    I had a very pleasant stay again. The front desk staff were great, with warm greetings and friendly smiles. The parking lot is also spacious, and I can always find a spot, which is reassuring.

    About Front Desk Services

    We have used this property several times for my son’s family when they come back to visit. This time, the mother was holding a newborn baby, so my son had to carry the stroller, a backpack, a large bag, and many other items by himself. He said there were several staff members at the front desk, but he was disappointed that no one offered any assistance. He hadn’t minded before even without luggage delivery service to the Room, but I believe staff should be attentive to whether guests may need help. As the parent who made the Reservation, I felt sorry about it.

    They accommodated my request for the Room I wanted.

    Every time, I request a Room on the Urawa Station side, and this time again you accommodated my request. It seems I mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking Room this time, but since I always stay in a non-smoking Room, you changed it to non-smoking and provided the Room I wanted, which was very helpful.

    I have stayed here several times before and had a comfortable experience with no particular issues. However, this time, right after entering the Room, I noticed several hairs on the carpeted floor. It wasn’t filthy, but it felt like the cleaning hadn’t been thorough. The bathroom also had heavy grime in recessed areas such as around the built-in soap dish. It isn’t noticeable from above, but it was clearly visible from the eye level of someone soaking in the bathtub. Up to that point, I could accept it as something that can happen in an older Hotel. The real issue was being bitten by mites. I had one bite on my arm and two on my thigh; swelling started from the night after checkout, and intense itching continued for several days. This stay was to accompany a family member for hospitalization and surgery, so I did not stop anywhere other than the Hotel and hospital. The only travel involved was about 20 minutes each by a relative’s car and by bus. If it had happened at the hospital, there would likely have been many other victims and it would have caused a major commotion. Since I also couldn’t completely rule out being bitten at home before or after my stay, I lived normally for several days without using insecticides or extermination products; however, no additional bites appeared beyond those three locations. To make clear this is not an unfounded accusation: my stay was in late July, I noted down the Room number, and I still have photos of the bite marks. The reason for posting a little later rather than immediately after my stay is that I wanted to verify whether it could have happened somewhere other than your Hotel. I used to find this place convenient whenever I had business in Urawa, so this is truly disappointing. I will need to look for another Hotel.

    Thank you for your continued support. The parking lot is spacious and easy to use, which is very convenient. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I think it’s a very good Hotel. I’d like to stay again.

    A well-regarded Hotel in the neighborhood

    This is a spaciously designed city Hotel. When it first opened, I remember the excitement of “A luxury Hotel has come to town!” At the time there were no nearby high-rise buildings, so I recall it being the tallest building around. Decades have passed, but its refined sense of luxury has not changed. My Room was upgraded from a single to a twin—thank you very much. About once a year for a staycation, I book the 24-hour stay Plan with parking included. The bathroom is larger than usual and very relaxing. It’s also a nice touch that bath salts are provided. One drawback is that only limited floors have vending machines, and it’s hard to find where they are located. There was mineral water in the refrigerator, but buying drinks can be inconvenient. The nearest convenience store is a FamilyMart just around the back and a short walk away. Depending on which side your Room faces, the view is completely different between the Tokyo side and the Omiya side. From the Tokyo side, I could even see Mt. Fuji in the distance. There are also restaurants and a bakery inside the Hotel. The Japanese, Chinese, French options and cake shop are slightly upscale but very delicious. There are many places within walking distance outside as well, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. This is one of the few Hotels in the prefecture where you can truly enjoy a Hotel stay—not just sleep for business travel. I will definitely stay again.

    Relax and unwind at your own pace.

    I stayed again because my last visit was great. I’m always happy to stay in a spacious, lovely Room. I could spend my time freely and relax in the large bath with a yuzu-scented bath additive. The Room lighting and the large mirror are wonderful as well. Having a variety of shops to choose from on the floor below is also one of the highlights.

    I stay here every time.

    Since my son’s family lives in Urawa, I always stay here when visiting Urawa. The Facilities are a bit dated, but compared with Hotels in central Tokyo, it’s more affordable and spacious. The breakfast buffet is tasty and thoughtfully prepared for a Hotel of this size. I also had Chinese food for lunch and dinner; it was delicious and the service was excellent. I will continue to use this Hotel whenever I stay in Urawa.

    The Facility itself ...

    The Facility itself is a bit old, but it was well maintained and clean, so the stay was comfortable. Everyone at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping was friendly and welcoming with a smile. Breakfast (Michela) was great—the fluffy omelet made right in front of you was delicious. There was also a wide variety of bread, and the Chinese-style rice porridge was very tasty. The Amaou strawberry parfait at the café (Lamora) was also excellent. The location goes without saying: right by the station, with Isetan, PARCO, and a shopping street nearby—lively and convenient for exploring on foot. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Everything was great except for the hair dryer!

    The hair dryer only worked on a very hot setting with weak airflow, so it was hard to dry my hair. Especially if you have long hair, I think it will take quite a while. Other than that, the interior was very clean and luxurious, and I really enjoyed my stay. All the staff were polite, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance!

    Had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed here the night before my child's junior high school entrance exam. Although I had chosen a Plan without breakfast, the staff kindly informed me at check-in that breakfast would be available early enough to accommodate the exam schedule, which was very thoughtful and heartwarming. From the Room, I could see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, making for an auspicious morning. I had a very comfortable stay.

    It was very comfortable.

    After reserving a Multiple Night Stay for 3 nights, my plans extended, and I added another night a few days later. At check-in on the first day, the front desk staff kindly arranged for me to stay in the same Room for the 4th night as well. Thanks to this, I didn’t need to move my belongings and was able to focus on work while feeling at home. I truly appreciated it. The daily cleaning was thorough, and returning at night felt refreshing and pleasant. As always, the spacious Room is calming, clean, free of unnecessary items, and very comfortable.     The overall Facility is outdated, with insufficient attention to air conditioning and power supply. Security measures were also inadequate. It was disappointing as the staff's service was excellent.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. The front desk staff were very polite, and I was able to relax as my room was upgraded. Although the water facilities felt slightly dated, they were well-maintained and clean. The room was also clean, allowing me to stay with peace of mind.     The meals were delicious.

    We stayed overnight for my grandchild's Shichi-Go-San celebration. The building and facilities are comparable to a Business Hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and Chinese cuisine for lunch. Perhaps because we had no expectations, both were very delicious. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the chef prepared omelets individually right in front of us, giving it a nice Hotel stay feel. Compared to Tokyo, the price is more affordable, and there is plenty of space, so I plan to stay here again when visiting my son's family.
