    It was comfortable.

    We stayed here during the Sapporo Summer Festival, and the Sapporo Beer Garden venue was right in front of us. Although the property is older, the rooms are kept clean. Breakfast was very satisfying, with plenty of seasonal vegetables. I preferred it over a seafood-focused selection.

    The breakfast buffet was excellent and offered a wide variety. The Facility felt slightly dated overall. The staff’s hospitality was average—neither particularly good nor bad.

    The front desk service is polished, the bed mattress is exceptional—I had zero awakenings on my Apple Watch sleep tracking—and the breakfast buffet offers such a wide variety that you can fully enjoy the flavors of Hokkaido. This is my go-to place to stay in Sapporo.

    Convenient access

    From the airport, you can access the Hotel by train or bus; nearby stations and bus stops are within walking distance. There is an exclusive lounge for guests, offering complimentary soft drinks and Hokkaido sweets. Alcohol is available for a fee, and there is an à la carte menu. If you like sweets, this is a great perk. The lounge is open until 9:00 PM. After returning to the Hotel from going out, I came back expecting to enjoy a light drink in the lounge—beer with à la carte items like pizza and sausages. However, à la carte orders stopped at 8:00 PM. After that, alcohol orders also stopped. If this had been announced in advance, I would have eaten elsewhere, so it was a bit disappointing. The Room size and services are quite good overall. Breakfast was also delicious, with locally sourced vegetables and meat. Thank you very much.

    This was my first stay!

    I was happy that there was a lounge where we could enjoy delicious snacks. The Room was spacious and clean. The bath and washroom were also very roomy, so I could relax.

    Wonderful staff & Hotel

    The front desk staff at this Hotel explained everything very thoroughly. They also upgraded us to a larger Room than the type we had reserved, which made me incredibly happy, and we had a very comfortable stay. Even at the breakfast venue, I was surprised to find such kind staff these days. I’ve eaten at hundreds of hotels, and the breakfast staff here—so polite and considerate—are No. 1. It rained for two days in a row, so we borrowed umbrellas from the Hotel. The umbrellas were always dry, neatly closed, and lined up in the umbrella stand—and when opened, they were not damaged. Amazing. What’s even more surprising is that there wasn’t always a staff member standing nearby. Room: Quiet, clean, spacious, and easy to use. The temperature was just right—not too hot or cold. I strongly support your system for a Multiple Night Stay. Breakfast: Even without seafood dishes, every dish made with Hokkaido ingredients was delicious. Lounge: It felt like a dream to enjoy so many famous Hokkaido sweets. Convenience: The nearest subway station (Nishi 11-chome Station) is relatively close and easy to use without crowds. There’s also a convenience store nearby, and department stores like Marui Imai, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, and the main Rokkatei store are all within walking distance. Taking an airport bus was also very easy. When heading to the airport you need to wait in front of another Hotel nearby, but there is an information sheet about this available at the Hotel as well. Staff: Everyone was professional—never overly chatty—and worked properly while greeting guests with warm smiles. We truly enjoyed our time at this Hotel. Thank you very much. I would love to stay at View Hotel again.

    Highly recommended.

    From the staff’s service to the Room atmosphere and amenities, everything was very satisfying. Breakfast was also delicious across the board, and I was extremely satisfied.

    The Room had large windows and felt bright and open.

    I stayed in the North Resort Odori Park Side Double. The Room was small, but nicely renovated and comfortable. The window was large and felt open, but since it was on the 2nd floor, I felt it might be visible from outside. The bathroom with a washing area was nice, but I wished there were a place to hang towels. It was disappointing that the TV was small (32-inch). The table was close to the TV, making it hard to watch. The curtain for the large window is manual, but there wasn’t enough space by the window, so it was difficult to close. The bed was large and comfortable, but there wasn’t much space between it and the wall, making it hard to get in and out. The refrigerator door was difficult to open. I enjoyed the free lounge snacks—there were many different famous Hokkaido sweets. Breakfast had many unique dishes and was interesting, but some of the meat felt a bit tough, and there didn’t seem to be much fruit. A young female staff member provided great hospitality and was kind.

    Great value for money.

    It felt a bit inconvenient because it was some distance from the station. I thought it might be a little tough when it rains or snows. I stayed one night in the North Resort Economy Twin (Park Side). The Room had been renovated and was clean, functional, and easy to use. The window was large and overlooked Odori Park, giving an open feel. The bathroom with a washing area was spacious and nice. I wished there were a place to hang towels. The TV was small at 32 inches, which was disappointing. As for the bed, the width was narrow at 110 cm, and the firm mattress didn’t suit me. I found the refrigerator door difficult to open. I had high expectations for breakfast because the Reviews were good. There were many unique menu items and it was interesting, but there wasn’t anything I found particularly delicious. Personally, I liked that there was an asparagus dish. I felt there weren’t many kinds of fruit.

    Unfortunately.

    Nowadays, there is no complimentary bottled water provided in the Room, which was very surprising. No skincare amenities such as toner, lotion, or cleansing products are provided either. For a major Hotel, it was very surprising that so few service amenities were available.

    Near the Hotel, ther...

    Near the Hotel, there is a convenience store and Odori Park, making the location excellent. The lounge available after check-in also offered an all-you-can-eat selection of famous Hokkaido sweets, which was an unexpected and delightful surprise!

    I chose this Hotel b...

    I chose this Hotel because I was visiting for the Lilac Festival and wanted one facing Odori Park. It was very convenient, and even at night I could feel the lively festival atmosphere without it being noisy, which was great. The junior suite Room had a classic feel. Rooms like this often have too few outlets, but extra outlets had been added to the side of the nightstand between the beds, which really helped for charging my phone (they’re not very noticeable, so some kind of marker would make it even better). The vanity area and bathroom were also spacious, everything I needed was provided, and it was easy to use. I was surprised there was a bidet in addition to the toilet—this was my first time seeing that in a Hotel in Japan. At night, I repeatedly noticed a low rumbling sound and ended up slightly sleep-deprived. The next morning I tried to find the source but couldn’t; while waiting for the elevator at checkout, I thought its operating noise sounded similar. Since my Room was close to the elevator, I suspect that’s what carried through. There was also a scent in the hallway like restroom air freshener that bothered me. Maybe it was meant as hospitality? These days many Hotels pump fragrance into their spaces, but preferences vary widely—so rather than placing something that might make some guests think “I don’t like this” as soon as they arrive, I feel it would be better to keep it unscented.

    A spacious Hotel near Odori Park

    I stayed for a week for a workcation. The Room was spacious and comfortable. Odori Park was nearby, and it was about 20 minutes to Susukino and Sapporo Station, and about 5 minutes to Odori, so the location was great.

    First time staying with us.

    With easy access to two subway lines and the streetcar, the location is very convenient. The interior has an open atrium extending up to the upper floors, creating a spacious feel. We stayed in a twin room, and it was larger than expected, so we could relax comfortably. We would like to stay again.

    There is a guest lounge where you can relax.

    I stayed for two nights. The Hotel faces Odori Park, and it is quiet and relaxing. There is a guest lounge, and I was happy that soft drinks and snacks were provided free of charge. The coffee is delicious. The front desk staff were kind and courteous. Breakfast offers a wide variety, making it hard to choose. The coffee station gets crowded with lines, so it takes time. On the second day, I gave up. The Hotel was comfortable, and I would like to stay again.

    Business trip use

    I stayed here on a business trip. The Room is a bit old, but it was spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient. It was nice to enjoy Hokkaido sweets with coffee in the lounge service. I will stay here again.

    Great value for money!

    It was my first time back in Sapporo in a very long time. I wanted my grandchild to experience their first flight! It was our first time staying here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent value for money. First, we used the guest lounge sweets buffet for two days, and were very satisfied to enjoy popular Hokkaido treats and cakes that changed daily. Our Room had an Odori Park view and was spacious and clean. Amenities (except toothbrushes) could be picked up as needed from the shelf in front of the front desk. Breakfast was truly delicious. There was a wide variety, and we were very satisfied. The location is quiet, and with a short walk you can reach Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Susukino. It was perfect for traveling with children. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Our family of four stayed here. Each of us had our own bed, and the Room was spacious, so we were able to relax comfortably! The bathroom and toilet were separate, which made it easier for the kids to take a bath. In the lounge, we enjoyed Hokkaido sweets and were very happy. Breakfast featured many Hokkaido specialties, and everything was delicious. The risotto was our favorite. The front desk staff were polite, and everyone’s warm smiles made our stay even better. We would love to stay again next year. Thank you very much.

    Delicious breakfast.

    After the 4/4–5 LIVE, my family stayed here. We were very happy to be able to enjoy Shiroi Koibito and Hokkaido souvenirs in the lounge. The Room was also clean. Please note that amenities such as makeup remover, facial cleanser, and lotion are not provided. Before check-in, you can store your luggage in the free lockers on Basement Level 3. It was a great stay and we would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Affordable yet comfortable Hotel

    Twin Room for 3 people including a child at approximately 20,000 yen. Very satisfying for the price. The room was spacious and comfortable in terms of temperature. The separate bathroom and toilet were also large, making it perfect for families with small children.

    Delicious meals

    The building shows its age, but it is clean. The renovated Room was comfortable, but it was a bit disappointing to have to keep the curtains closed at all times due to visibility from the building across. The breakfast and meals are absolutely delicious. It might be one of the top-class Hotels in Sapporo. I plan to return just for the breakfast!

    I had a very comfortable stay!

    I initially booked a single room, but I was informed that I had been upgraded to a spacious room. The room turned out to be a truly large twin room with a comfortable sofa and plenty of space. While there were some signs of age, the bathroom was big and relaxing. When I made the Reservation, it was listed under the "View Stay Plan," but whether due to changes or originally so, the view from the window wasn't particularly remarkable. Still, the room was incredibly spacious for just one person. Above all else, breakfast was exceptional! If I didn’t have work, I would have enjoyed an even more leisurely stay. If I'm allowed to stay in a twin Room as one person again, I'll definitely use this place next time too!

    The hotel has a long...

    The hotel has a long history, so there were some areas that felt old, but the room was clean, possibly due to recent renovations. Regarding the bathroom area, it was disappointing that despite the spacious room, the bath and toilet were combined. The toilet was new, but the bathtub felt old. I was surprised to find that there is a parking fee for guests.

    A Safe Stay and Comfortable Lounge

    I stayed in a twin Room for a solo trip. Since I am sensitive to noise, I requested a high-floor corner Room, and they kindly prepared a spacious and quiet corner Room on the 9th floor with beautiful views of the main street and park. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a very restful stay. As my stay was No Meals Included, I enjoyed Hokkaido's signature sweets and a wide variety of drinks in the lounge, which left me completely satisfied. I also appreciated watching videos showcasing famous spots in Hokkaido, which added to my experience. Although I had plans to go out in the evening, it was too cold outside and the lounge was so comfortable that I decided to take my time planning the rest of my trip there instead. When visiting Sapporo again, I will definitely choose this place for my stay. The attentive service made me feel truly welcomed—thank you very much!

    It was excellent.

    Before the pandemic, the buffet was excellent, and I stayed here multiple times. Although I was disappointed that there were no lunch or dinner services now, I decided to stay after reading good reviews about the breakfast and lounge. I managed to make a reservation at a very reasonable price, so I didn’t have high expectations for the room. However, upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and functional it was—it made for a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, and the small area in front of the bathroom was convenient for changing clothes—I found it impressive. After returning home and checking my reservation details, I realized my room had been upgraded—thank you! The staff at reception, lounge, restaurant, as well as those cleaning in the morning were all smiling and welcoming. They also responded promptly when I forgot something. Since I visit Sapporo several times a year, I'd love to stay here again!
