    Unfortunately.

    Despite being named "Premier Hotel," there is no sense of premium quality; the interior is poor, the chairs are uncomfortable, and although the view is nice, it is disappointing.

    The room was clean with an amazing view, and the lounge service was relaxing. However, although it looked very clean, the bathtub felt a bit rough to the touch, which bothered me. Other than that, I was satisfied. I would love to stay again.

    Location, building, cuisine, and staff - excellent!

    Arriving at Kitakyushu Airport from Tokyo (Haneda Airport), I took the limousine bus to Kokura Station and then the Kagoshima Main Line to Mojiko Station, the third stop. The station itself had a charming atmosphere, and I was completely captivated by the exotic streetscape. And what's more, it's just a 2-minute walk from the station. The entrance, straight ahead without any confusion, resembled boarding a grand cruise ship. The front desk staff warmly welcomed me as I checked in and headed straight to the Club Lounge. Enjoying a light glass of wine there, I proceeded to an Italian restaurant for dinner. The food was delicious! Chatting with the staff was delightful too; my Room was spacious with an amazing view from the window—everything was perfect! At breakfast, I was guided to my table by someone who recommended dishes that I ended up trying—all of which were absolutely delicious. Both the building's design and interior decor were stunning; combined with excellent service and cuisine, it made for an unforgettable stay! Thank you so much for your hospitality—I would love to visit again soon!

    The view was excellent.

    Stopped by on the way to watch a baseball game at PayPay Dome. It was a special Plan due to air conditioning construction, but we didn't feel any impact from the work and were very satisfied with the affordable stay. This time, we took our time exploring Shimonoseki and Moji, which we often just pass through, and enjoyed Italian cuisine for dinner. The scenery of Moji's town and port is quite unique.

    Delicious breakfast!

    Great location with stunning views of the Kanmon Strait, offering an extraordinary experience. The breakfast was exceptional! Highlights included pufferfish miso soup, omelets made with premium Oita eggs, the famous baked curry, as well as Japanese dishes like oden and salmon kasuzuke. A variety of bread and muffins were also delicious! After breakfast, enjoy watching the drawbridge open and close against the backdrop of the Kanmon Strait—a truly luxurious way to start your day.

    Hotel to Fully Enjoy Mojiko Retro

    This was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at during my previous visit to Kitakyushu. The Room on the Mojiko Retro side offered a beautiful view, and the spaciousness made for a very comfortable stay. The amenities, such as shampoo, were also excellent. Breakfast had a wide variety and tasted great; however, the layout was slightly inconvenient. During busy times, guests had to wait in long lines due to the single-line setup, and it was challenging to use the toaster located midway through the line. Additionally, coffee that could be taken back to your Room was available in the front lobby; it would have been helpful if this information had been provided earlier (I only noticed it upon departure). Another point is that since the front desk is on the 2nd floor, guests need to go up or down from the 1st floor. The elevator was hard to locate as stairs were more prominent; I noticed some guests with mobility issues using stairs instead of an elevator. While there were some minor concerns mentioned above, overall I found this Hotel satisfactory in terms of location and Facility quality for its price point. Thank you!

    First Visit to Mojiko

    I often visited Hakata, but it was my first time in Mojiko, and I was really looking forward to it. This hotel is close to the station and located by the sea, offering a wonderful night view. Both the interior of the accommodation and the room had a retro and charming atmosphere. The meals were also very delicious. I would love to stay here again when I visit Mojiko.

    The design of the Hotel and Room was beautiful.

    The accommodation is well-located for sightseeing in Moji, with great views and stylish design in both the hotel and rooms, which was very satisfying. Breakfast, though limited in variety, was delicious, including the baked curry, and the staff provided excellent service. However, there was an issue with the shower in the room. Despite a warning label on the knob about high temperatures, no matter how it was adjusted from its initial state, only extremely hot water came out that felt dangerous to use. The knob spun freely but did not change the temperature at all. After struggling with it for about 20 minutes without understanding what worked correctly, I managed to get it to a level of high heat that wouldn't cause burns and used it like that (it never became lukewarm or cold). This seems like a safety hazard for guests. Unfortunately, this left me exhausted after using the bathroom and overshadowed my overall impression of my stay.

    The location and vie...

    The location and view were excellent, the Room was clean, and the stay was very comfortable. However, regarding the Facility: - The refrigerator did not cool at all (too old). - The air conditioning could not be adjusted. - The bathroom door was frosted glass, but the shower area had a fully transparent glass door, which felt uncomfortable. - The Room was dry, but there was no humidifier available—only an air purifier. Additionally, during the breakfast buffet, staff members were constantly clearing plates as soon as something was finished on the table, which made it hard to relax. Other than these points, it was a wonderful Hotel overall.

    It was a great stay.

    As always, it was a comfortable stay. The Room was clean, with a great view, and very relaxing. If I may suggest, it would be nice to have more variety in the lounge menu.

    I was soothed by the view from the window and the attentive service.

    My first visit to Mojiko was met with decent weather. I am grateful to the Hotel staff for accommodating our various requests. I was especially looking forward to dinner, which featured steak and Italian cuisine. While some parts of the steak were a bit tough and hard to chew, the flavor was delicious and satisfying. Next time, I plan to try the filet. The pasta in the Italian meal was particularly delightful. The service during meals was excellent, making my stay very pleasant. Compared to lively Kokura, this area has a more relaxed atmosphere, allowing me to appreciate both places' unique charms. I'm glad I stayed here based on a recommendation from a friend!

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    I stayed in the Premier Strait Suite. The view of Moji Port was stunning, and I was mesmerized by the sunset, night view, and morning glow. Dinner was Italian cuisine and absolutely delicious. I was very satisfied to enjoy such wonderful food at half the price of Tokyo. The staff's service was excellent as well. Overall, it is a perfect accommodation in every aspect, and I thought it was an excellent hotel. I would love to visit again.

    Convenient for sightseeing

    The room included lounge access, making it convenient to enjoy tea after a tiring day of sightseeing. It was my first time in Moji, but the hotel was convenient for sightseeing, had great views, and became one of my favorites. There was also a delightful surprise during dinner, creating wonderful memories. Thank you to all the staff!

    First Time at Premier Hotel Mojiko

    This was my first stay at Premier Hotel Mojiko. Although I checked in after 9 PM, I wish I had checked in earlier to enjoy the hotel's facilities and retro atmosphere. The service, facilities, and room were all excellent. I chose a plan with breakfast this time, and the delicious breakfast made me eat so much that my departure was delayed. It was a hotel that I would love to use again if given the opportunity.

    This time, I stayed with a plan that included access to the club lounge. I had a very relaxing time in the comfortable room. The breakfast was also delicious.

    Highly satisfied.

    The staff's service was excellent, and the location was outstanding. The view from the room's window is great during the day, but at night it becomes even more beautiful with the lights. With Mojiko Station nearby, going out at night was very convenient. I would love to stay here again.

    The location and staff service were excellent.

    The breakfast and staff service were excellent. The location was convenient, and the night view of the strait could be beautifully seen from the Room. I also enjoyed using the lounge for a relaxing time, and despite many guests at breakfast, I was properly guided. However, there were a few concerns. The room's air conditioning temperature could not be adjusted, the shower curtain in the bathroom had a musty smell (though no visible mold), there was plastic waste on the floor of the Room on the first day, and the table felt sticky with what seemed like fingerprints. It’s unfortunate but since renovations are currently underway, I would like to stay again after it has been renewed.

    A modern Hotel in the retro port town of Moji

    I stayed for two nights in mid-February. Despite the cold wind, staff members were waiting in front of the Hotel to warmly welcome us, and both the receptionists and bellboys were very polite and kind. The Room on the strait side offered a wonderful view of the Kanmon Bridge. The bed was moderately soft, allowing for a good night's sleep. The bath was spacious, providing a relaxing experience. There is a ferry to Shimonoseki every 20 minutes nearby, so we enjoyed delicious sushi and fugu at Karato Market. Of course, there are many historical Facilities, museums, and art galleries in Moji Port as well that can be enjoyed. I definitely want to stay again.

    It was truly comfort...

    It was truly comfortable. I usually stay at a Hotel in Kokura, but I should have chosen this place much earlier. Although I checked in late, I was still able to enjoy the lounge just in time. The Room, possibly because it was a premium corner Room, was incredibly cozy. The view of the Kanmon Strait was refreshing and enjoyable. The Facility was flawless. With a checkout time of 12:00, I had plenty of time to leisurely explore the surroundings after breakfast. I would love to stay here again.

    Fun Experience

    There was a snack and drink service at check-in, and since it was a New Year's Eve stay, there was a mochi-pounding event. The freshly pounded mochi was delicious with the refreshing grated ponzu unique to Kitakyushu. I was moved by the fireworks and the first sunrise of the year that could be seen from the room! I was able to welcome a wonderful New Year, and I was glad to have a room on the retro side. One disappointment was that the ozoni was cold and not tasty. It was a hotel I would like to stay at again.

    Recommended for those who like a retro feel.

    I look forward to breakfast every time. The view from the window and the baked curry are the best. For those who don't drive, there is also a champagne service. It's an old building, but it has character. It would be nice if the bath and toilet were separate, but I think it's good to enjoy the retro atmosphere, including that. This time, the Hotel staff guided me around the station area. I felt happy to learn a little about the local history and attractions. The view from the lounge seems nice, so I will visit soon.

    It was a Hotel that satisfied in every aspect.

    I stayed at the Shark Eye Deluxe, a hotel I had always wanted to try. If I had only stayed in this room, I would have been very excited, but I had stayed in a suite the previous day... The separate bath and toilet were definitely more convenient. However, I thought this room was also good value for money. The staff were very friendly and wonderful. I would like to visit Mojiko at a different time.

    It was a Hotel and Room that could satisfy everything.

    It was a hotel that I was satisfied with in every way. This time, I stayed for two nights in different rooms, but I thought the suite on the first night was better. The hotel had a great location, making it easy to sightsee. The staff were very friendly and wonderful. The breakfast was delicious, and overall, I thought it was a very cost-effective hotel. This time, I did a lot of sightseeing, but next time, I would like to spend a relaxing time at the hotel. In that case, I would like to choose this room again. I thought about going to Mojiko (Moji Port) at a different time.

    Convenient and comfortable

    Located in the Mojiko Retro District, we were able to visit various facilities on foot. Unfortunately, the weather changed to a winter pattern on the day of our stay, with strong winds and occasional rain, but we were able to spend a comfortable time inside the hotel. From the room, we could see the city of Shimonoseki across the Kanmon Straits, and the Kanmon Bridge was also visible up close. The next morning, before checking out, we were able to see a clear semicircular rainbow over the Kanmon Bridge from the room window. It became a good memory.

    I used this Hotel for my first trip to Mojiko. It was a lovely Hotel that matched the atmosphere of the town. The breakfast was delicious, especially the baked curry, and I ended up having a lot! Unfortunately, there was an indescribable odor near the closet and washbasin in the Room, which was unbearable, so I contacted the front desk. As a result, I had to change Rooms, but the staff's response was very courteous, and they handled the unpleasant request with great sincerity. Although there was a minor issue, the service and attentiveness of the staff who assisted me and those at the breakfast venue were excellent. If I have another chance to visit Mojiko, I would like to use this Hotel again.

    If you are visiting Mojiko, this Hotel is the place to stay!

    I had been interested in it for a while because it is designed by Aldo Rossi. The access is good, making it perfect for Mojiko Retro sightseeing. I am satisfied with the Room, the interior, and the service. (There seems to be one on the premium floor, but please have a security box in the guest Room!) The breakfast was especially beyond expectations! I highly recommend this Hotel when sightseeing in Mojiko.

    A high-level pleasant Hotel!

    Upon our late arrival at 10 PM, we received support from the parking staff both at arrival and departure the next day. The explanation from the front desk staff was heartfelt, leaving us with a warm feeling. The breakfast was of exceptionally high quality, and the surprise offering of sparkling wine added to the pleasant experience. The location is very convenient for sightseeing in the center of Mojiko, and it's also ideal for taking the Kanmon ferry round trip to explore the area around Shimonoseki Karato Market.
