    Stable and reliable accommodation

    I have stayed here several times, and each time the cleaning is very thorough, and the staff's service is polite, making it a hotel where I can stay with peace of mind. The availability of bathrobes is also convenient. The Diamond benefits such as late check-out and free drinks are very much appreciated. Its proximity to the station makes it easily accessible, and the calm atmosphere makes me want to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Through the Connection of Oshima Tsumugi

    I stayed in a room where the headboard, cushions, and lampshade were made with Oshima Tsumugi fabric. Coincidentally, the dress I was wearing was also repurposed from an Oshima Tsumugi kimono. I felt a deep connection. When I shared this with the staff member who checked me in, they were delighted to hear it. The dinner was prepared with care using ingredients from Kagoshima and was absolutely delicious. All the staff members were very kind and provided heartfelt hospitality. Thank you for taking such good care of me. It was a wonderful stay that helped me recover from summer fatigue.

    Business Hotel for Travelers

    I tried the afternoon tea, but it was disappointing and below expectations. The Hotel itself gives a strong impression of being a Business Hotel for travelers, especially the lounge, where the chair arrangement felt awkward. Bread was provided, but some guests (not Japanese) took more than necessary, and there were no plates available, which was very inconvenient. This might be because there is no staff stationed in the lounge.

    The Room was great.

    The Room was very satisfying in terms of view and size. I found the speaker difficult to use; a simple Bluetooth option would have been better, and the lighting was dim. The room service menu had limited options. The front desk staff were very kind. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

    Just right

    Stayed here due to nearby errands. The room felt a bit small. However, since the bedroom and living room were separate, I was able to enjoy a relaxed dinner through room service. The lounge was also comfortable, allowing for a leisurely and free atmosphere. The service was not excessive but just right, making it easy to stay casually. One point: the shower curtain had a slight odor. It would also be nice if bathrobes were provided.

    Given the high expectations...

    As an IKYU Diamond Member benefit, it was great to have access to the drinks in the refrigerator. The amenities were also well-equipped. However, the dust in the room's ventilation ducts, black mold on the air conditioner and shower holder, and weak water pressure from the shower were disappointing for a 4-star hotel.

    Extraordinary

    The Room faced the patio, allowing for a peaceful and quiet stay. It was a bit disappointing that Wi-Fi and mobile signals were out of range; improvement in this area would be appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, and I also enjoyed sparkling wine. I would love to stay here again.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I stayed in a corner room and had an amazing stay. The view was fantastic not only at night but also in the morning and evening. The bathroom facilities were very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. I thought it offered excellent value for money.

    Stayed for the first time in over 10 years.

    I stayed here occasionally nearly 20 years ago. This time, I was looking for a hotel in Tokyo for some errands and decided to stay again after a long time. As expected, the location was not noisy with tourists. In the evening, I enjoyed the bar on the first floor, and in the morning, I took it easy without adding breakfast to my stay but relaxed at the patio and lounge. Please note that Tully's is closed on weekends. The staff at both the bar and front desk provided excellent service, allowing me to have a relaxing time. In the past, there used to be a unique aroma near the elevators which I miss now as it's no longer there. Since I went out in the evening this time, I booked a small room but enjoyed my stay with late check-out for extra relaxation. I'll visit again!

    For couples

    We stayed for 2 nights as a couple. We chose it for its location and cost, but it turned out to be better than expected. The Room was not spacious, but it was clean, and the staff were courteous. The parking also had discounts, which made us satisfied. We would like to stay here again.

    Great value for money!

    It was my first stay, and I was very satisfied. The room facilities were great. I used the spa, and it was reasonably priced and easy to use. I didn’t include breakfast this time, but I’d like to try it next time. I had lunch at the restaurant next to the lobby, which was reasonably priced and delicious. Access from the station, which I was most concerned about, turned out to be no problem at all. Overall, it was a very cost-effective hotel. I would definitely like to stay again!

    This service at this price is outstanding!

    Spacious room, quiet environment, and access to the lounge on the 14th floor where soft drinks and alcohol could be enjoyed. Usually, only guests staying on premium or club floors can use the lounge, but it was open to everyone. This was my third stay, and it was comfortable and excellent. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I had a very comfortable stay.

    I always have a very comfortable stay, but this time, as it was Tanabata Day, I enjoyed somen noodles and amazake while listening to a shinobue flute performance, which was incredibly soothing. Despite the extremely hot day leaving me physically exhausted, it turned out to be an especially pleasant stay. Thank you so much.

    Check-in takes too long.

    It had been a long time since check-in took this much time. Despite it being a weekday in June with only a few people in line, the process for assisting foreign guests took far too long. Additionally, there were very few seats available to wait while sitting, and those behind me also seemed frustrated as they waited. I believe the Hotel should urgently consider smoother check-in methods. Furthermore, when making the Reservation over the phone, I confirmed about the casting function; however, when trying to use it in the Room, it didn’t connect. Waiting for staff assistance and redoing initial settings caused about an hour and a half of wasted time between check-in and setup issues. The lounge was nearly empty with very few users; it would have been nice if we could have checked in comfortably in that space instead. While the staff worked hard and provided polite service, I felt that this Hotel could improve by considering its services more from the perspective of its guests.

    I was able to relax with the spa and oil massage.

    Once again, I was reminded that everything comes down to people. At check-in, the first staff member (a foreign employee) suddenly showed me a calculator and demanded 400 yen, which was shocking. I asked if it was the Accommodation Tax. A Japanese staff member was supporting from behind, so I assumed they were still in training or that this is unavoidable with inbound guests—but since this is Japan, I would like foreign staff to be better supported and trained as well. They also handed me a “special occasion” card without even folding it; please teach them proper etiquette for handing it over. This time we came as a couple mainly for the spa and an oil massage, and the two therapists who assisted us were truly sincere and professional, which we really appreciated. Also, from the corner room you can see Tokyo Tower!

    As Expected of The Celestine

    The lounge offers an almost overseas atmosphere. With its ambiance and excellent value for money, it's one of the hotels you'd hesitate to share with others. When I mentioned feeling unwell in the morning, the staff responded kindly, allowing me to have a productive workday.

    There were some surp...

    There were some surprising experiences not found in other Hotels (such as no confirmation of check-out time, no mention of the Room number, and re-confirmation of membership benefits). During check-out, repeated apologies were made, which made me feel quite embarrassed due to all the confirmations. Additionally, despite requesting a slightly larger amount of bath salts, only two were provided. However, the meals were delicious, and the Room was very clean and comfortable for a relaxing stay until check-out time. I hope to visit again someday once things settle down.

    This was my first time using this service. I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but they prepared the Room immediately, allowing me to rest comfortably after a tiring journey. The front desk staff were all very friendly and responded to my requests with smiles, which made me truly satisfied. I will definitely use this service again.

    About Parking Fees

    I stayed on April 28. At check-in, I was charged a parking fee, which surprised me a little. This is because I had never been asked for a parking fee before, and there was no mention of it on the IKYU.com site where I made the reservation. Although I was confused, I paid the amount as instructed at that time. Later, just to be sure, I checked the official website and confirmed that the parking fee was clearly mentioned there. However, since I only referred to IKYU.com when making my reservation, I did not realize there would be a parking fee. At check-out, I shared this with the front desk staff and requested that "it would be helpful if the parking fee could also be mentioned on IKYU.com."

    Satisfied with my stay after a long time.

    It was my first visit in a while since the COVID-19 pandemic. I requested my favorite Room, which I had enjoyed during previous stays, and they kindly accommodated my request. The staff's warm and friendly smiles were truly delightful. I plan to stay again in the future.

    Great location. Alth...

    Great location. Although the room did not have a view of Tokyo Tower, the night view from the high floor was stunning. The room is compact but does not feel cramped. However, I must admit that I might be accustomed to the size of accommodations in Tokyo (I was surprised when an international guest at check-in requested an upgrade because they found their room too small). Breakfast was enjoyable with options like chicken rice reflecting Kyushu flavors, freshly baked bread from Maison Kayser, and champagne. The staff in the dining hall were attentive and quick to clear empty dishes. I did not use the spa facilities, so my rating for the bath is 3. I would love to stay again if given another opportunity. Thank you!
