We stayed for a family birthday celebration. It was our first time experiencing a Multiple Night Stay. With the pool, bath, and delicious meals, the Hotel stay was very comfortable. Although we had informed the staff in advance by phone about the family birthday, it seemed that this information was not conveyed. At check-in, I requested a paper newspaper (Nikkei), but it did not arrive on either day. While I have an electronic subscription, I specifically wanted a paper version and found this quite disappointing. The in-room dining was excellent and convenient for Multiple Night Stays. We also tried the café and dining lunch buffet for the first time and were highly satisfied; it’s well-suited for family use. Traveling by car is convenient as well, but with luggage storage available at Kyoto Station and bus access to the Hotel being easy to use with public transportation options, it's very practical too. I now understand why locals in Kyoto often choose this Hotel—it makes sense after experiencing it myself. The lounge experience was also wonderful; one of the female staff members went out of her way to assist us with suggestions and searches—her hospitality left a particularly strong impression. Two weeks ago, we had an opportunity to stay at Hotel The Mitsui; however, honestly speaking, our stay at Miyako Hotel felt more comfortable overall. I want my daughter to gain various experiences through different hotel stays so she can learn about "value." We look forward to staying again in the future!
