This is a wonderful Hotel!

I visit Kyoto about twice a year, and this was my first time staying at this Hotel. I have stayed at several Hotels before, but this was an outstanding Hotel that made me want to return more than anywhere else. All of the staff were pleasant and kind. The Room was clean, the amenities were well stocked, and I was especially surprised by the large supply of high-quality towels. I had a Multiple Night Stay, and they even provided new fluffy slippers for the second day. The Onsen public bath was even more impressive. Staff were constantly cleaning the floors and the powder room after use, so no matter when I went, there wasn’t any hair or trash on the floor—this level of cleanliness was a first for me. There were also plenty of bottled water available, and everything about it was excellent. I also enjoyed breakfast. One small disappointment: when I ordered pasta via room service for a late-night meal and mentioned that I would be sharing it, only one set of plates and forks was provided. It took a little time for the additional items to arrive, so the food got cold—but it still tasted great. I’m planning to visit Kyoto again during the autumn foliage season, and I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again.
