Yutaki Inn Nishiya

The hot spring has an abundant flow of water, and the waterfall bath provides an excellent massage effect for the shoulders and lower back. I stayed for two nights, and the proprietress’s vegetable-focused side dishes were very delicious, with no repeated menu items. It is buffet-style, and the staff manage it hygienically, which gave me peace of mind. The cleaning is thorough, but the building is old, and footsteps echo when people walk.

I was a bit unsure about the shared toilets before staying, but I had no inconvenience at all and spent a very comfortable time. Because this Ryokan has a small capacity, I was extremely satisfied to have the generously flowing Onsen all to myself. Everything was kept very clean, and I hope you will continue to cherish and preserve this traditional thatched-roof old folk house Ryokan. Dinner—the Yonezawa beef sukiyaki and the half buffet—was delicious, but breakfast was a little disappointing as it included many pre-made dishes like those at a Business Hotel. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and was satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality.
