    The front desk staff were very courteous, and I had a pleasant stay. The Facilities and amenities are well equipped, making it comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety and was more than satisfying. This Hotel is especially recommended for business travelers.

  • The massage chair is amazing.

    Having a massage chair in the Room at this price is an amazing value!I really enjoyed the massage chair.Other than the massage chair, the Facility is pretty standard, but that was more than enough.If I had to say one thing, it would have been even better if they could do something about the slightly old (musty?) smell I noticed when I first entered the Room.

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Hotel Pearl City Morioka. Due to ordinances of Iwate Prefecture and Morioka City, an Accommodation Tax will be introduced for stays at Hotel Pearl City Morioka from Thursday, October 1, 2026.

    ■ From October 1, 2026, guests staying at Accommodations within Morioka City will be subject to an Accommodation Tax of JPY 200 per person per night. This tax also applies to stays already under Reservation; we kindly ask for your understanding. The Accommodation Tax will be collected at the front desk separately from the Accommodation Fee.

    - Tax amount: Flat rate of JPY 200 per person per night
    - Applicable facilities: Hotels, Ryokans, simple lodging facilities, and private rentals within the city
    - Applicable persons: All guests (including children)
    - Exemption threshold: None (taxed regardless of the Accommodation Fee)
    - Collection method: Added at settlement at the Accommodation front desk (special collection)
