I stayed for two nights, and the proprietress’s vegetable-focused side dishes were very delicious, with no repeated menu items. It is buffet-style, and the staff manage it hygienically, which gave me peace of mind. The cleaning is thorough, but the building is old, and footsteps echo when people walk.

Because this Ryokan has a small capacity, I was extremely satisfied to have the generously flowing Onsen all to myself. Everything was kept very clean, and I hope you will continue to cherish and preserve this traditional thatched-roof old folk house Ryokan. Dinner—the Yonezawa beef sukiyaki and the half buffet—was delicious, but breakfast was a little disappointing as it included many pre-made dishes like those at a Business Hotel. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and was satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality.
