It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.

Although we stayed during the hot season, we were able to play in the river in front of the Hotel and had a great time. The water was clean and not too deep, and we were happy to see our dog enjoying it—it made us glad we came. We didn’t use it this time, but next time we’d like to have river-play photos taken. The meals also felt carefully prepared dish by dish. The salt-grilled ayu was delicious. At dinner, a female staff member was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was set up like a half-buffet system, and items that ran out were replenished promptly with attentive care. The bath water didn’t feel particularly like an Onsen, but the baths were spacious and relaxing. The open-air bath felt slightly hot. Given the times, it seems they are operating with a small team, but there were thoughtful touches such as a 24-hour self-checkout system at the shop and mops and small vacuums available in the changing area for guests to use. Since all guests had dogs with them, we could relax without worrying about others. We’d like to stay again during the autumn foliage season or when fireflies can be seen.

This was my first stay, and everything was wonderful—from the check-in with oyaki and complimentary drinks, to the atmosphere of the Room, and the open-air bath attached to the Room. The cuisine also featured ingredients and cooking methods I don’t usually experience, but it was truly delicious and I was very satisfied. What left the strongest impression was how every staff member had a lovely smile and never forgot attentive, thoughtful service even when busy. It’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

This was my second stay, following last year. The lobby, Room, and large public bath are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The large public bath is excellent. The Onsen leaves your skin feeling smooth, and I especially liked the open-air bath with a very hot option. Breakfast featured many Chichibu specialties and was healthy, so I could eat plenty without feeling heavy—while still offering hearty options for those who want a more filling meal. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Chichibu.

From the Kyoto-style entrance to the lobby, the calm atmosphere and smiling staff make you feel warmly welcomed. I stayed on the 5th floor of this five-story Hotel. There is a large public bath, and the artificial carbonated water bath feels gentle and soothing for tiredness. For breakfast, you can choose one main dish from four options, with the rest served buffet-style. Every menu item was delicious, and the overall food quality was impressively high. I also received a souvenir voucher, which was a lovely gift. This Hotel is conveniently located near Hankyu Karasuma Station and Shijo Subway Station. Kyoto touches are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the Hotel. I think it’s a perfect base for sightseeing in Kyoto.

About a 3-minute walk from Sakae Exit 1, with great access and a convenience store on the first floor, making it very convenient. The front desk staff are welcoming and hospitable. The housekeeping staff also greet you when you pass them, which makes for a pleasant stay. It’s not a new Hotel, but you can feel the team’s effort and pride, and I’m always satisfied. Thank you.

Everything was excellent. The hostess’s hospitality was especially wonderful. The staff also kindly introduced us to local spots and were very helpful, so we were able to fully enjoy Nagano. The Onsen was very relaxing, and the meals were truly delicate, beautifully presented, and delicious throughout. There was no excessive service like at a luxury Ryokan, which made it very comfortable. We would love to stay again when we visit Matsumoto.

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality. We also truly appreciate the gift of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles for our grandchild. We were able to relax at leisure in the natural hot spring waters of Harazuru Onsen, and the meals—especially breakfast—were excellent. If the rate were a little more affordable, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit more often. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

Everything was wonderful, and I was especially impressed by how spacious the private bath was. Of course, the bath in the Room was also very relaxing, the meals were delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive—I loved everything. If I could make just one indulgent request, I would appreciate it if you could offer more savory snacks in the lounge (I wouldn’t mind paying for them), rather than only sweet items.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. As I was traveling with my elderly mother, I hesitated until the very last minute about whether it was wise to go far. But because she loves Onsen so much, I decided to make the trip in hopes of making her happy. Even though it was a last-minute Reservation, when I told you it was for my mother’s birthday, you responded quickly and courteously. Your warm message—“All of our staff will do our very best to make it a memorable day”—truly meant a lot to me. We were also looking forward to enjoying the baths at Dogo Onsen and the meals, and above all, seeing how happy my mother would be on the day. After we arrived at the Accommodation, everything exceeded our expectations: delicious food, soothing baths, and most of all the wonderful hospitality from your staff. The birthday surprise for my mother was a huge success!!! She was so happy she even cried. The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. The expansive garden filled with lush greenery was especially breathtaking! Thank you so much for giving our family such an unforgettable and special time. We will definitely return.

I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokan with ocean views, but this was one of the most memorable. The views from the Room and the open-air bath were outstanding—thanks to the Hotel’s hilltop location with nothing obstructing the scenery, as well as the serene beauty of the Seto Inland Sea itself. There are very few man-made structures nearby, and the landscape created by the scattered islands is truly stunning. In the distance, we could see bridges of the Shimanami Kaido and parts of Imabari’s townscape, while boats passing below from time to time added a lovely touch to the view. I felt this Hotel is well worth staying at even just to relax and take in this scenery. Because it was listed as “Casual” on IKYU, I initially imagined a standard Hotel that simply highlights its views. In reality, however, we experienced warm, unpretentious hospitality from all staff members. Dinner was not a typical set menu; it showed thoughtful creativity throughout and was delicious. Breakfast was buffet-style, and in particular, I still remember how wonderful the locally harvested blueberries were. This time we rented a car at Hiroshima Station: on our first night we stayed at a Ryokan on Etajima; on day two we toured Takehara before taking a ferry over and enjoying beautiful Setouchi island views from Mount Kamimine prior to check-in. The next day we visited Okunoshima to spend time with its rabbits, then headed home via Mihara to Hiroshima Airport. The Hotel was also extremely convenient as a base for sightseeing routes starting from Hiroshima City toward Kure, Takehara, and Mihara—and we were fully satisfied with every aspect: scenery, dining, and hospitality.

Conveniently located near the station. The Room amenities were easy to use, and I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also delicious. I was especially impressed by the sea bream chazuke.

It was my first time having a microwave in the room, and it was even more convenient than I expected. Everything was kept very clean, the TV was large and could play YouTube, and it was comfortable to live as usual even while traveling. The location is also great—no transfers needed on the Tozai Line, close to the station, and there are supermarkets and restaurants on the way from the station to the Hotel. It was so convenient that it made me want to live here. On top of that, maybe because it was a campaign rate, it was an excellent value—I could enjoy top-level comfort without overdoing it. It’s sure to become popular! A place I almost don’t want to share (lol).

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) I stayed for 2 nights with No Meals Included. I had a very comfortable stay. I was happy that the women’s large public bath had a ReFa shower head, and the Room amenities were well stocked, which was very helpful. There were also laundry facilities in several areas, making them easy to use.

The Hotel is conveniently located near Mishima Station, and they also stored our luggage. There is a large public bath, and the breakfast was delicious—we were very satisfied. The complimentary coffee drink service was also excellent. When I visit Mishima again, I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

As expected of a long-established Hotel, the staff’s hospitality is truly top-class. I stay here every year as my regular Accommodation, and from check-in they welcomed me like a familiar face, which made me feel at ease—like coming home. The Room is spacious, and I can relax in the bathtub at leisure. I also have dinner each time at the French restaurant on the first floor, and once again I was completely satisfied with the outstanding service and cuisine. Breakfast is excellent as well—especially the morning curry, which is highly recommended.

The location is close to Sarusawa Pond, making it convenient for sightseeing. Naramachi is also nearby, so you can enjoy dining and shopping as well. The Hotel itself is not new, but it has everything you need, and the Room size feels just right. The staff were kind and courteous, and they also helped with recommendations for places to eat. I chose the plan with breakfast included. It was buffet-style, and everything was carefully prepared—delicious and enjoyable. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. I arrived by rental car, but there is no dedicated Hotel parking lot. You can park at a flat rate in the adjacent (Mitsui) coin parking lot, but if it’s full you’ll need to find another option yourself. I spent the mornings exploring within walking distance and drove farther out in the afternoon, then returned in the evening to park again. At that time of day, it seemed like day-trippers were leaving, so it worked out well for me. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Nara.

This was our first stay, and in short, both our dog and we were completely satisfied. The Facility was spotless and felt very clean. The daybed in the Room was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax and lounge around together with our dog. Unfortunately it rained that day, but the ocean-view scenery was still wonderfully refreshing. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for the same type of Room again. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—and left a great overall impression. There was also an excellent selection of dog supplies and treats; truly thoughtful service that anticipates every need. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks as well—they were delicious. We’ll likely be back again soon, and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you very much for everything.
