    My Long-Awaited Stay at The Naha Terrace

    Our annual Okinawa trip! This year, it was a girls’ trip for two. We usually stay in the north, but this time we decided to do some sightseeing mainly in the south of the main island. I had wanted to stay here for a long time, and my wish finally came true. Although it’s centrally located, once inside the Hotel we could truly feel a calm, spacious atmosphere. The hospitality was also outstanding. I had made a Reservation for a spa treatment from 3:00 PM, but there was an accident on a nearby road and we couldn’t move for almost an hour, so we ended up arriving at 4:00 PM. Even though I contacted them in advance, they welcomed us with such warm and gentle care. The spa staff were also incredibly kind and accommodating. They even helped us set up our navigation despite how busy it was, and thanks to everyone’s support we had a truly comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    A great Hotel!

    We had stayed at The Atta Terrace until the day before and it felt like heaven, so we were a bit worried about staying here in Naha—but it was excellent. The Facility shows some age, but it is carefully cleaned, so we were able to stay very comfortably. The only downside was that the bathroom felt quite small. There is a glass door on the bathtub to keep the toilet in front from getting wet, which shows just how compact the bathroom is. That was the only thing that bothered us. The pool is small; even on a hot sunny day, no one was there. The guests were calm and relaxed, and everyone spent time quietly in places like the lounge, so we—an older couple—were able to unwind as well. All staff members were cheerful and courteous throughout the Facility regardless of their role or age, and their professional Hotel service was truly pleasant. The Atta Terrace was also wonderful. In Okinawa, many newer Hotels or large-scale Hotels don’t always provide attentive service, but with this group’s Hotels, we are definitely coming back—Done. We had both dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed a course meal at the grill restaurant in an annex building, and it was delicious. For breakfast, my husband even had sirloin steak first thing in the morning. It was such a great Hotel that we genuinely didn’t want to go home.

    A Small Resort in the City

    I wanted to take it easy and spend a relaxing stay in the Hotel while in the city, so I chose The Naha Terrace, which I’d been wanting to stay at for a long time. This time we stayed for two nights in a Club Twin Room. They served drinks and hors d’oeuvres with great attention to detail, and we were able to enjoy a delicious, unhurried breakfast in the wonderfully atmospheric Fanuan. The original beer was also excellent. As expected of “Terrace,” the dedicated staff guided us very courteously from check-in to the lounge, and they were also considerate toward my daughter, which made our stay truly comfortable. Thank you for your thoughtful care. While the Room isn’t new, it was spotless down to every corner, and the amenities and in-room items were outstanding as well. Despite the stormy weather overall, we were lucky that it cleared up during the day on our second day—perfect pool weather—and we enjoyed such a relaxed time that I even found myself saying out loud that this is exactly where I wanted to stay. Next time, I’d love to combine it with Busena and enjoy about a week-long getaway. Thank you very much.

    In a quiet hilltop location, the Room felt cozy with its retro interior. The restaurant and club lounge also had an elegant atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The service quality was excellent as well—for example, staff quickly noticed when we seemed lost inside the property and offered assistance right away.

    We stayed on the Club Floor for three nights. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, but we had a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Naha.

    Thank You for Breakfast

    Because I had an early check-out on the morning of my departure, I asked to take breakfast to go. Unfortunately, due to an issue on the Hotel’s side, I was unable to receive it that day, but the Hotel manager kindly sent a pound cake to my parents’ home instead. Thank you very much for your thoughtful consideration. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

    Staying at Terrace h...

    Staying at Terrace holds a special meaning for me. No matter how many times I return, I am always embraced by the same sense of peace and a refined atmosphere. While my heart was in deep sorrow, the calm space of Terrace and the quiet moments in the club lounge gently surrounded me, and I felt myself slowly begin to unwind. I believe it is a place where simply spending time amid attentive hospitality and an elegant ambience helps restore one’s peace of mind.     An excellent Hotel.

    It was my first stay, and it was an elegant, wonderful Hotel that exceeded my expectations. We had access to the club lounge, where we could enjoy afternoon tea at a relaxed pace, and in the evening unwind with hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Breakfast was also very delicious. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    We made a Reservation for three Rooms for six family members and one child. We felt welcomed by the relaxing touches, such as lounge check-in and welcome fruit and flowers in the connecting Rooms. At breakfast, we were slightly concerned about how roughly one of the staff handled the tableware. Overall, it felt like a wonderful Hotel. We would like to stay again.

    I love spending my l...

    I love spending my last day in Okinawa at The Naha Terrace. The Room and the entire Hotel are clean and comfortable. The lounge is also beautifully maintained, with just the right level of food service, and the staff provide courteous service, allowing me to relax in comfort. During tea time, I was told, “The whipped cream is light, so adding plenty makes the scones even tastier.” I ended up taking not only extra cream but also more scones than I intended, and my plate looked a bit messy—but it was truly delicious as advised. At aperitif time, they serve a perfectly sized one-plate selection of tasty dishes. I shopped at Rogers in the shop, had dinner at La Sima, and enjoyed a Japanese breakfast at Manakaze—once again, it was a wonderful stay. In my free time, I revisited the Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum just a short walk away and took my time exploring this visit. It took a little longer than expected to reach the airport by taxi on my final day, but fortunately my flight departure was delayed by 10 minutes, so I could take it easy at the airport as well. Since this stay was close to my birthday, thank you very much for the small gift again. The Naha Terrace is a wonderful Hotel where everything is well organized and you can feel安心 throughout your stay.

    We had a pleasant stay.

    This is my third year staying here in a row. The building is old and the bathroom isn’t the most convenient, but it’s well maintained, and I loved the slightly resort-like design. The welcome sweets were a nice touch. Breakfast was great, with plenty of main dishes to choose from. I also had dinner at Ryutan, and for a Hotel teppanyaki restaurant, I felt the balance of price and quality was very good. The chef didn’t talk much, so it felt a bit awkward and not quite like a typical teppanyaki experience. I also appreciated being able to use the shuttle bus to Busena Terrace. I’d love to stay again.

    I previously visited...

    I previously visited The Naha Terrace for a friend’s wedding, and this time I stayed overnight. Returning to a place filled with memories felt special in itself, and I was once again reminded of the hotel’s consistently refined hospitality. Although I arrived late, the calm and attentive service eased my travel fatigue. When I got lost while heading out, a staff member discreetly checked in on me, and that natural warmth and thoughtfulness left a lasting impression. In the serene atmosphere and sophisticated setting, I was able to truly relax. It was a wonderful stay that added another cherished memory, and one I would love to experience again.

    Attentive hospitality and an exceptionally comfortable stay

    I have stayed at The Busena Terrace before, but this was my first time at Naha Terrace. I could truly feel the same excellent service philosophy shared by both. [Guest Room and Facilities] It was a standard twin room, but it felt spacious and comfortable, with high-quality bedding that made for a very relaxing stay. One point to note: the shower was used inside the bathtub, so I would have preferred a separate shower booth. Also, this is just personal preference, but it would have been even better if the bidet toilet had been made by TOTO. [Service and Dining] All staff were calm and attentive, offering support with an ideal sense of distance—present when needed without being intrusive. Even when I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up while working, they left a message around noon to confirm housekeeping, and I was impressed that they were able to come in promptly in time for my 3 p.m. outing. The Japanese breakfast was excellent in both portion size and seasoning—delicious and gentle on the body. On my final day I checked out in the 6 a.m. hour, and since the restaurant wasn’t open yet, they kindly предложed and prepared a boxed meal with sandwiches, salad, and fruit. I felt their warm hospitality right through to the end. [Access] If I had to mention one drawback, it would be the distance from the station. This time I had quite a bit of luggage so I ended up taking a taxi to the airport—but that also means the Accommodation maintains a quiet and peaceful environment. Everyone I interacted with was truly wonderful, including the staff member who kindly helped me choose a keychain at the shop. Thank you for such an excellent stay with no stress at all.

    Unchanging hospitality

    New Hotels open in Okinawa every year, so it had honestly been a while since my last stay. Ever since my first visit, I’ve been impressed by the hospitality. Our taxi arrived at the rear entrance, and a bell attendant carried our luggage and escorted us to the Club Floor. From check-in to using the Club Floor facilities, and even with the dining staff, everyone was calm and welcoming, which made it easy to relax. Staying on the Club Floor means you’re on a higher level, so you can enjoy views over Naha. I’m not sure about now, but I once stayed in a non-Club Floor Room in the past and remember there were some differences in amenities (for example, slipper thickness). These days, some Hotels remove items like toothbrushes and cotton pads even for Club Floor guests for environmental reasons, but here we had everything we needed and were completely comfortable. One of the highlights of the club lounge was that champagne was available—such a treat. The tea-time sweets and fruit were also high quality and very satisfying. At cocktail time, items are brought to you by staff on a single plate. For dinner we chose Japanese cuisine. The broth was flavorful, there were plenty of vegetables used throughout, and they kindly removed ingredients I don’t like as well. For breakfast there were Western options, Japanese options, and continental in the lounge—and I ended up choosing Japanese again. We were also told we could switch breakfast to lunch at no extra charge, so after our 12:00 checkout we enjoyed lunch instead. Rather than rushing to get dressed and put on makeup in the morning, I could take my time with coffee while enjoying the high-floor view—an ideal way to spend our final day in Okinawa. We also took The Terrace Hotels shuttle bus to Naha Airport, which made getting there very easy. Since I had mentioned that this stay was for our wedding anniversary celebration as well، they surprised us with a lovely gift along with a message card! Thank you for everything. I’m already looking forward to staying again next time.

    Nahateras for Relaxation

    We visited for a family celebration trip. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality, which made my family very happy. This time, we had dinner at La Cima.     This was my first time using this accommodation. Stayed on the club floor. The hotel was adorned with flowers everywhere, creating a very elegant atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the warm and pleasant service of the staff. Breakfast time was especially wonderful, with every dish being delicious and highly satisfying. The shuttle bus to the airport after check-out was very convenient and comfortable. Thank you for providing various comfortable services. It felt like I forgot I was in downtown Naha at this amazing hotel.

    Has the service level declined?

    Previously, staff would assist by opening the trunk or doors upon arrival by car. However, this time they simply stood there, and when I tried to get out of the car with my luggage still in the passenger seat, I was told, "Don't forget your luggage." I never expected to carry my own bags all the way to check-in (laughs). The entrance staff seemed inexperienced and not well-informed. It also felt like there were fewer veteran staff members; when I went to check out at the lounge, no one was there. Eventually, someone called out from behind as I headed to the front desk. This had never happened before. On a positive note, housekeeping staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever with their smiles. It wasn’t unpleasant or frustrating but considering it’s a certain level of Hotel, it was disappointing that the quality of service seemed to have declined.     The service at the club lounge was excellent.

    During my stay in Naha, I usually stayed at a hotel near the Yui Rail station due to its proximity to my favorite shops in Sakaemachi. However, this time I stayed at The Naha Terrace for the first time. The lounge staff provided excellent service and even recommended a delicious Okinawa soba restaurant. They were so welcoming that I look forward to meeting them again during my next stay. The room was comfortable, and both DFS and Sakaemachi shops were within walking distance. While it might not be fair to compare, after having lunch at Busena Terrace on the second day, I decided to switch breakfast for lunch at The Naha Terrace, which was slightly disappointing. Nonetheless, I've added another hotel I'd like to stay at again!

    My wife is from Okinawa, but due to an illness five years ago, she has been living in a wheelchair with paralysis on her left side. From the time of making the Reservation, you provided detailed support for her condition and even suggested preparations such as assistive devices for the bathroom, toilet, and bed. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to spend our stay without any inconvenience. The service provided by the woman at check-in was also excellent, and my wife was deeply moved. Thank you very much.

    We stayed at the Nahate Terrace, a place we had always dreamed of visiting, with a plan that included access to the Club Lounge. The room was lovely, and both the Western and Japanese-style breakfasts were delicious and served in a pleasant atmosphere. However, there was one disappointing experience. On our last night during aperitif time at the Club Lounge, a family with children entered. Their two children ran around the lounge excitedly, so we decided to leave earlier than planned. The Club Lounge is open to both adults and children, so no one is at fault here.

    This has become our go-to spot for the first night in Okinawa. The main reason is the shuttle bus to The Terrace Club, but The Naha Terrace itself is also incredibly comfortable. Compared to hotels around Kokusai Street, it feels more like a resort, giving us that "Ah, summer vacation has started" feeling. This time, we had tea at Maroad later in the evening and enjoyed a private-like atmosphere with live piano music, making it an exceptionally luxurious experience. Looking forward to visiting again next year!

    An Annual Delight

    I have been staying here once a year recently. Although it is not close to the sea and does not have standout facilities, I am always impressed by the attentive yet unobtrusive service and the calming atmosphere. It is away from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for relaxing, focusing on reading, or reflecting on thoughts. I cannot think of a more fitting hotel for such moments. I hope this place continues to remain a comforting retreat in the future.
