The air conditioning in the Room I stayed in during the extreme heat wasn’t working!

I look forward to staying here every year because the breakfast buffet and Chinese cuisine are excellent. Last time, my Room was right in front of the elevator, and I was bothered by noise such as drainage sounds from the neighboring Room. This time, however, in Saga Prefecture—where temperatures exceeded 40°C the day before—my Room’s air conditioning did not work at all. I was told that the temperature is automatically controlled throughout the building and individual adjustments are not possible. A fan was provided, but I felt it could be dangerous due to the risk of heatstroke, so I requested a Room change. Since I plan to stay again next year, I would appreciate being assigned a Room on the 8th floor where I can adjust the temperature inside the Room. I would like to thank all staff members who assisted us this time by arranging a fan and helping with changing Rooms (including helping us during the move).
