We stayed as a family during the Snow Festival.

This is a long-established hotel in Sapporo City, with nearly 100 years of history. It is conveniently located between Sapporo Station and Odori Park, with an underground passage available. Although I had used the facilities before, this was my first time staying overnight. Due to the Snow Festival period, the room charge was quite high, but that's understandable during such times. As expected from a hotel that has hosted international VIPs like Prime Minister Thatcher, the service was excellent. They responded promptly and appropriately to various requests, and there were moments when it seemed like decisions were entrusted to each staff member's judgment. There were many foreign guests as well, but they managed everything smoothly. We also dined at the Japanese restaurant for dinner; they served our small child's meal first and interacted well with us. The property has three buildings; we stayed in the newest annex this time which showed some signs of age but did not cause any inconvenience at all. Breakfast offered multiple venues with a buffet that ensured you wouldn't get bored even during a Multiple Night Stay.
