Stayed here to celebrate my grandchild's success.

A congratulatory message was included in the dinner course to celebrate our achievement. Thank you very much. The course meal was delicious, and we also enjoyed using the spa for a relaxing experience.

A lovely Room with a relaxing jacuzzi.

This time, I stayed in a corner Room that was slightly more spacious. The red sofa had a Nordic design and was charming, and the Room was impeccably clean. I wanted to relax in hot water, so I chose a Plan with spa access and enjoyed the jacuzzi and mist sauna. Meals were not included in my Plan this time, so next time I would like to stay with breakfast included.

    Two major misinformation

Due to the snowy weather, it is mentioned that the subway is a one-minute walk away, but in reality, it takes eight minutes on foot... It is stated that you can enjoy the night view of Sapporo, which has been selected as one of Japan's New Three Major Night Views, but it's too far to see from here and most of Shin-Sapporo's surroundings are dark with only scattered lights. You shouldn't lie.

    We apologize for any...

We apologize for any inconvenience caused due to our oversight, but thank you for your kind and flexible response. The Room was well-cleaned, and the tea and coffee were plentiful, making it comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and my mother and I were impressed the next morning, saying, "Our bodies didn't hurt at all, and the pillows were great!" After a day of walking around for sightseeing, we were able to relax our tired bodies in the large public bath. Even after walking around all day from morning, we felt refreshed the next day. The breakfast had many Hokkaido-style dishes, and there were various types of tea, which made us very satisfied from the morning. My mother was pleased with the takeaway coffee. (I am not a fan of coffee, so I would have been happy if there was tea as well.) As the Hotel also hosts weddings, the entrance was spacious, which was also comfortable. One point, the humidifier in the Room was not very effective, and since it is Hokkaido, it was quite dry due to the heating. It would be nice to have body cream in the large public bath and a skincare set in the Room. The hospitality, cleanliness, Facility, and meals provided great satisfaction for the price! Thank you very much.

    Snow Festival in Hokkaido

Thank you for upgrading my Room as a Diamond member. The view from the Room is wonderful. The overall experience at the Hotel was good, so I would like to use it again on another occasion. I have used various Hotels and Ryokans, but being asked to present identification at check-in was a first for me outside of the national GoTo discount, which was a bit surprising and felt excessive, causing some resistance. According to the staff's explanation, it was requested by the police. At the Chitose Airport Hotel Portom the night before and the Odori Park Hotel the next day, I only had to confirm and sign the printed name and address section for check-in.

    The quality of break...

The quality of breakfast has significantly declined over the year. They are just serving frozen products from a wholesale supermarket. The front desk service is good, though.

Everything is ruined by the poor reception at the parking lot.

When I went to the parking lot, the attendant asked, "What do you need?" What else would someone bringing a rental car to the hotel's parking lot during check-in time need other than parking for their stay? It's so frustratingly stupid, it ruins everything. Also, the breakfast quality has dropped. They're just serving frozen products from a wholesale supermarket. The front desk service is good, though.

    Restless.

The manners of Chinese guests are too bad. Especially noisy, which made the quality of the Hotel feel poor.

    The breakfast is delicious.

I have stayed here several times. I love the breakfast buffet on the 31st floor. There is a wide variety and a live cooking station. In summer, they have asparagus shabu-shabu and omelet rice. In winter, they serve pork rice bowls. No matter how many times I visit, I never get tired of it.

    It was kind.

A family member fell on the frozen road and hit their face, but we were able to cool it immediately with an ice pack that was kindly provided, which was very helpful. Thank you for your kindness. The Room was also cleaned properly, making our 3-night stay comfortable.

It is an old type of Hotel.

Personally, I was there for the spa, so I have no complaints about the old rooms. It's about 30 minutes from the center of Sapporo, so there's no problem with access. However, it was surprising that there was nothing, as it is common for hotels in the center to provide bottled water in the rooms. Above all, the benefits of being a Diamond member were very helpful. I was able to relax.

Close to the station Good transportation access Facility with hot springs available High satisfaction with breakfast

Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of the year, just like last year. Convenient access to both JR and subway. Last year, I enjoyed the corn soup at breakfast with lots of corn, so I stayed again for that, but was shocked to find no corn this year. However, there were many menu options, and everyone was happy making hand-rolled sushi and seafood bowls. The pudding was also very delicious. The bathing Facility is clean and a treat for the body chilled by the cold. I'm sure I'll be back next year.

    The view is magnificent.

The view from the Hotel is unique to this location. It's worth staying just for this. The spa has become a bit old, but it's still nice. The unisex lounge is convenient.

This is a Hotel you want in Chuo Ward.

Since moving to Sapporo last year, I have been comparing and staying at hotels in the city during the off-season, and I find IKYU's plans to be the most affordable and beneficial. This time, I think it's quite rare to have this rate with two meals included. The room is not spacious, but it is well-maintained and clean despite its age. The Chinese dinner was delicious, and what stood out at the breakfast buffet was the sushi rice prepared for the seafood bowl, which is not commonly found in other hotels, making it taste exceptionally good. The mapo tofu and salmon chanchan-yaki were satisfying overall, but I thought some effort was needed to keep the French toast from becoming hard. The homemade pudding was delicious. Also, the spa on the basement floor exceeded expectations, with no noticeable chlorine smell, strong water pressure that relaxes the body, a lovely space, and a mist sauna, which seems to be popular. I liked it so much that I applied for the Club Emisia membership.

It's nearby, and I've used it many times.

This Hotel is one that makes you want to use it regularly, with the spa and delicious breakfast being the main attractions! This time, the Plan included Chinese cuisine for dinner, and we were guided to a seat with a very nice view, enjoyed delicious Chinese food, and the staff responded with a wonderful smile, making it a pleasant experience! One disappointment is that the omelet at the live kitchen during breakfast is no longer available. I would be very happy if it could be brought back...

Lack of trust in front desk service

I stayed with a Diamond benefit. The facility is old, but I like the service, and it is a hotel where I stay once a month during the winter season. Usually, they upgrade me with the Diamond benefit, but... At this check-in, I was told, "We are fully booked today, so we cannot upgrade you." Since there was no other choice, I offered to pay the difference and asked them to find another room. Then, a manager came out and said, "A room has just become available, so we can upgrade you with the benefit." I felt distrustful of this response, and when I checked the upgraded room online, I found that multiple rooms were vacant until night on that day. It was a weekday stay, not during a busy period. I was very displeased with the staff who lied so easily about something that could be verified. They might think that customers won't know, so they can just say it's fully booked and upgrades are not possible, but Diamond members stay at many hotels throughout the year and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. As the previous person also wrote, I realized that this hotel has a bad attitude towards Diamond member benefit upgrades. I had reservations after December, but I canceled them immediately. I will not visit again. Do not underestimate your customers.

    Conveniently located near the station.

It was my first time staying somewhere other than Sapporo Station in Sapporo, but the reviews were good, and I was able to stay at a very reasonable price due to a time sale, so I decided to use it. The view from the room was nice, but the view from the restaurant on the 31st floor was absolutely stunning. The breakfast venue had a delicious-looking spread, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat much because I had overeaten the day before. The spa was also great, as it was early and not crowded, allowing me to use the jacuzzi, sauna, and lockers comfortably. Next time, I want to go to breakfast with an empty stomach!

    Feel the effects of aging

Stayed for 5 nights, but on the first day, the air conditioning was set to cooling despite the evening outside temperature being in the single digits, resulting in cold-induced diarrhea. The next day, I urgently requested a heater, borrowed one, and recovered. On this day, the switch to heating mode was made at 7 PM, but when I requested notification for Multiple Night Stay guests, I received a letter. This response was unsatisfactory.

    I chose this propert...

I chose this property because I don't like the cluttered feel around Sapporo Station and it was a Diamond Member benefit stay. The location was quite convenient by train, making sightseeing easy. The staff were very helpful, providing detailed explanations about tourist spots and dining options when asked (three male staff members). However, at check-in, I was shown a room that didn't seem to be an upgrade for Diamond Members. When I inquired, they eventually gave me a room on the 28th-floor corner, but the female staff member wasn't very pleasant. Perhaps because of this, there was no explanation about the dining venue, the location of the large bath, or the elevators, so I had to find the elevator myself and look up everything later. I would have appreciated an automatic upgrade if available, as it was specifically mentioned for Diamond Members, and the attitude was disappointing. Other than that, the view was nice, the breakfast was delicious, and considering the cost of the large bath, although it was a bit old and not perfect, it was okay since it was a weekday and not crowded.

Very satisfied with the variety of items at the breakfast buffet.

The Accommodation Fee was low, so I didn't expect much from the breakfast, but I was surprised by the variety and number of items. First, I recommend taking a look around to get an overview. Note: You cannot enter in room wear or slippers.

I never expected there to be an extra charge for the bath...

I admit it was my fault for not checking carefully when booking, but I was surprised to find that this hotel with a large public bath charges an extra fee, which is unusual for me as most hotels allow multiple entries. Although there is a shower in the room, there are no amenities like lotion, so if you don't use the public bath, you have to prepare your own. After washing my face in the morning, I rushed to a nearby drugstore. I wanted to stretch my legs and relax in the large public bath after sightseeing in Sapporo, so I paid the fee, but 1,000 yen per entry is too expensive! The hotel was conveniently located near the station and the staff was polite, which was nice, but the hotel I stayed at in Hakodate the day before was also near the station and had a comfortable large public bath, so it was disappointing in comparison.

    Regular accommodation in Hokkaido, Emisia

I use Emisia every time I visit my son who attends university in Hokkaido. It's right in front of Shin-Sapporo Station, and it's very convenient as you can get to New Chitose with a single rapid airport train. Above all, I always look forward to the Spa Alba. It's bustling, but I've never really felt inconvenienced by the crowds. The breakfast always features delicious northern delicacies, but sometimes it falls into the brunch time slot depending on the reservation situation, and it's a bit disappointing that you have to pay the difference if you want to eat during breakfast hours. I guess it's unavoidable to avoid congestion.

    Delicious

The food was very delicious. Since it was late, I was able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. It was disappointing that the takeaway coffee tasted different from the one at the dining venue.

The building is old, but the room was spacious and had a sofa, which was nice. The air conditioning in the building was strong, and with the thin futon, it was cold. (Even though we had turned off the air conditioning in the room...) Nowadays, almost every hotel provides mineral water, so it was disappointing that there wasn't any. The breakfast had a great view, and I enjoyed the local ingredients deliciously.

    Very disappointing Chinese food.

I booked a plan that included a Chinese course dinner with a one-night, two-meal stay at the hotel... I made a reservation for the Chinese course dinner at 6:30 PM. Five minutes after ordering the first beer and enjoying the appetizers, the main dishes like shrimp chili and mapo tofu, along with rice, were served, even though I hadn't even finished half of my glass. Shortly after, three types of dim sum were served late... The order of serving was strange, but I was too taken aback to complain. Not even ten minutes had passed, and I hadn't finished my appetizer or drink... I didn't feel like ordering additional drinks like Shaoxing wine, and everything got cold. I left the table after eating cold tofu with separated chili oil and cold white rice. I was fed up with the lack of consideration and the attitude of just serving the food. I didn't even feel like complaining about the manager who couldn't serve the dishes considering the timing and situation. Is this the level of service this hotel offers? Moreover, despite having a reservation and the place being empty, I was seated at the first table right by the entrance, next to a group speaking loudly. Watching that group, I noticed their course dishes were being served one after another, making me wonder if the chef also didn't know the right timing or if everyone just wanted to finish work early. It was a puzzling Chinese dining experience. I had repeated stays because the front desk staff were all friendly and quick-witted. I think it's basic to consider seating arrangements if there are loud guests and the timing of serving dishes. If this is the course meal offered in the hotel's recommended plan, it's disappointing beyond the taste. Tourists don't visit every month, so when they come to relax in an extraordinary setting, please assign staff who can at least consider the basics, including the kitchen staff. The service was worse than a local Chinese restaurant.
