax in the Onsen, and we were very satisfied with the full fugu meal. If I had to mention one thing, I would have preferred an appetizer and then tecchiri hot pot as shabu-shabu. Other than that, we were completely satisfied. To N., who took care of us—please keep up the great work. We’re cheering you on! Thank you very much.

Awesome!
I stayed here several times over 10 years ago, and this time I returned for the first time in a while. The large public bath—especially the open-air bath—is simply amazing! It’s beyond words. Once you’ve enjoyed the view from that open-air bath, you’ll want to come back again soon. I’d love to recommend it to my parents, relatives, and friends as well! Thank you to all the staff for an incredible two days!

Enjoy 3-Year-Aged Tiger Pufferfish
We booked the 3-year tiger pufferfish course. My husband liked the sashimi best, and I thought the grilled pufferfish was the most delicious. A staff member prepared the hot pot for us, but perhaps they were new—they added all the ingredients at once. We noticed that a staff member at the next table left half of the pufferfish and also held back items like noodles and leafy vegetables, adding them after it was ready, which seemed more appropriate. When making the rice porridge, they added the egg even though it wasn’t boiling over low heat, so we turned it up to high right after they left. It would have been nice if tea had been served with the porridge. The Room and Onsen were great, though...

Relaxing Accommodation in Awaji Island
The accommodation is spacious and relaxing. The room we were guided to was also large, clean, and comfortable. The view from the open-air bath was stunning. The large public bath had ample space, allowing for a relaxing bathing experience. On the following day, we were fortunate to enjoy good weather and witnessed the sunrise from the open-air bath in the large public bath, which was truly moving as such opportunities are rare for me. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptionally delicious. The dishes were carefully prepared using fresh local ingredients, offering a satisfying taste. I chose a Western-style breakfast; everything was fresh and tasty as well. The staff members were kind and attentive, making us feel at ease throughout our stay. Overall, it turned out to be a very fulfilling accommodation experience.

Thank you for your support this year.
Every winter, I stay at the Yumekai Comfort Floor to enjoy the three-year Torafugu. I remain satisfied with the room, service, and Onsen as always. However, regarding meals, while I understand that price increases are inevitable due to rising costs, both quality and quantity have been declining year by year, reducing cost performance. Additionally, the semi-circular tables in the newly established dining area "Naruto" seem designed to offer a view of the scenery but feel inconvenient for both guests and staff. In terms of amenities, services, and facilities—having stayed at various hotels across Japan in recent years—I would like to suggest three points for consideration for a hotel of Yumekai's level: 1. Please provide samue (loungewear) in addition to yukata. 2. Please set up a welcome drink bar in the lobby. 3. Please provide baskets for carrying items when going to the large public bath (Onsen).

A wonderful Hotel filled with smiles
As a caregiver by profession, the first thing that caught my eye at the entrance was the sofa wheelchair. I heard it was custom-made from scratch (which makes sense), and when I asked if existing wheelchairs could be customized similarly, they even showed me the inside of the sofa. Although I rarely use a wheelchair, it was spotless down to every corner, which reflected how cleanly they maintain not only their rooms but also areas like busy bathrooms during peak times. Their management skills are truly impressive. For meals, we enjoyed the 3-year-aged pufferfish course. The initial pufferfish fin sake and my son's pufferfish soup were both incredibly delicious—so much so that I’ll likely have trouble deciding between them on our next visit! The final porridge with rich collagen from pufferfish skin blended perfectly into it and played an excellent role in enhancing its flavor! Above all else, every staff member greeted us with warm smiles and worked with confidence and pride to ensure every guest's satisfaction. Their dedication healed my daily fatigue and gave me renewed energy! I am thoroughly satisfied and deeply grateful to all the staff members for their exceptional service!

It was my first stay in 6 years.
Before the pandemic, we had stayed at almost all the accommodations in the New Awaji Group during our three-generation family trips. (Now that there are more facilities in places like Shiga and Kyoto, it's hard to visit them all.) We love this group so much, and among them, Yumesenkei is our favorite. We've stayed here many times. This time, it was just four of us as my father passed away. The room felt a bit more spacious with one less person, which made it a little lonely. However, the meals were still delicious as always, and all the staff were incredibly kind and greeted us warmly whenever we crossed paths—this left a very positive impression on us. Compared to before (perhaps because it was during New Year's when it was crowded), there seemed to be an increase in international guests. Unfortunately, some did not use the public bath properly or keep it clean—that part was disappointing. What we appreciated most was being able to enjoy meals leisurely in our room. It seems that high-class rooms will be added in an annex building in a few years' time. We look forward to visiting again with our family when that happens! Thank you for your hospitality!

Returning guest
I have been using the New Awaji Group for a long time, but it has been a while since I stayed at Yumesenkei. Unfortunately, the meals this time were disappointing. In the past, there was an abundance of delicious food that we couldn't finish, but this time the meat was tough, portions were smaller, and overall it lacked luxury. I have always enjoyed their excellent Onsen and meals, but perhaps times are changing. This trip left a slightly lingering sense of disappointment.

Relax and unwind as a couple.
This time, we planned a relaxing trip as a couple to enjoy 3-year Torafugu. The price was very reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was Japanese-style, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. At the Onsen, both our body and mind were warmed, making it a truly relaxing trip. We would love to visit again!

Wonderful Hotel
From the moment we entered the premises to the farewell, the hospitality was warm and attentive. The Room's facilities were impeccable. For dinner, the chef prepared fresh sashimi from sea bream and spiny lobster in our Room, sharing delightful stories that reflected his friendly personality. The staff who attended to us in our Room also provided thoughtful care, leaving us with wonderful memories.

A Trip to Celebrate Turning 60 with Childhood Friends
To celebrate my 60th birthday, I searched for "3 people, Onsen, breakfast and dinner included" with my childhood friends for a nearby trip. We found a room with triple beds and had a wonderful stay. The open-air bath was close to the seaside, and the dinner, including meat dishes, was delicious. For our 60th birthday celebration, we requested red celebratory vests to be provided. Thanks to the hotel's thoughtful service, we were able to prepare leisurely in our room and even had staff come to take photos for us. We truly felt the warm hospitality of the staff in every detail. It became a cherished memory filled with kindness. Thank you very much!

Special Floor "Riraku"
We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The room was ocean-view, spacious, and had a comfortable sofa, which we were very satisfied with. However, the dinner at Kamado Dining Bar Awaji, which we were looking forward to, was quite disappointing. The service felt like being at a family restaurant. Unfortunately, even the simmered dish tasted like home cooking. On the other hand, breakfast was very delicious and satisfying.
