It felt like an overseas trip.

The service was very good, but it was disappointing that there was no guidance at all. I didn’t know that a ticket was required to use the shuttle bus, whether the Hotel had Wi‑Fi, or whether there was an ice machine. I also couldn’t find any in-room or in-building information, so in the end I called and had ice brought to me. The old-style bathroom layout—with the bathtub and shower booth far apart—was also inconvenient to use. The lounge and breakfast offered a wide variety of options and were enjoyable, and since most guests were from overseas, it felt like being on an international trip. There was also no information inside the Hotel (even near the elevators), so I couldn’t tell what restaurants were in the basement (was I supposed to check the TV guide?). If I had noticed them, I might have gone, but it felt like there were many differences from other hotels—almost as if they didn’t feel the need to promote them much. The Room was spacious with a convenient table and chairs, and best of all, having a full ocean view and being able to watch the sunset was wonderful.
