Disappointing meals for an Onsen Ryokan...

The Room size and view, as well as the spacious free-flowing hot spring bath, were great in terms of the Facility, but it was disappointing that both dinner and breakfast were underwhelming. Breakfast in particular was unsatisfying—the rice served in the wooden tub looked and felt like it had been reheated, and the side dishes tasted like simple home-style seasoning without much dashi flavor. The Room was spacious, clean, and convenient to use, but since it was a Japanese-style room, the bedding felt like just a single thin mattress pad, so it wasn’t very comfortable to sleep on. Both the in-room bath and the large public bath (which did not seem to be free-flowing) were good.
