    The staff is friendly and helpful.

    The staff were impressive with their prompt work and friendly greetings. The meals included only breakfast, but both Japanese and Western options were sufficient. The portions were just right, not excessive, and delicious. The Room is not spacious but clean and compact. It is perfectly fine for just staying overnight.

    Well done!

    The lobby was crowded with check-in guests due to an event, but the distribution of numbered tickets made the process smooth—excellent management! The staff were consistently smiling and incredibly friendly. We were provided with a Family Room, which was absolutely delightful. It was clean, quiet, and very satisfying. Breakfast was buffet-style, so we ate so much that we weren’t hungry until evening—great value for money! Everything was delicious. I’d love to stay here again! 100/100

    The hospitality was very comfortable.

    The staff at check-in noticed my parents had difficulty walking and immediately changed our Room to one near the elevator. The lounge staff were kind, and at Yamabiko Umibiko (teppanyaki), they quickly replaced the champagne glass with a cup when they saw my parent's hand trembling. Thanks to the thoughtful and caring staff, I felt reassured leaving my parents in their care. Thank you so much!

    Always Comfortable

    Check-in was smooth as it was a weekday. The room was as comfortable as always, and I am satisfied. I would like to use this accommodation again. At check-out, the machine charged me the Accommodation Tax, but after showing the receipt proving it had already been paid at check-in, they understood after a short wait. Please ensure smoother check-out procedures in the morning when time is limited and guests may feel rushed.

    It was our first sta...

    It was our first stay, and my spouse and I stayed together. While there are many other Hotels in Tokyo, the staff's courteous and excellent service stood out. Even with minor slips in explanations, it was not an issue at all, and we truly appreciated it. The meals were very delicious, and my wife mentioned she would love to stay again. However, there was a leak from the base of the showerhead, so it might be good to have it repaired promptly. Apologies for forgetting to mention this earlier.

    I stayed in a family...

    I stayed in a family room with my aunt. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The only disappointment was during check-out when I arranged to have my suitcase sent home. The staff seemed inexperienced, which took more time than expected, and eventually, the suitcase delivered to my home turned out to be my aunt's by mistake, causing extra hassle.

    Stayed here after a while and enjoyed the reliable hospitality and breakfast buffet.

    I visited after a long time. Although it was a late-night walk-in, the front desk service was calm and courteous. The family room I used for the first time felt too spacious and well-equipped for one person, but I could imagine it being very comfortable for 3 or 4 people. And then, the morning buffet. The variety and menu are "classic," but they offer a sense of reliability and more than enough deliciousness. As always, it's a simple yet high-ceilinged space with calming natural light that makes you want to linger longer. Even when there are many group guests, it remains comfortable thanks to the efficiency of the staff. Thank you very much!

    Is this a Business Hotel? I often use Mets in Tokyo and have always been impressed by the friendly staff, cleanliness, and comfort. I had been looking forward to staying at Edmont someday, thinking it was more like a City Hotel under the same JR group. This time, I stayed alone for a quick refresh trip but ended up feeling unsatisfied, possibly because I was assigned an older room. Since this hotel has restaurants and banquet halls, I was expecting some level of hospitality; however, it felt no different from a Business Hotel. The staff were not unfriendly or anything like that—it’s just that certain things stood out more because my expectations were higher than they would be for a typical Business Hotel. Check-in and check-out are done via machines as well. Perhaps it's unavoidable, but there were many foreign guests in the lobby (it seemed like most of the guests were foreigners), which made me feel slightly out of place. Guests can use facilities such as the lounge or gym; however, since there are no desks in the lobby area, I thought about relaxing or writing in the lounge instead—but it was crowded with foreign guests enjoying their time there too much for me to feel comfortable reading or relaxing myself. On the other hand, the gym was quiet. I stayed in a single room in the main building; while clean overall thanks to housekeeping efforts—at night even with all lights on—the room felt dimly lit somehow. The refrigerator seemed more like just a cooler box as items inside didn’t stay very cold either. There are larger rooms available here—I once considered booking one for special occasions—but now having experienced what staying solo feels like here gave me insight into its atmosphere better suited perhaps only if your primary goal is simply being centrally located within Tokyo rather than expecting full-fledged City-Hotel vibes. Although meals weren’t partaken during my visit hence minimal interaction occurred between myself & staff members leading towards forming impressions shared above regarding interiors lacking warmth despite exteriors appearing grandiose initially upon arrival nonetheless overall functionality remains intact fulfilling basic needs adequately without major shortcomings encountered throughout duration spent onsite ultimately leaving neutral impression behind albeit bakery shop personnel exhibited exemplary professionalism reminiscent traditional high-end establishments alongside delicious bread offerings deserving commendation recognition alike!

    Within walking distance to Budokan.

    I often use this accommodation when visiting the Budokan. It is a very valuable hotel as there are not many within walking distance. Thank you as always. The staff are pleasant, check-in and check-out are smooth, and the room is clean—overall, a very good hotel. Despite this, the accommodation fee and restaurant prices are reasonable! It may not have a particularly luxurious feel, but it is very convenient to use. The only downside was that the fragrance in the lobby felt a bit cheap.

    It was my first stay in a while.

    I believe I have stayed at this accommodation about 10 times, but this was my first stay in about a year. Check-in was smooth, and the room was a spacious twin in the new building, which was more than sufficient. Previously, for check-out, I only had to drop the card key into a box, but this time I couldn't find it and checked out at the front desk instead. Has the procedure changed?

    I stayed here becaus...

    I stayed here because I attended a concert at Tokyo Dome. The guest room was clean, and the front desk staff were very accommodating. I appreciated the Snow Skin Care Set and the SALONIA hair dryer, which dried my hair quickly. The location is also convenient as it’s close to Tokyo Dome. I chose a plan with breakfast included, but unfortunately, the staff in charge of making omelets did not provide good service. Even when I said "please," there was no response (perhaps my voice was too soft?), and their attitude made me wonder if they were in a bad mood. They seemed busy handling other tasks simultaneously, but even if customer service isn’t their main role, it would be better to avoid giving off such an impression. The breakfast itself wasn’t particularly delicious or memorable either, which was disappointing given how good everything else was. While I’d like to stay again in the future, I think next time I'll opt for a No Meals Included plan instead.

    Stayed here during my visit to Yasukuni Shrine.

    Located in a prime location, just about a 2-minute walk from Iidabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. Only one stop away from Kudanshita Station, the nearest station to Yasukuni Shrine—truly a great choice. The service was very polite and... absolutely satisfying. This is definitely a hotel I would love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

    Convenient

    I stayed at the accommodation for a Budokan live event. The biggest attraction was being able to walk back after the concert. Breakfast exceeded my expectations and was very satisfying. All the Japanese side dishes were delicious. If I may make one small request, it would have been nice to have tamagoyaki or thick omelet available. The room was clean, and the bathtub was spacious. It would be perfect if there were amenities for women in the room. The staff's service was smooth and efficient, making me want to stay at this hotel again in the future.

    About Check-in

    Stayed for one night on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15. The location was great, the Room was clean, and the Facility was well-equipped. However, we had to wait over an hour to check in. We were traveling with elderly family members, and all the chairs prepared near the counter were occupied, leaving no place to sit. It would be appreciated if check-in could be handled more smoothly. For guests with elderly individuals, small children, or those with physical disabilities, it would be helpful if staff could proactively offer assistance.

    Affordable and Good Hotel

    This is my second stay. The affordable pricing makes it overall satisfactory. The accommodation is clean. Although I usually find the location inconvenient for personal use, I stayed this time as I had business nearby. Walking from Suidobashi felt closer than accessing from JR Iidabashi.

    Check-in may take some time.

    Stayed for a live concert at the dome. Had lunch in the hotel's basement, and when I went to the front desk around 2 PM, I received ticket number 37. Check-in started exactly at 3 PM. I wish I had gotten the ticket before lunch. Since we were three people this time, we chose a spacious family room. The room was large and comfortable. Would love to stay again!

    There was an event nearby, and it was crowded, but they accommodated us by allowing an earlier check-in. Additionally, even though we parked a bit earlier than expected, it was processed with the accommodation guest rate. We reserved a slightly larger room this time and had a comfortable stay. We would like to use this accommodation again.

    Use during dome events

    Honestly, if it were at the regular price range, I would have rated everything 4 to 5 stars. The service was very polite, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of menu options. My only minor concerns were that the Superior Room was on the lowest 4th floor and felt smaller than expected. However, during event periods, the pricing is set at more than double the usual rate, which I found far from reasonable for its value. This left me feeling like I had no choice but to use it under such circumstances, leading to this evaluation. A price increase of around 20-30% would have been more acceptable.

    Ideal for large groups

    Finding a hotel in Tokyo with a room for five people can be challenging, but we stayed at this accommodation. Having stayed here decades ago, we were prepared for it to feel outdated, but the stay exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent—close to the station and within walking distance of Tokyo Dome. The room was clean and had five beds, which was perfect for our family. The jet bath was a great way to relieve travel fatigue!
