    Too many foreign visitors and day-trip bathers.

    The service, meals, and room were all satisfying and wonderful! The Onsen itself was really good. I was looking forward to my first visit to Noboribetsu, but I didn't expect so many ill-mannered foreigners and day-trip bathers. Especially in the evening, it was the worst. I was a bit surprised.

    Dinner is excellent! Be cautious with the coin laundry!

    Dinner was a buffet, and the bluefin tuna sashimi was the best bluefin tuna I've ever had! If they provide this quality of bluefin tuna every night, it's amazing! (It was not offered for breakfast.) The large public bath had towels available, so it was convenient to go without bringing anything. The facility is huge, and the room was simple, but I'm glad I chose the "West Wing." Other wings have nice rooms, but it's a hassle to get to the large public bath. The children seemed to really enjoy the pool, and unlike typical hotel pools these days, the rules were relaxed enough to allow ball games. There is no coin laundry in the building, and there are two machines in the neighboring hotel, but there seems to be only one entry card from Daiichi Takimotokan, so there was a one-hour wait. You cannot reserve the entry card. It's uncertain if the previous user will return it on time. You have to frequently check with the front desk to see if the entry card has been returned. Even after finally obtaining the entry card and entering the neighboring hotel, if there are other users, you may have to wait another 30 minutes since there are only two laundry machines. Additionally, you need to come back 30 minutes later when your laundry is done to put it in the dryer. If there are other users for the dryer, you have to come back again after several minutes. I ended up trapped in a laundry hell for over two hours in Hell Valley. It's no joke. Moreover, perhaps because the machines are old, their performance is poor, and the clothes are half-dry. It's unbelievable that such a large ryokan doesn't have a laundry service. Borrowing the laundry from the neighboring hotel!? Only one entry card for the neighboring hotel!? If you are planning a long trip and want to do laundry at Daiichi Takimotokan, it's better to do it at another location on the days before or after. Daiichi Takimotokan! Improvement needed! Please!
