    I had a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at a large family Resort Hotel after a long time. The cleaning was thorough, the staff's service was excellent, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much. A few requests: ■ There were areas where Wi-Fi connection was weak. While it is understandable for outdoor cafes, there were times when it didn’t connect even in the Room inside the building. ■ It would be helpful if the draft beer server could be placed in an area accessible while wearing yukata so that guests can enjoy it in their Room after bathing. ■ Regarding my chosen Plan, the "Small Portion Dinner Course" had portions that were too small. The amuse-bouche "Shrimp with Aurora Sauce" especially felt this way, and overall it seemed more like home-cooked food. However, the beef fillet steak with red wine sauce was exceptionally delicious!

    Suddenly Yamanashi

Hot Tokyo every day. Suddenly decided to go to Yamanashi in the afternoon! Made a same-day Reservation. As soon as we got off the highway, it felt like a hot wind, but since the Hotel is on a mountain, the temperature was completely different. Mount Fuji looked beautiful; I love summer Mount Fuji too. No matter how many times I visit, it always feels relaxing and healing. Welcomed by kind staff and relaxed in a Western-style Room. Enjoyed soaking in the Onsen at leisure. It's great that you don't need to bring towels from your Room—perfect for going hands-free multiple times! Had a restful sleep and enjoyed my favorite breakfast in the morning. I absolutely love their cheese omelet here! Breakfast with a view of Mount Fuji is pure bliss. With late checkout available, we took our time and enjoyed every moment. The parfaits are something I look forward to each time—during peach season, I'd want to come every month if possible! The peaches are amazing, and so is their vanilla ice cream. There are various fun events for children too; I'd love to come back with my grandchild next time!

The Hotel staff were very kind, making my stay pleasant. I wish the view from the bath was a bit better. Morning coffee on the terrace was delightful with a refreshing breeze and lovely birdsong.

    Adult Getaway

We stayed for one night as a couple. The meals were incredibly delicious, and gazing at the view from the window made us truly feel like we were on a resort getaway. The Onsen temperature was just right, perfect for relieving summer fatigue. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and would love to visit again. It would be even better if there were a library available.

    A comfortable and pleasant Hotel.

I used to visit Fuefuki every year for the peach parfait, but this time I stayed here because there was a fireworks event. Although the launch site was a bit far, the view was beautiful. However, when I asked about the fireworks, the staff seemed uninterested or unsure. Since it’s a special annual event, having more information would have been appreciated. It was also unclear whether there was parking available nearby; being from out of town made it hard to figure out. When I tried parking at Fruit Park, both lots 1 and 2 were full, so I had to return. The Room for three people turned out to be Japanese-style tatami; it would have been nice if there were Rooms with extra beds available instead. As for the bathroom area, having a separate toilet would be preferable—many Hotels are adopting this layout recently. The café’s parfaits were slightly pricey but luxurious and satisfying. They feature seasonal specialties, so I’d love to try them again in autumn!

Impressed and grateful for the excellent teamwork among the staff.

Since 2012, this has been our go-to Hotel during the peach, plum, and grape harvest seasons. This time, my wife injured her left arm and had limited mobility, making our trip a bit inconvenient. We had dinner at "La Collina," enjoying Western cuisine; however, she couldn't use a knife and fork simultaneously. When we entered the restaurant, a staff member kindly said, "I heard about your injury on your left arm... If you'd like, we can cut the food for you." Each dish was carefully prepared so that it could be eaten with just a fork. This thoughtful gesture was made despite the restaurant being nearly full on a weekday and the staff being very busy in both the dining area and kitchen. Why such consideration? Upon reflection, I realized that I had mentioned in the comment section when completing our Reservation that my wife’s left hand lacked strength due to an injury. The reservation team passed this information to the front desk staff who then informed the restaurant team to ensure we could enjoy our stay comfortably. I was deeply impressed by how well-coordinated their teamwork was and how it resulted in such an enjoyable dining experience for us. Thank you very much! As I’ve felt before during previous stays at Fruit Park Fujiya Hotel, their staff always think about "how to make guests feel comfortable" and respond flexibly with optimal solutions. This must be part of their long-standing tradition as an esteemed Hotel with rich history and culture. It is truly one of my favorite Hotels where I always feel at ease!

    I arrived early and ...

I arrived early and completed the check-in process, but I was told the room would be ready around ◯ o'clock. When I went to pick up the key at that time, the front desk mentioned that the room had been cleaned. However, upon arriving at the room, it was still messy and being cleaned. Is there a lack of proper communication? I've stayed at many accommodations before, but this was a first for me. While having breakfast, my chopsticks were taken away even though there were still side dishes left on my plate. This happened after only about 10–15 minutes since starting my meal. Without chopsticks, I couldn't eat what was left. The public bath had a strong chlorine smell. Overall, various aspects of service were disappointing. The location is excellent for this hotel.

    The view was fantastic.

The building is somewhat old, but the Room and bath were clean. As a Resort Hotel, I thought it was excellent. I hope it will continue to operate in the future. The panoramic view of Kofu Basin and the majestic Mount Fuji was breathtaking during the day, and the sparkling night view left a lasting impression. Since it is called "Fruit Park," how about serving an assortment of Yamanashi's famous fruits for dinner? (Offering it for an additional charge is also fine.)

    High-quality parfaits!

The facility is old but clean. The view is good, though not as exceptional as many reviews suggest. (It might leave a different impression during clear weather and when Mount Fuji is snow-capped.) The location of the outdoor smoking area should be reconsidered. It’s along the pathway from the parking lot to the hotel entrance, so arriving guests are exposed to cigarette smoke, which can be unpleasant. The seasonal fruit parfait served at the hotel café was outstanding. (During my visit, it was a peach parfait.)

    Peach Parfait

Peach parfait season has started, so I stayed the night before to be the first to try it. On the day, I enjoyed peaches and Hoto noodles with my friend. We were given a ride back to the Hotel and made cute ballpoint pens together. It felt like going back to childhood—it was so much fun! As always, I relaxed in the Onsen, admired the beautiful night view, and had a peaceful sleep. For breakfast, I had my favorite cheese omelet. And then... The peach parfait starting today! A large peach with its skin on—absolutely delicious! I want to come back at least three more times for this peach parfait. The always-smiling staff truly bring comfort and joy—thank you so much!

    Thank you for your patronage.

Stayed during the weekday summer SALE and had a wonderful experience. The check-in service, meal quality, and flavors were all exceptional, providing top-notch hospitality that left both my husband and me extremely satisfied. Although the women's outdoor bath did not offer a view, the water quality was excellent. I enjoyed soaking while admiring the charming garden flowers and sky. The lukewarm bath was also delightful! Unfortunately, we couldn't see Mount Fuji during our stay, but we were thrilled to witness a stunning double rainbow after a brief rain shower (the real thing is far more breathtaking than any photo!). We look forward to staying here again in the future!

    Excellent

This is about my fourth stay. This time, I chose a Japanese-style Room for the first time, and it was amazing! (Of course, the Western-style Rooms are great too.) The staff's service, the cleanliness of the Room, the meals, and the location—all were perfect for us. We will definitely come back again!

Previously, I stayed at the Fujiya Hotel in Hakone and had a very pleasant experience, so I decided to stay at the Fujiya Hotel here in Yamanashi as well. The exterior and lobby were stylish and exciting. The view was wonderful. I was also satisfied with the meals. Thank you very much!

We recommend this hotel when staying in Yamanashi City!

We booked this hotel while searching for accommodation near Yamanashi City for a mother-daughter trip. Since it was my birthday, my mother informed the hotel about it, and after dinner, I received a surprise. Every staff member we passed warmly said "Congratulations" to me. I have stayed at ryokans and hotels booked through IKYU.com before with birthday surprises, but this was the first time every single staff member greeted me like this. It made me truly happy. Everyone had a smile on their face, and the hospitality and service from all the staff were exceptional. We chose Western cuisine for our meal, which was delicious, allowing us to enjoy an elegant day. There is a beautiful grand staircase right at the entrance, and both the night view and scenery are romantic. Highly recommended!

    Excellent service, meals, and views.

We stayed at the accommodation on a weekday as a family of four, ranging in age from 40s to 80s. Since it was a one-night, two-day stay (Wednesday and Thursday), most other guests were of similar age, allowing us to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time. It might also be suitable for workations. Wanting to relax and chat, we chose a Japanese-Western style room for four people. The room had a three-seater sofa and four single sofas, providing plenty of space to unwind. The view from the room was spectacular; we enjoyed breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and its surroundings from check-in to check-out. Dinner was Japanese cuisine—everything was delicious and carefully prepared. As it was my birthday, I requested sparkling wine, and they surprised us with "Happy Birthday" written on the dessert plate along with music played by an Orgel box—a thoughtful gesture that made our evening special. The portion sizes were just right for our group but might feel slightly small for younger men. The American breakfast in the morning featured fresh salad, perfectly cooked omelets tailored to our preferences, and crispy croissants that were delightful. If I may add one suggestion—the toast could have been more unique or artisanal. The prepaid card system allowed us to enjoy wine freely at 500 yen per glass; the wine was excellent! Highly recommended for wine lovers. Oh, and the bath left our skin feeling smooth—it was very refreshing! Lastly, every staff member—from the bell staff who welcomed us to those at reception and in the restaurant—provided exceptional service that made our stay truly enjoyable. We will definitely return!

Spectacular views from the Hotel! Fruit Park is also fun!

We stayed to celebrate a special occasion. The anniversary service was provided as well, and it was truly wonderful. Due to the weather, we could only see Mt. Fuji for a short time, but the view from the Hotel and our Room on the hill was also amazing. The Fruit Park within walking distance from the Hotel has plenty of places for children to play. By chance, they were also offering a cherry-picking experience, and we enjoyed our first cherry picking together as a family! This is a Hotel we would love to stay at again.

Access to the Fruit Park was as convenient as being within the premises, and the scenery both inside and outside the Hotel was stunning.

    Blissful Moments

While searching for accommodation the day before, I happened to come across this hotel. Without much thought, I decided to visit, and it turned out to be a rare hotel that made me want to return in a different season. The interior does not feature modern designs following current trends. Likely built around the bubble era, it showcases high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship from that time, evoking nostalgia with its sense of elegance and timeless charm. Everything was impeccably clean and polished (the attention to detail in cleaning the water facilities was particularly impressive), making it feel as though the deep affection for the building and care for guests were embodied throughout. The staff's hospitality was warm and heartfelt rather than formal, allowing me to experience the essence of true "omotenashi" that I had long forgotten. I chose Japanese cuisine for my meal; it was flavorful with seasonal presentation—a delight both visually and gastronomically. With breathtaking views right before my eyes, I enjoyed a serene moment of reflection thanks entirely to the efforts of all staff members. Thank you so much!

    Thank you very much.

I had a relaxing time catching up with my friend after a long while. Unfortunately, Mount Fuji was mostly hidden by clouds, so we could only see a little of it. We also enjoyed visiting the famous "First Kiss" pilgrimage spot. As a suggestion, it would be great if body sponges or body towels could be added to the amenities.

    Very satisfied.

It was our first time visiting Yamanashi with our children. Although it rained on the day, the staff's attentive service and their kind interaction with the kids made us forget about the weather. We enjoyed the Onsen both in the morning and at night, and the view of Mt. Fuji in the morning was absolutely stunning. For meals, we had Western cuisine for dinner and Japanese cuisine for breakfast, both of which were delicious and satisfying. With Fuefukigawa Fruit Park nearby, this Hotel is an excellent choice for families with children. We look forward to staying here again when we visit Yamanashi next time.

    I was extremely satisfied.

I accidentally reserved a hotel that was used as a filming location for a movie I watched in early March, but my stay was completely satisfying. The staff's polite service, choice of words, smiles, and attentiveness truly reflected the spirit of Japanese hospitality. The facility, guest rooms, and restaurant were all impeccably clean, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I believe the most important factors in a hotel's cost performance are its service quality and staff professionalism. Thanks to this, I had a wonderful trip. Next time, I would like to visit with my daughter’s family. Thank you for your hospitality!

A comfortable Hotel where quality and affordability coexist.

My first stay was in 2012. Since then, despite a break due to COVID-19, I have stayed at this Hotel many times, especially during the harvest season for peaches, grapes, and plums. This time, I stayed with three generations of my family for the first time, including my 2-and-a-half-year-old grandchild. We had dinner at "La Collina," and I was worried that my grandchild might cry or cause a disturbance to others. Fortunately, that didn’t happen; however, as time passed, the child became restless and sat on their mother’s lap. At that moment, a female staff member who has assisted us several times before quietly brought over coloring books and pencils without saying a word. My grandchild became engrossed in coloring while we adults could enjoy our meal peacefully. Later on, when I thanked the male staff member who served us for their kindness during dinner service, he said: "Course meals take time and children can get bored easily. We try to assist so parents can enjoy their meals comfortably." Despite being a high-class Hotel, it felt warm and approachable like a family restaurant in its hospitality. This is just one example of how thoughtful gestures from both front desk and restaurant staff make Fruit Park Fujiya Hotel such an inviting place where you feel truly at home. Thank you always!

    Spontaneous Trip

We have often visited Katsunuma as a family, and when our daughters were little, we came to the Fruit Park. Since then, I had always wanted to stay at this Hotel. On Sunday morning, my wife and I suddenly decided to go somewhere and quickly searched around Yamanashi. That’s when we found Fujiya Hotel and booked it immediately. The building is slightly old but well-maintained, and the staff were all kind and attentive, allowing us to truly relax. We strolled through a park full of memories, took photos with Mount Fuji in the background, enjoyed strawberry parfaits, and had a wonderful breakfast that was both delightful and delicious. When leaving by car from the Hotel, they waved us off until our car was out of sight. We would love to visit again someday. Thank you very much!
