The Granvia Lounge is truly excellent.
I’ve stayed at all the hotels in the city that have a lounge, and considering everything—menu selection, atmosphere, comfort, views, and service—I think this one is the best. In particular, the wide variety of alcoholic drinks and the excellent breakfast menu with a live kitchen are No. 1. And on some days you can enjoy these services at a very good rate… it’s wonderful. I truly hope you will continue without lowering your current level of service. Also, while many places have recently switched to self check-in, I really appreciate that you still offer face-to-face check-in and that the front desk staff welcome guests with a smile—it makes me feel great. There may be system changes in the future, but first impressions at check-in can greatly affect how someone feels about their stay. So I hope you will continue to keep that kind of care and consideration in mind. I’ll be staying again at year-end.

We stayed here as a ...
We stayed here as a couple. It was our first time in Hiroshima, and the hotel was clean and conveniently located just a short walk from the station. Since there were vacancies, we were upgraded to a larger room than we had booked; it was spotless with a great view, and we would love to stay again. We regret not ordering breakfast because we had to leave early.

Is there anything else?
It was hard to understand what the staff member handling check-in was saying. Whether due to unclear articulation or speaking too fast, I couldn’t catch it. I would like the staff to confirm with each other. I stayed on the Superior Floor and used the lounge service, and the staff there were similar. Even their brief guidance was difficult to understand (this is not about being a foreigner or having a dialect). They would quickly say only what they wanted to say and leave, without enough intention to make sure it was communicated. I travel nationwide for business and use hotels frequently, and I have never felt this elsewhere, so I don’t think it’s an issue with my hearing. There were many younger staff members in the lounge. There were few smiles, and I didn’t feel much hospitality. There was a wide selection of alcohol and juices—probably one of the hotel’s highlights—and I was excited, but even when I asked a simple question out of curiosity, I only received dry responses. They wouldn’t even clear stacked plates after guests finished eating. At first I wondered if they were intentionally keeping their distance, but later a more experienced-looking staff member noticed and cleared them. Watching how that person assisted other guests also felt pleasant. Because it was a weekday, the lounge wasn’t crowded and I could relax; however, despite having many staff members present, it is extremely disappointing that so few provided genuinely pleasant service. Because it was quiet, staff private conversations (laughter or non-work-related talk) were also irritating. Even if someone is new, unclear explanations or awkward movements are not an issue at all. What stood out—at an extra-cost lounge—was how few people seemed truly eager to help guests have a good time; I have never experienced this level at any other hotel. Although this is the Superior Floor, one of the knobs for adjusting the lights was broken and unusable. Overall, my impression is that it’s such a waste of potential.

Recommended Club Lounge
The Superior Room & Club Lounge are highly recommended (the views from the upper floors and the night scenery are wonderful). With direct access to the station, it’s convenient no matter whether you use the Shinkansen, JR, or streetcar. Using the cloakroom on arrival is easy, and it’s very convenient for sightseeing trips to Miyajima and around the city such as the Atomic Bomb Dome. There are also well-known okonomiyaki restaurants and souvenir shops gathered inside the station building. Inside the Hotel, including in the Club Lounge, we were very satisfied with the attentive service from the staff; the food was delicious, and there was a wide selection of high-quality alcoholic beverages in the lounge. It’s easy to see why so many guests return.

This is a very good Hotel.
I often can’t sleep soundly when staying at a Hotel for work, but here I fell asleep before I knew it. The relaxed-fit pajamas I requested were great, and above all, the lighting was excellent. The brightness was just right where needed, and when lying on the bed there was no glare in my eyes. In the unit bath, the hair dryer shelf above the toilet was narrow and I felt like it might fall, but having a half glass door instead of a shower curtain was very nice. The slippers were thick, and the toothbrush was good as well. The table/desk/chair setup was comfortable and relaxing. As for the meal, perhaps because I chose an inexpensive Japanese course (and possibly due to the season), only the sea bream stood out as truly delicious among the fish dishes. For the meat rice dish, I wanted more of that distinctive Japanese aroma and seasoning. The service was perfect, and their creativity made me satisfied overall. I signed up for membership.

The club lounge was excellent.
I was torn between this Hotel and the newly opened Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate, but chose this one because it offers a Plan with access to the club lounge. I was extremely satisfied with my choice. The guest room had been renovated and didn’t feel dated at all. That said, I did honestly wish the washroom were separate, though I knew that in advance. The quality of the shampoo and other amenities provided was also very good, and I was pleased. Above all, the lounge was wonderful—great views and a very comfortable atmosphere. There was a wide selection of drinks, delicious sweets such as cakes, and an excellent breakfast as well. Check-in and check-out at the lounge counter were very convenient. (Even after check-out, they also stored my luggage at the club lounge.) Overall, my satisfaction level was high, and this has become a Hotel I would like to stay at again when visiting Hiroshima.

The service, rooms, ...
The service, rooms, and meals—everything about this Hotel was wonderful. The lounge was even more comfortable than expected, and I would love to stay again. All the food was delicious, but the only disappointment was the okonomiyaki. There was also a great variety of drinks, including plenty of alcoholic options. I couldn’t make it during afternoon tea due to other plans, so I’d definitely like to try it next time.

The lounge on the 21st floor offers unlimited drinks (including alcohol such as beer, wine, and sake), all-you-can-eat light snacks (such as mini okonomiyaki and sweets), and beautiful views. You can also check in at this lounge, and I was able to relax here after checking in. The staff were attentive and helpful as well, and I think it’s a wonderful Hotel that made me love Hiroshima even more.

This was my first st...
This was my first stay at an Accommodation directly connected to Hiroshima Station, and it was very convenient. The Room was easy to use, clean, and well maintained, which made it very comfortable. I would like to stay again.

Convenient Hotel near the station
Breakfast was served on the club floor and was excellent. The Room is smaller compared with other hotels in the same group in Kyoto. Cleaning seemed to be done only in visible areas, and there was a lot of dust in places that were hard to see due to dim lighting. As I have a dust allergy, I would like more thorough cleaning.

The club lounge is excellent.
I thought it would just be a convenient Hotel near the station, but it far exceeded my expectations. You can check in and check out at the club lounge—and the lounge wasn’t crowded. There was an amazing variety of soft drinks, and a staff member wearing a sommelier badge stylishly prepared an iced chai right in front of me like a cocktail. The other staff were also wonderful, and the hospitality was outstanding. It was so comfortable that I canceled my plans and switched to a staycation. Staying in this suite with club lounge access felt like a hidden gem. The Room amenities were also from B.A, which really made me happy. Breakfast was great too: the made-to-order menu let you choose as many items as you like, including rice porridge and steak, and the buffet even had comb honey.

During my business trip, I stayed here along with the neighboring South property. The staff were very kind. I would like to stay here again in the future.

Unfortunately.
Thank you for accommodating our request for a Room with a great view. The lounge also had a wonderful view, and everything—food and drinks included—was very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again next time. The only disappointment was that my card payment could not be processed at checkout, although it worked with another card. Later, I found out it was an online system issue. The front desk staff suggested I might have exceeded my credit limit and said the machine is accurate. Being doubted made me feel very uncomfortable and disappointed.

The breakfast buffet...
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options and was very delicious. I didn’t have enough time to enjoy it at a relaxed pace, but I’d love to take my time and savor it on my next visit if I have the chance.

Enjoy the Executive Lounge
We stayed on the Monitor Plan. We enjoyed everything from afternoon tea starting at 3:00 PM through the next day’s tea time starting at 10:00 AM. We had a wonderful time with the wide selection of drinks and snacks during cocktail time. At breakfast, there were so many choices that we overindulged—steak, an omelet, Chinese rice porridge, salad, and even sweets. Since we had to travel to Osaka afterward, it was a shame I had to pass on the morning sparkling wine. We would definitely like to stay again for a Multiple Night Stay.

Hiroshima Sightseeing
I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with the Granvia Lounge access Plan. For sightseeing, it was very convenient and great since the hotel is directly connected to the station. The Granvia Lounge also offered different events at various times, which I really enjoyed. All staff were kind and courteous, making my stay very pleasant and comfortable. The Room was clean overall and a good size, but there was nothing in particular—either positive or negative—that stood out. If I have a chance to visit Hiroshima again, I would like to stay here again.

The lounge is wonderful!
It was a wonderful stay. We chose the lounge Plan, and I was impressed by how substantial the hot meals were during cocktail time. Every item on the breakfast à la carte menu was excellent, and I was surprised to learn there were five choices—and that you could order all of them if you wanted. The breakfast beef steak was so tender it truly moved me. The rice porridge was also delicious. There were plenty of Hiroshima local specialties as well, making it a delight to look at, and I was amazed at how promptly everything was replenished. The staff were attentive and created such a wonderful atmosphere. The lounge is spacious with a great view, so we ended up staying for quite a while. Being able to enjoy sparkling wine from the morning made for a blissful time. It seems sparkling wine is available even after cocktail time ends—surely a dream for anyone who loves drinks. The convenience of being directly connected to the station is truly invaluable. The Room had everything we needed without excess, and the bed was very comfortable—making it easy to relax no matter the purpose of your trip. On my previous visit to Hiroshima I stayed at another Hotel, but from now on in Hiroshima, Granvia will be my only choice. I’m grateful to all the Hotel staff for giving us such an amazing time. When your impression of a Hotel is this good, your impression of the city becomes better too. Thank you very much indeed.

Dissatisfied
On a business trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here again after using it last month. The Room key packaging had changed from a folded paper holder to a simple paper pouch, which made me wonder if it was cost-cutting. In the Room there was one small carton of water; last month there were two, so that also felt like cost-cutting. Meals used to be included until my stay before last, but for older guests like me, rather than eating at a buffet I would prefer an omelet, bacon, toast, and coffee—and it feels pointless to go to the buffet just for those items. A robot was collecting used plates, but many guests seemed unfamiliar with it and I found it awkward. This time I looked in through the glass to check how crowded it was; previously I could barely secure a seat, but this time there were noticeably empty seats. Tourists aside, I didn’t see any business travelers. After 8:00, there are plenty of dining options inside the station anyway. The Accommodation rate varies by season as well, but compared with last month it was more than double and didn’t leave much of a positive impression overall, so I was disappointed. At checkout I only had to operate a machine; when leaving there was no staff around either, so I left with a rather dry feeling—no “Please come again,” or anything like that. Is this what modern Hotels are like? That’s all.

Club Lounge
I live in Hiroshima, but I stayed here for a change of pace. The lounge was spacious, relaxing, and quiet, which was great. Many of the lounge dishes featured Hiroshima-inspired items, and everything was delicious. I only wish the room lighting had been a bit brighter. Since I had to go to the bathroom sink to do my makeup, it would have been even better if there were a dressing table. I was very satisfied to be able to use the club lounge at a great value with the monitor rate.

It was refined yet delivered an outstanding performance.
The bathroom and water-area design was sophisticated and very user-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious. If I may add one thing, I would have appreciated being told which direction the elevator was at check-in—I ended up walking around twice. It would help if staff could gesture clearly during the explanation. For first-time guests, finding the elevator can be tricky, since in many Hotels it isn’t centrally located and is often in a slightly hard-to-see area. From the Hotel’s perspective, it probably seems obvious.

Club Lounge
I loved the club lounge during my last stay, so I returned again soon after. This time, I enjoyed items I didn’t get to try before—Miyajima beer, okonomiyaki, and steak at breakfast—all of which were delicious. On my previous visit, I enjoyed the sandwiches and sake.

I stayed here for a live concert. Although I initially booked an Economy Twin since it was just for sleeping, I was upgraded to a Standard Twin—thank you so much! The separate pajamas and curling dryer I requested in advance were clean and made my stay very comfortable. I would love to stay here again when attending another live concert in Hiroshima.

The Club Floor is exceptional.
I had high expectations after reading reviews and watching videos before my stay. However, the club floor exceeded my expectations. Especially the breakfast steak and ochazuke were just as delicious as mentioned in the reviews. I was delighted to see Hiroshima specialties like lemon pudding and chirimen-jako salad included.
