Hotel Pearl City Morioka

It’s close to the station, the Room is clean, and you can’t hear noise from the neighboring rooms. The amenities are well stocked. There is also coffee, black tea, and green tea available to enjoy in your Room. You can borrow a memory foam pillow as well, so I sleep well, and I use this place almost every time I stay in Morioka. The bath isn’t anything special, but it’s nice that there’s no need to adjust the temperature and that it fills up quickly.

We stayed the night before my son’s exam. When I called to say our check-in would be 30 minutes to an hour late, the phone support was very polite and pleasant. When we actually checked in, front desk staff member Mr./Ms. Kawa○ greeted us with a bright smile and spoke clearly, explaining the parking and amenities in an easy-to-understand and courteous way. Thank you as well for your kind consideration. The other front desk staff member was also wonderful—when I asked about dining options, they responded warmly. The front desk team was truly excellent.The Room felt clean, and even though it was on the 8th floor (where water pressure can sometimes be weak), the shower pressure was strong. It was affordable yet very satisfying.My son made a separate Reservation, but he wrote in the notes that he hoped for nearby Rooms if possible—and you placed us next door to each other. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness.Outside the Hotel there were izakaya restaurants on both sides, and if you head right and cross Kaiun Bridge there’s also an izakaya with Gindaco takoyaki—served hot and delicious. There were also convenience stores nearby (FamilyMart and 7-Eleven) as well as Matsukiyo, so everything was close by and convenient.Breakfast was standard, but it was nice that you can decide on the day without a Reservation—just pay 1,100 yen at the dining area to eat. With advance booking, it can be hard to know until morning whether you’ll feel up to eating or have enough time; being able to choose without booking (Japanese or Western) was great. The female staff member in the dining area was also very helpful.The parking lot is a little far away so I got a bit lost, but it’s a spacious multi-story garage where you can park easily. From there, crossing the pedestrian bridge brings you right to the Hotel.It’s a great location and Hotel that made me want to stay about two nights next time—relaxing with drinks while enjoying our stay.Thanks to Mr./Ms. Kawa○’s smileful service at the front desk, we had a wonderful stay in Morioka. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Morioka. Thank you very much.
