    I stayed here for a ...

    I stayed here for a live event and found the Hotel directly connected to the station very convenient. Check-in was very smooth. I stayed in a compact Room, which was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Having a restaurant inside the Hotel was also helpful as I didn’t have to worry about finding a place to eat. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity.

    Club Lounge Renovated!

    I use this Hotel 1-2 times a year and am always satisfied. This visit was my first in about a year, and the Club Lounge has been renovated! Check-in and check-out can now be done at the Club Lounge, and you can go directly to or from the 21st floor from the station or parking lot (2nd floor), making it more convenient without unnecessary steps (the front desk is on the 1st floor). The Club Lounge space has expanded. The variety of items during cocktail time and breakfast has increased compared to before, enhancing satisfaction. While the Facility shows some age, including less-than-ideal water facilities, it is kept clean. With its excellent location and attentive staff, this is highly recommended among Hotels with Club Lounges in Hiroshima City.

    The lounge was excellent.

    The Plan included lounge access as a monitor. The Room was on a high floor, which was very open and spacious, contrary to my expectation of being on a lower floor! I had a comfortable stay. Although the Room wasn't very large, it was more than enough for one person. The pajamas in the Room were one-piece style, but I appreciated being able to borrow separate ones. The lounge I had been looking forward to was always quiet and relaxing no matter when I visited. There were plenty of drinks available, and the food featured local specialties, which made me very satisfied. Having sweets available at all times was personally delightful for me. Above all, the Hotel has excellent access, but I'd love to stay again just for the lounge experience!

    Reliable Satisfaction

    Every year, I use this accommodation for staying during Carp games. While there are no extravagant individual services, I always feel at ease with the consistent service provided. The proximity to Mazda Stadium and excellent access to the station are very appealing. The breakfast is also highly satisfying, especially the ice cream, which is my favorite.

    Luxury Hotel Life in Hiroshima

    This stay was at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima. I chose a room that included breakfast and access to the lounge. Recently, the rooms have been renovated to nearly double their previous size, offering a spacious and open atmosphere where you can relax comfortably. The space has been transformed into an area where you can unwind, whether enjoying the view from the window while lounging on the sofa or reading a book with a drink in hand—perfect for escaping the busyness of daily life. The staff provided attentive service with just the right level of interaction, ensuring a sense of comfort throughout my stay. The breakfast was served in a semi-order style, offering a special experience beyond an ordinary buffet. Particularly memorable were freshly cooked steak and omelets available in the morning—the fluffy texture of the eggs made me feel indulgent from early in the day. There was also an extensive selection of Japanese and Western dishes, showcasing fresh ingredients and meticulous preparation. It had been quite some time since I felt this satisfied with hotel breakfast—it truly made for an exceptional start to my day. The theme for this stay was "fully enjoying hotel life," and it exceeded all expectations. From check-in to check-out, I found plenty to enjoy within the hotel itself without needing to rely on outings or sightseeing—a hallmark of high-quality accommodations. Conveniently connected directly to Hiroshima Station yet providing an escape from urban noise once inside, it offered luxurious moments of refreshment and relaxation. This wonderful experience makes me eager to return again soon!

    Room smell

    There was an unpleasant smell in the Room from the moment I entered. Even using the air purifier didn’t help, so it might have been the smell of the Room itself. I wonder if housekeeping noticed it? I almost wanted to request a Room change. On the other hand, I was very satisfied with the lounge; the staff were kind and attentive, and the food was delicious. The variety of drinks was also impressive.

    Had a great trip and fell in love with Hiroshima.

    The room, service, and meals made for a satisfying trip. I liked it so much that I became a member of Granvia. If I have the chance in the future, I would like to make a reservation with Granvia again, even outside Hiroshima. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the service. I'm glad I found such a great accommodation.

    A Lounge for Complete Satisfaction

    Since it was a lounge-inclusive plan, this review mainly focuses on the lounge. We visited the lounge four times for afternoon tea, cocktail hour, refreshments, and breakfast. Both the sweets and meals were delicious with plenty of variety. There were many local specialties from Hiroshima, which made us very happy. The staff's attentiveness created a comfortable atmosphere in the lounge. Although we had dinner reservations outside, we would have loved to relax in the lounge all evening if not for that reservation. For breakfast, we ordered the highly-rated anago (conger eel) chazuke and omelet based on reviews. The sauce on the omelet was particularly delicious. Additionally, my husband found the wagyu steak he ordered so appealing that I ended up ordering one as well! The drink selection was extensive—so much so that even after visiting four times, it was impossible to try everything available. One standout recommendation from a staff member was "Chi-bo" (a carbonated drink made with Chichiyasu yogurt), which my husband enjoyed so much he went back for seconds. The hotel’s location is directly connected to the station via an indoor passageway—a lifesaver on such a hot day as it allowed us to reach our train without stepping outside at all! The bus stop for airport shuttles and sightseeing buses like "Meipuru-pu" is also right in front of the hotel, making transportation extremely convenient. We usually enjoy staying at hotels with lounge-inclusive plans once or twice a year in Tokyo; however, when traveling to Hiroshima again in the future, we would definitely love to stay at this hotel once more!

    The Wi-Fi is unstable and unsuitable for work.

    The hotel is directly connected to the station, which is why I chose it, but the Wi-Fi in the Room I stayed in this time was too unstable to work. It was difficult to connect not only in the morning and evening but also during the day, and it even froze during online meetings. Completely unacceptable.

    It would be perfect if the bathroom was not a unit bath.

    The Plan included lounge access, which was an excellent choice. The light meal service in the lounge featured local specialties from Hiroshima, making it a great experience for travelers. Since it was a weekday, the lounge wasn’t crowded, allowing us to relax in spacious seating while enjoying drinks and food. The staff provided attentive service as well. The Room was standard and on the smaller side, which is understandable. However, since there’s no spa available, it would be great if the bathroom had a separate washing area for added comfort. The location is convenient, and with such an excellent lounge experience, I’d love to stay here again!

    Directly connected to the station for convenience

    Direct access to the Hotel from Hiroshima Station made it very convenient, and it was easy to reach tourist attractions. The breakfast included many of Hiroshima's specialty dishes and was delicious.

    Very convenient and close to the station. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. The water facilities felt a bit dated. Instead of a shower curtain, there was a plastic panel, which required some adjustment when using the shower, making it slightly inconvenient. Care is needed to prevent water from reaching the toilet area. It was a breakfast-included Plan, but I couldn't use it this time due to feeling unwell. I hope to try again next time!

    You can enter the Hotel directly from the station after getting off the Shinkansen, so you don't have to worry about rain, and the location is excellent. Dining options are all available within the station building, making it very convenient. The Hotel itself was clean and relaxing; however, I noticed some external noise while in the Room. That said, with amenities well-prepared and a trouser press provided, I was fully satisfied. The staff's service was also excellent—looking forward to staying here again next time!

    Excellent location, made for an enjoyable trip.

    This trip was for sightseeing at Miyajima and Kintaikyo Bridge. At first, I considered staying at an accommodation in Miyajima, but with the next day's car-sharing plan, not having to carry luggage around, and the abundance of dining options near the station, I decided on this place—and it was absolutely the right choice. After getting off the Shinkansen, I used the cloakroom directly connected to the station to store my luggage before check-in and felt much lighter. I enjoyed Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki at Ekie after waiting in line and then took the Sanyo Main Line to Miyajimaguchi Station. From there, I boarded a ferry to Miyajima where I visited Itsukushima Shrine and rode a ropeway up Mount Misen before returning to the hotel. Since we stayed on a lounge floor, we had access to drinks at the 21st-floor lounge—local craft beer was delicious! The space was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. Another goal of our trip was "Hiroshima yakiniku." We visited a restaurant we had reserved that has been featured on TV many times. The dishes like "Kone" and "Brisket" were fantastic! This restaurant was also close to the station within walking distance—it’s so convenient when everything is walkable. Truly convenient and perfect! After relaxing in our room's bath upon returning from dinner, we went back once more to enjoy drinks at the lounge again. Not only were there plenty of beverages and snacks available but also an exceptional sense of tranquility—something rare these days during travels elsewhere where it tends toward being noisy. We also had breakfast in their lounge—it exceeded expectations! If given another opportunity someday soon—I’d love coming back here again without hesitation! Even after checking out next morning while heading towards Kintaikyo Bridge—they kindly stored my luggage until later pickup timed perfectly alongside catching another Shinkansen train afterward. The location couldn’t be better; thank you so much for taking care throughout such wonderful stay experience!

    I found this place to be a much better fit for me. The highlight here is the Granvia Lounge. This was my first visit since its renovation, and while I couldn’t pinpoint all the changes in the interior, having access to the entire floor made a big difference. It was incredibly relaxing. The extended evening hours were a nice touch, and with more options like okonomiyaki and snacks available, it was perfect! I left feeling completely satisfied. As for breakfast, I’ve always enjoyed their à la carte menu with unlimited orders, but now they’ve added steak to it—what a delightful surprise! I used to wonder why steak wasn’t included here when it was available at the buffet downstairs, so this addition is greatly appreciated. The steak itself was thick and delicious! There also seem to be new dishes added overall—it’s fantastic! In conclusion, I’m thoroughly impressed with the lounge after its renovation. Thank you very much. Of course, I’ll continue choosing this place for my stays moving forward!

    First time using IKYU at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima

    I made my first Hotel Reservation on IKYU by myself. Next time, I would like to choose a twin Room that is a bit more spacious. I had a course meal at Koran-en, but I expected it to be slightly tastier. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Western dishes, but it was just okay. It was disappointing that the bread wasn't freshly baked! It's hard to keep it warm when there are many guests. The drink selection, from juices to coffee, was excellent. The Hotel staff's hospitality was outstanding.

    Convenient and comfortable, nothing more to ask for!

    The staff is always welcoming with a smile and attentive to your needs. Above all, the direct connection to the station makes it incredibly convenient. This time, I stayed on the Club Floor, where the meals were delicious. Perhaps due to it being a weekday or the timing, I enjoyed my meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The view from the window was also stunning. The bed featured Airweave for ultimate comfort—I slept soundly and deeply!

    As the accommodation included access to the lounge, it was available all day except during lunch hours, with menu variations depending on the time. The lounge offered an extensive selection of drinks and local specialties like oysters and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. Guests could relax while enjoying the stunning view from the top floor, making for a very satisfying experience. Additionally, when I inquired at the front desk about purchasing bath additives, they kindly brought them to my room, which made me very happy.

    I stayed at this accommodation again. The room's comfort, the convenience of outlets and lighting, and the proximity to the station make it a flawless hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and I ended up taking too much and feeling very full. I will use this accommodation again in the future, so thank you in advance for your hospitality.     Directly connected to the station, allowing check-in without getting wet even in bad weather. The service at the front desk, the spacious and clean Room, and the amenities were all satisfactory. I will use this accommodation again.

    I requested a non-smoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes.

    I requested a non-smoking Room, but it smelled like cigarettes from the moment I entered until I left. Even with the air purifier set to MAX, nothing improved. Since I was busy with work, I didn't have the chance to request a Room change, and I ended up sleeping in a Room with a terrible smell. This Hotel is very convenient as it is located next to the station, but I don't think I will use it again. It's a shame because the service was good.

    It's nice because it's close to ekie.

    As usual, it was a nice Hotel. I wasn't feeling very well, so I gave up on the Hotel buffet I wanted to try and had a meal at ekie, located about a minute's walk from the Hotel, in the station building. I enjoyed Hiroshima gyoza, with one serving of Hiroshima gyoza, two servings of fried oysters, and barley shochu. It's nice to be close to ekie where you can try various foods. I want to go to the conveyor belt sushi, but it's always crowded, so I give up every time.

    It was my first visit in a while. I was able to spend both the night and morning comfortably as usual in my favorite lounge. However, I heard that this lounge will soon be temporarily closed for renovations. Personally, I think the environment is already sufficient, but I hope the satisfaction will be even higher after it reopens. Thank you very much.
