    You’ve found your favorite Accommodation.

    At this Hotel, I truly felt the staff’s spirit of hospitality. A courteous pre-stay confirmation call heightened my excitement, my luggage was delivered to my Room during check-in, and the housekeeping staff greeted me not only with “Good morning,” but also with “Did you have a relaxing stay? Thank you very much.” Despite staying on the first day of a three-day holiday weekend, the large public bath was almost private—2 out of 3 visits—and perhaps because it has a villa-like atmosphere, the property was very quiet, allowing me to relax at ease. I’ve finally found a favorite Accommodation near Ise Jingu Shrine—an area where I had struggled to find an Accommodation that truly satisfied me.

    It’s clean, but…

    My first impression upon arrival: a clean Hotel and staff who welcomed us with a natural smile and left a great impression. Because my expectations were too high, the dinner afterward felt disappointing. The menu itself was probably fine, but I was shocked at how small the table was. We had breakfast at the same table as well. I understand it may have been unavoidable since it was a weekend and there were many guests, but it was very disappointing. The view from the Room was wonderful and we were able to relax, so I feel my impression might have been different if we had stayed on a weekday.

    The Room had been renovated and was spacious and clean, but there was long hair tangled in the shower head of the unit bath, and hair stuck to the back of the curtain as well, so I think housekeeping should be more careful. The large public bath was also, just as mentioned in a Review, far too small for the size of the Hotel; it was so crowded that we gave up and went back to our Room. The food was delicious. The portions were a little small, which may be good for women. We ordered alcohol, but when my husband signed the bill slip, it seemed like the amount was different; when we checked again, it turned out to be higher than it should have been, and the staff noticed and corrected it. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a mistake, and it made me feel uneasy, so I would like charges to be accurate. It’s normal to sign based on trust. There were also many good points—such as the view from our Room, the terrace, stylish decor, and delicious Japanese cuisine—so overall we were satisfied.

    We visited again as ...

    We visited again as a couple for the first time in a while. The name had changed since our last stay, but the view was still wonderful. The Room was spacious, new, and very comfortable. However, it was extremely dry at night and that was difficult (we used the humidifier, but we may not have been using the air conditioning properly). We were also able to enjoy our meals quietly and at a relaxed pace, which was great. The bath is small, but having towels prepared in the changing area is a big plus for me.

    The Room was renovated and clean, which was nice, but the building’s age is hard to overlook. I noticed several areas that seemed insufficiently cleaned or otherwise concerning. On arrival, staff carried my suitcase for me, but on departure there is no elevator, so I had to carry it myself... When I went out for dinner in the evening, I asked the front desk to call a taxi, but they refused because it was busy, so I had no choice but to take my own car out of the parking lot. Although it has the appearance of a Resort Hotel, it felt lacking in substance and left me feeling a bit disappointed.

    A Very Satisfying Girls’ Trip

    We stayed here for a birthday trip to Ise-Shima. Above all, the resort-like exterior was wonderful, the Room was very spacious, and we were completely satisfied with the meals! The breakfast was especially delicious—I even had seconds of the bread! It was such a happy stay that we’d love to stay again when we visit Ise-Shima. Thank you very much!

    A Southern European-style Hotel overlooking Ago Bay

    At dinner, I ordered a beer and grapefruit juice, but they were served in ordinary glasses like the kind used at home. The empty glasses that had been set out were very nice, so I think the drinks that are ordered should be served in glasses of the same quality. At breakfast, coffee was brought during the meal, but since there were still four other drinks left, it had gone cold by the time I was ready to drink it. I think it would be better to bring it after the meal. Other than that, the view, the building, and the food were all excellent. The breakfast croissant was especially large and very delicious. Next time, I’d like to try Japanese cuisine.

    A Hotel where you can relax and unwind with your beloved dog!

    The meals were better than I expected. It was wonderful to enjoy a relaxing meal at the restaurant overlooking Ago Bay. I travel to the Ise-Shima area about once a year, so I’d love to stay at Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace again. The room was clean, and the amenities and drinks such as tea were more than sufficient.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    My spouse and I stayed here with our two daughters (one working adult and one university student), four of us in total. We chose a Room with tatami at our request, and it was absolutely the right choice! The Room was spacious, and the large public bath was very relaxing. It was quite busy, so it felt a little crowded at times, though... We also chose the Western-style breakfast, and first of all, the presentation was beautiful! Everything—including some unique juices—was delicious. We’ve been saying as a family that we’d love to stay again when we visit Shima. Thank you very much.

    An Extraordinary Escape

    Enjoying a delicious breakfast with a stunning view made for a truly luxurious time. I was especially happy that the Japanese breakfast let me sample so many specialties from Mie Prefecture all at once. The resort-style design made it feel like an overseas trip, yet there were water dispensers and various vending machines, so I could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. I would definitely love to visit again.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    My wife and I stayed at this Hotel during our trip to Ise-Shima. The Shuttle Service bus from Kashikojima Station, the Room interior and view, the in-room amenities and complimentary bottle of wine, dinner (Japanese cuisine), and breakfast (Western-style) were all excellent. The weather was great, and the scenery around the Hotel was very beautiful. Many of the guests were quiet and refined. We would like to stay again next time.

    It was a wonderful trip.

    This was our first girls’ trip in a long time. The Hotel had a calm, lovely atmosphere. The clean Room, reminiscent of the sea and blue sky, was very relaxing.\n\nFor dinner, we chose Japanese cuisine. Each dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious, and the tableware was beautifully selected as well.\n\nFor breakfast, we chose Western cuisine. There was a wide variety of vibrant drinks and fragrant breads. Breakfast while looking out over Ago Bay was the best!\n\nWe also really appreciated the thoughtful care from all the staff. We would love to stay again. Our first girls’ trip in 30 years became a wonderful memory.\n\nThis time we visited in winter, but next time we definitely want to come in summer.

    Relax and unwind in a resort-like atmosphere.

    Our family of four stayed for one night. We used a Japanese-Western style Room, and it was spacious, so we could relax in the tatami area. We could see a partial ocean view from the Room. Child Sharing Existing Bedding was sufficient for our children, so we only used the two beds and used the tatami area for relaxing. The breakfast bread was delicious, and everyone had seconds. The bath was not an Onsen, so I gave it 4 stars, but it seemed comfortable. We would like to come again during summer vacation.

    It was a wonderful Hotel where you could experience a foreign atmosphere.

    The Room was spacious, and the resort-like building and interior let us enjoy an exotic atmosphere. The windows were large, so we had a beautiful view of the bay in front of us along with the sunset, which was wonderful. What impressed me most was having breakfast via room service on the balcony—it felt so refreshing, and we were able to spend an elegant time while fully enjoying the scenery. The bathroom felt a bit dated, but it was nice that the shower head had been upgraded to a ReFa model. When visiting Ise again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    A Hotel You’ll Want to Visit Again

    I was able to fully enjoy time away from everyday life in the quiet—though my daily life isn’t that busy to begin with. The calm sea, seabirds gliding on the water, fishing boats returning and leaving gentle ripples on the still surface, and the sun slowly setting behind the mountains—watching it all while sipping coffee was truly exceptional! Dinner was Japanese cuisine, and the waiter—with a distinctive pompadour hairstyle—explained each dish carefully and thoughtfully. It felt like I could sense the care of those who prepared it. There was no spiny lobster or Matsusaka beef, but everything was delicious, centered on locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast was also enjoyable; with the pool’s blue shining brightly, the portion size was just right and very tasty. When choosing a Hotel, I compared this place with Bay Suite and Classic, and I’m glad I chose this one. It’s a Hotel I’d love to visit again.

    The Best Breakfast

    Our family of four stayed on 1/1. The room was spacious and comfortable even for four people. Next time, we would like to stay in the villa. The breakfast had an amazing view, and the food quality was better than any Hotel we've experienced before—both taste and quality were exceptional. The croissants were also very delicious. We definitely want to stay again to enjoy that breakfast. Next time, we plan to make a Reservation for dinner as well. The seafood curry at the café during lunch was also excellent in taste. The view from the Hotel garden was stunning, allowing us to welcome a wonderful New Year’s Day. Thank you very much!

    A hotel that feels like being abroad

    The view from the property and the Room creates an atmosphere as if you were abroad. Although we stayed in a garden-view Room and could only see a little of the ocean, the garden was beautiful and offered a lovely view. The Diamond Member benefit of a face mask was also luxurious from Mikimoto, which delighted my wife. The cuisine used high-quality ingredients and was delicious, but it would have been even better with more of a French-inspired flavor—though I understand the concept is "Water French."

    Wonderful Hotel, it was excellent.

    We stayed in a Western-style room during our family trip. The hotel lobby was very beautiful, and the room's interior design was stunning, leaving us deeply impressed. Dinner was a French course meal. At first, we thought it might not be enough, but after having extra bread, we were completely full. The dessert at the end was incredibly delicious. For breakfast, we had a hard time deciding between Japanese or Western options. Although the photos of the Western breakfast seemed a bit light, in reality, it offered an elegant and satisfying menu with plenty of juice and various types of bread to choose from. Bread and salad were available for unlimited refills as well. The view from the window was also lovely and very relaxing. Having stayed at many accommodations before, this one ranks among the top for us. We definitely want to stay here again! While it comes with a reasonable accommodation fee, we would love to visit Shima again soon!

    Hotel with Warm Hospitality

    Wherever you go, the service at Hotel is attentive and soothing. I understand that the public bath is designed for privacy, but the cover completely blocks any view, which was quite disappointing. The hairdryer was weak, and it would be helpful if the quality of shampoo and conditioner could be improved.

    It was relaxing.

    I stayed at the accommodation for the first time in about 10 years. The renovated room was very functional with a sleek and stylish interior, making it truly delightful. The amenities were well-equipped, allowing for a comfortable stay. The entire hotel had a calm and resort-like atmosphere, which was very pleasant. For dinner, I chose Japanese cuisine with a casual plan, and the content was more than satisfactory. Breakfast was Western-style, and I enjoyed a luxurious and relaxing morning while being highly satisfied with the meal. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, especially the male staff member at the reception of the breakfast restaurant "Malena Shima," whose service left a lasting impression. Thank you so much! I would love to stay here again when visiting Mie.

    We traveled for my mother's birthday, and the whole family was very satisfied.

    This was my second stay. The first time was in October 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I stayed with a friend. We were upgraded to a new room overlooking the pool and enjoyed room service breakfast, which left a lasting impression. This time, I stayed with my family of four to celebrate my mother's birthday. Since we had plans to dine outside the Hotel, we made a reservation for no meals included. Despite being unsure if it would be appropriate to order a birthday cake under such circumstances, I called and requested one. The staff handled my request very politely. At check-in on the day of our stay, when I inquired about the cake, they confirmed all details from our phone conversation again. This reassured me as we headed to our room (I had been cautious because cakes failed to arrive twice at other accommodations last year). Our room was a renovated twin room on the garden side. While we expected to set up additional bedding ourselves, two extra beds were already prepared for us. As we were taking photos of the room, the cake arrived. The plate's lettering was adorable and decorated with plenty of fresh fruits—a truly satisfying cake. Both our room and the large public bath featured ReFa showerheads. My mother especially enjoyed using them in mist mode. The public bath also had a sauna where self-pouring steam could be experienced. Although there are many guest rooms here and interactions with staff are minimal by design, even those few exchanges reflected exceptional hospitality. I look forward to staying here again whenever visiting Shima!

    The service was excellent!

    The meals were very delicious. However, the waiting time was long. Even after receiving a call in the Room to head to the restaurant, there was still a wait. The dinner course started at 7:30 PM but finished past 10 PM. There is a large public bath, and it would have been more relaxing if we could go there in room wear.

    Enjoy the stunning views on our expansive grounds.

    The building resembled a resort in Central and South America. The interior had a lovely fragrance. The garden was well-maintained, allowing us to relax and stroll around the spacious grounds. The villa we stayed in was designed like a private vacation home, offering plenty of space even for five people. The view from the window was stunning. It would have been better if the sink area were slightly larger. Our stay was during the winter holiday season, but the large public bath never felt crowded. All showerheads in the women’s bath were ReFa, while there was only one ReFa showerhead in the men’s bath. Although there wasn’t an open-air bath, the bright and clean facilities made up for it, and with unlimited use of bath towels and towels, we enjoyed bathing three times during our stay. The meals were perfectly portioned—not too much—and elegantly served. Only my husband went for seconds on rice among our family members. For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western-style on-site; three of us opted for Western-style while two chose Japanese-style meals separately. It wasn’t buffet-style dining. I had Western cuisine which featured small portions of various dishes that were both delicious and satisfying to me overall! The Japanese meal also seemed delightful as our family debated over which style tasted better—it added fun to our experience. Since this Hotel has a wonderful outdoor pool, I’d love to visit again during summer!

    We stayed as a famil...

    We stayed as a family of three. We were initially concerned that the Garden Twin Room with an extra bed might feel cramped, but it was spacious enough and very comfortable! The fact that the sleepwear provided was pajamas rather than yukata or dress-style wear was also a nice touch. As we would love to visit again, here are some points for improvement: 1. It would be great if there were in-house wear available, as guests currently have to go to the restaurant in casual clothes. This would make it easier to visit the bath before meals. Many people head to the bath after eating, which causes overcrowding since the bathing area is not very large! 2. The water served during meals did not taste good—it had a moldy smell. Since there are water dispensers available within the facility, it would be wonderful if that water could also be served at the restaurant.

    French cuisine at its finest!

    Thank you for your stay. While the building shows its age, it was clean and well-maintained. We chose a Japanese-Western style room, but unfortunately, there was no view. The highlight of our stay was the French dinner—it exceeded expectations in presentation, quality, taste, and portion size! The Japanese-style breakfast was also delicious. It would have been even better if the large public bath had been an Onsen. This has become a Hotel we’d like to visit again just to enjoy the French cuisine.

    A trip with two sons to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday.

    In one word: Excellent! Although check-in was at 3 PM, we arrived around 2 PM and were pleasantly surprised to find our Room ready, allowing us to settle in immediately. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with just the right level of attentiveness from the staff. When we visited the café for afternoon coffee and cake, it was disappointing that the cake we wanted was sold out. During dinner, the wine service was impeccable; they kept an eye on our glasses and refilled them at perfect timing, which left us very satisfied. The location, Hotel atmosphere, and staff were all wonderful—this is a place I would love to visit again!

    Great value for the price.

    The exterior of the Hotel gives off a vibe as if you've arrived at the Aegean Sea, and the European-style entrance adds to the excitement! The view from the Room is great, with BS channels available, and plenty of coffee, tea, and Japanese tea provided. A water purifier is also installed in the hallway, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing tea time in your Room. Although the large public bath is not an Onsen, towels are provided, and I enjoyed multiple baths. Breakfast was delicious, making it a Hotel worth more than its price!
