    A property surrounded by the nature of Nasu

    It was my first visit in about 20 years. As soon as I arrived, the staff rushed to greet me. I thought it might have become quite old, but it had been renovated and didn't feel old at all. This time, I stayed in the 3rd-floor corner room maisonette "Genpei." The 3rd floor has the living room and bedroom, and the 2nd floor has the bath and washroom. There are about 16 steps on the stairs, so it might be tough for older people. Since there is no water station on the 3rd floor, it was inconvenient to have to go down the stairs every time I needed to use the faucet. The water and apple juice in the refrigerator are free. Since it's a high-class property, I wished there were complimentary canned beer or a coffee machine. Both the bath and bedroom have two-sided lighting, making them bright and spacious. The view outside the window is the natural forest of Nasu, which was soothing. I had the bath temperature adjusted to be lukewarm and took a leisurely soak. There were only yukatas, so I thought it would be nice to have samue available. There is also a large public bath, but I didn't use it much because the temperature was hot and there was no view. Meals were served in a private room at the dining area. The seasoning and menu were light and suitable for adults. The portion size was just right for us, and the speed of service was quick, which was appreciated. However, there was no BGM playing in the dining area, so it was quiet, and voices echoed, which was a bit concerning. I think it would be nice to have some music, even at a low volume. The Diamond Member benefit was sake, but it was changed to apple juice for us. Overall, I was satisfied with the staff's demeanor, but it would be even better if the lounge had a more extensive selection of complimentary drinks.

    This was my first ti...

    This was my first time staying here, as I usually stay at a long-established inn nearby. The food was very delicious, the quality of the hot spring water was excellent, and the overall ambiance of the inn was of high quality, making for a satisfying stay. I would love to visit again.
