    The reception servic...

    The reception service was excellent, which made me return. However, for those traveling by car, it can be a bit challenging as there are no reasonably priced parking options and many one-way streets. If not for that, I would highly recommend it. I will use this place again on my next business trip!

    Comfortable with late check-out

    This is my second stay in a short period. The first time was at the end of the year, and I was so impressed by the comfort that I chose the same Royal Pines Hotel in my next destination (the capital area). Last time, I gave it 5 stars, but this time there was a slight water leak from the Room's faucet. Although it might be inevitable due to age, it caught my attention. That said, with a late standard checkout, you can truly relax when you're not in a hurry the next day. You can also enjoy sleeping in luxuriously. It's a bit of a distance from the station, but you can enjoy welcoming views of beautiful streets along the way; I'd definitely like to repeat my stay here again.

    It's a pity that there are few non-smoking rooms.

    We used the facility for a family gathering before and after a child's wedding. It was difficult to make a reservation due to the limited number of non-smoking rooms. We couldn't secure one through the official site, so we used various sites to somehow complete the reservation. The facility is generally old, and the elevator had a strong smell of tobacco, which was unpleasant. There were no USB ports or outlets by the bedside, so we charged our gadgets using a single extension cord provided on the desk. It would be more comfortable if there were a few more outlets. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

    It is spacious and nice.

    This was my second stay. I stayed on the 9th floor. Although the view was partially obstructed by the building, I could see a bit of Mt. Fuji. The Room was spacious and convenient to use. The TV was also large. However, the towels had a strange smell when wet. It was the same last time, so I informed the front desk, and they mentioned it might be a chemical reaction. Still, it’s a smell I’ve never encountered before, and I wonder why it only happens at this Hotel. Other than that, everything was good.

    I was able to spend a relaxing time.

    Stayed for 2 nights on my second stay. Since my schedule was uncertain, I made separate reservations for each night, but they treated it as a multiple night stay and upgraded my room. The hotel is classical and not new, and the plumbing is aged, but it was clean. The artificial scent when entering the room felt a bit strong, so I would prefer it to be more subdued. I had high expectations for breakfast due to its good reputation, but it wasn't particularly special. The omelet with American sauce was delicious. The variety of vegetables and toppings for the salad was abundant, and the display was stylish, which was delightful for salad lovers. It's a hotel I would like to use again.

    Although the facility shows signs of aging, considering the accommodation fee, I was able to spend my time very comfortably. I was upgraded and could see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the room.

    Sunset point.

    The room offers a view extending to Mount Fuji, and the sunset time was magnificent. The functionality as a city hotel is sufficient, and it was very comfortable.

    Is this really the hospitality industry...?

    In a typical hotel in a regional city, it is not new, but the room was clean, equipped with necessary items, and although I didn't spend much time in the room, it was comfortable without inconvenience. I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but I felt a lack of friendliness from the front desk, which I don't usually feel at other hotels, and there was no explanation of the diamond benefits at all. Regarding that person, I thought maybe they were busy. However, after that, when I called to inquire after checking out, the person who responded was unbelievably rude in their language and manner of speaking. It didn't feel like a hotel.

    Re-educate the staff!!

    This was my second time using this hotel. During my first stay, I didn't have a very good experience either, but the breakfast left a good impression, so I decided to stay again. However, I was once again surprised by the staff's response during this stay. When I called the front desk and asked for some supplies to be brought to my room, I was shocked by the poor attitude of the staff member who brought them. I had asked for an extension cord to be hung on the door, but not only was it placed carelessly, it was slammed against the door with a loud bang, and the staff member acted as if nothing had happened. When I asked for their name, they brushed me off with a defensive "I didn't do anything wrong" and returned to their cleaning duties. This is the first time I've encountered such behavior from hotel staff during a stay. This attitude towards customers is simply unacceptable. What kind of training is the hotel providing? The staff member was a foreigner, but this is not an issue of not knowing manners. I urge the hotel to properly re-educate their staff to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities when working in a hotel!

    It feels a bit upscale.

    I have used it several times, but I think it is a bit expensive for the price. If it is in Tokyo, I think there are better Rooms available. Also, depending on the availability on the day, I don't think the services such as discounted upgrades are sufficient. Lastly, this time I wanted to go in and out several times, so I didn't use the underground parking and used the front entrance, but the poles in front of the entrance and the hassle of moving them give the impression that it is not meant to be used.

    First Stays in Urawa

    The front desk service is excellent. I bought a cake on the 1st floor as a souvenir, and the service there was also good. (The cake is delicious too) The disappointing point is that the stains on the floor and the chairs in the guest room are noticeable.

    Refresh with a solo stay once a month.

    Although I am busy with work and caregiving every day, I reward myself by staying at Pines for one night every month to refresh! I have lunch at Isetan, shop, buy Nadaman bento & cake for dinner at B1, and relax in the room. I enjoy 24 hours of freedom and get ready to work hard again from tomorrow. Solo activities without worrying about anyone are blissful times. By the way, when having lunch with friends, it's at "Tempura Arakawa" in the Hotel. The freshly fried tempura at the counter is incredibly delicious and highly recommended.

    Simple, quiet, spacious

    It was quiet and very relaxing. The entire Hotel and the Room were clean and spacious, a simple city Hotel. Amenities and supplies can be selected next to the front desk, simple and efficient like a Business Hotel. There is no convenience store near the Hotel.

    The cleaning of the Room is good, and the front desk service is also nice. There is no trash bin in the bathroom anymore, and instead, there are two trash bins in the Room, but for someone who knows the previous state, it is a bit inconvenient to have to throw away tissues used in the bathroom into the trash bin next to the desk in the Room.

    Room cleaning

    I used the property for an event at Saitama Shintoshin. First of all, the room was not properly cleaned. There were countless hairs stuck near the ceiling of the bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant. There was also a sticky residue from a drink container on the bedside table. It made me doubt whether they were cleaning properly. The free amenities available in the lobby to bring to the room could just as well be placed in the room if they are of that level. It seems they intend to reduce waste, but isn't it counterproductive? There was only one room key per room, which was very inconvenient for two people staying. I requested an additional key at the lobby, but the card key ended up not working due to an error. It was a stay that left me feeling uneasy until the end. I'm not sure if it's a business hotel or a higher rank, but compared to hotels in Tokyo, the hospitality is too low. It might have been many years since it was built, but this is a different issue from the hotel's age. Improvement is needed.

    Stayed for the purpose of trying the Danish bread.

    The breakfast was overall good! The restaurant staff, including the elderly person in charge of clearing tables (sorry for mentioning age), were brisk and pleasant, and the other staff were also great!
