I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but it’s rare to find one that offers this level of satisfaction at this price! The room cleanliness, the quality of the spa water, and the delicious food—everything exceeded expectations for the cost. It’s well worth staying not only for visiting Universal Studios, but also just for a Hotel stay. I’d like to make this my go-to Hotel for future stays.

I stayed for one night with breakfast included. The triple Room on the 4th floor of the East Wing was spacious and spotless, and we could even see cruise ships in the harbor through the large window. One of the three beds was a double bed, so I slept comfortably—it was perfect. For breakfast, I chose the charcoal-grill restaurant on the 2nd floor because I wanted to take my time; the portion size was just right, and having freshly cooked rice with salmon roe felt uniquely Hokkaido. There were also plenty of carefully prepared desserts to choose from, and the staff were kind and attentive, so I was very satisfied. When I emailed to request a Hotel brochure and a sightseeing map, they sent them to me, which I really appreciated. The lobby’s complimentary drinks offered a good variety as well, and they tasted great when I came back from the hot weather outside. If I have another chance to travel to Hakodate, this is definitely a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed one night as a couple in a Suite Hollywood Twin. Since light meals were available in the lounge, we skipped dinner and planned to eat out if it wasn’t enough, but my wife overindulged in cake at afternoon tea and slowed down—so no dining out as planned! Even the light bites at cocktail time left us completely full. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax in the large bath. We used valet parking, and when we picked up our car they even gave us two bottles of chilled mineral water—truly touched by the staff’s thoughtfulness. It was an outstanding Hotel in every way. We will definitely stay again.

In a word, I was absolutely satisfied. First of all, the welcome was wonderful and very thoughtful. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere throughout, and upon arrival we were treated to chilled sweets and matcha, which helped us relax right away. The Room consisted of two adjoining Japanese-style rooms: we had meals in the 10-tatami room, and futons were laid out in the 6-tatami room. It was great to be able to separate sleeping and dining spaces. We chose in-room dining, and everything—from preparation and serving to explanations of each dish and clearing up afterward—was handled with such pleasant hospitality. The large public bath was very spacious. I used it three times (evening, night, and morning), and by chance no one else was there each time, so it felt like having it all to myself. The water temperature was perfect for me, and the silky-smooth quality of the spring water felt amazing. And above all—so quiet!! Not exactly “forgetting the city bustle,” but it truly felt that way: all I could hear were cicadas. Spending unhurried time on the veranda while looking out at the garden was incredibly precious. I got to enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. I had to leave early due to my schedule, but they kindly accommodated an earlier breakfast. Also, although I hadn’t requested it that morning, they even drove me to the station—it helped me so much! I would love to stay again if I have another chance. Next time I’d like to enjoy the morning coffee as well. Thank you very much.

Last year, I stayed at Tatsumitei for the first time and was very satisfied. I had also been curious about the annex, so this year I stayed there. As before, both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cuisine. The Room had high ceilings and felt spacious and relaxing; from the window we could admire the greenery of the trees and views of the Saigawa River, while enjoying the sound of the flowing water as time passed peacefully. In the Japanese-style room, there was a raised floor chair provided, which made it comfortable to spend time there. The open-air bath could be used without worrying about time, allowing us to unwind completely. The casually arranged flowers throughout the building were soothing, and we also enjoyed various crafts and carefully selected lighting fixtures. Thank you to all of the staff for your courteous service. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality. I stayed on a business trip to attend my junior colleague’s wedding. Since I had a compact car, securing parking was easy—perfect! The Facility was also clean and beautiful, which made me very happy. When I called because I was worried about the check-in time, you spoke to me so kindly. At check-in, you explained the Point Card program, and since I truly wanted to come again, I signed up. While waiting for the check-in process to be completed, I received a lovely surprise—birthday wishes that I’d almost forgotten at my age! As I thanked you with genuine happiness, you told me there is also a birthday-month gift as part of the Point Card event. Even though it was the day I joined, you handed it to me right away, and it made me smile and feel warmly happy. Thank you so much. On top of that, although you had promised to give me the Point Card when I signed up at check-in, I rushed out in a hurry to make it in time for the ceremony and couldn’t receive it then. Thank you very much for sending it to me afterward. I’m sorry for the postage cost as well. I will definitely plan to stay again.

The Room was spotless and thoroughly cleaned, and the amenities were well stocked. I stayed with breakfast included; it was a buffet with a wide variety of options, and the dishes changed slightly each day, which was great. Also, I only found out after arriving that there was an Onsen, but it helped relieve my fatigue and was very relaxing.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our 5-night trip to Hakodate. We had some concerns about bears, but the Reviews were good and there were plenty of things for kids to enjoy, such as the pool, so we decided to stay here for the first time. Because the Accommodation Fee was a great deal, we didn’t expect much, but we were amazed by how high the food quality was. We stayed two nights and dinner was different each night; the sashimi was fresh, the tempura was just as good as at a specialty tempura restaurant, and it felt like they use high-quality ingredients overall. We take family trips about five times a year, and this was by far the best value Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. The view from our Room is also great, and if you have a rental car it’s about 40 minutes to sightseeing in Hakodate or cycling at Onuma Park—so you can enjoy a different kind of Hakodate trip from most people. We also stayed at popular Hotels in Hakodate city and Yunokawa Onsen, but even our child (5th grade) said this place was the best.

I’ve stayed at this Accommodation many times, and I’m always able to relax. The meals are delicious, and the female staff provide excellent service, making it a very comfortable and satisfying experience. I was also able to unwind in the Room’s bath and enjoy a slow, peaceful pace of time. Of course, I’ll be back again.

I learned about this Ryokan through a friend’s recommendation and decided to stay here. The view from the Room and the open-air bath was amazing, and that alone made me very satisfied. Both the Room and the baths were thoroughly cleaned, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The private open-air bath and dining in a private room also allowed me to relax, which was wonderful. Towels were freely available in the women’s open-air bath. These days, most Onsen or Hotels provide only a minimal towel set, but since I used the baths several times during my stay, I truly appreciated this service. The staff were kind as well, and overall I was extremely satisfied with everything. If I had to mention one small disappointment: dinner was very delicious and generously portioned, but there were several times when I couldn’t understand what was being explained about the dishes. Also, the timing of the main grilled dish felt a bit off—it was served as just meat after we had already finished both rice and all other dishes—so I wondered if that timing was intentional. It made me hope that Japan’s uniquely attentive hospitality and services will not be lost. That said, everyone’s warm service and thoughtful attention were truly excellent. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my mother. Just as the Reviews said, everything was very well maintained, every meal was delicious, and the bath was clean and comfortable, so we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace. The garden and the interior design of the walkways were also wonderful, giving us many ways to enjoy our stay. All of the staff provided pleasant and welcoming service. My mother was very satisfied and liked it so much that she said she wants to come again. Thank you for creating such a lovely space.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. The staff’s service and the overall atmosphere were even better than the last time we stayed! Watching the fire in the fireplace… and the outdoor bonfire, like a campfire, was especially memorable. This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, the meals were outstanding. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the most delicious by far. It wasn’t just tasty—the menu was exciting too, and I truly looked forward to mealtimes. Personally, I was especially impressed by how delicious the sautéed splendid alfonsino was. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. In addition, the location offers great access to everywhere, making sightseeing easy and convenient. When I visit Izu again someday, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. As the title suggests, the varied Japanese-style breakfast was very delicious. The Room was also clean, and the large public bath was a comfortable space.

The dog run, the Onsen, and the meals—everything was really great! The buffet was good, but the set meal dishes were especially excellent. It was raining on our stay date, so thank you very much for letting us check in around 2:30. There were welcome drinks as well, which was wonderful. The Onsen was small, but the water was very nice. We would definitely like to stay again.

Even though we arrived before check-in, you kindly allowed us to use the Room, and we were able to relax. We also gratefully enjoyed the free-flow starting at 3:00 PM. The French course meal made for a very satisfying dinner time. You also kindly agreed to let us use the parking lot after check-out, so we were able to explore the surrounding area a lot—truly very grateful!! We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

For the past several years, it has become my tradition to stay here alone for one night after finishing work in Kyoto every six months. After check-in, I head straight to the Premium Lounge to relax with a drink and enjoy some well-deserved “me time.” This time, the snacks to go with the drinks felt a little upgraded too... The breakfast buffet is another highlight. The many Kyoto-style obanzai dishes, neatly served in small plates, soothe me the next morning... It also feels like there were even more options than last time—what a treat! I take my time and enjoy a kind of luxury I can’t usually have in everyday life as a homemaker. Now, back to work—so I can look forward to this happiness again in six months!
