Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei

We planned a trip to Hakodate to celebrate my elderly father’s birthday, and after careful consideration, we made a Reservation at this Hotel. However, while sightseeing on Mt. Hakodate, my father suddenly became unwell, was taken by ambulance, and was admitted to the hospital immediately. He had been truly looking forward to it, but he was unable to enjoy the meals, the Onsen, or the Room here, so only my mother and I stayed.When we explained the situation, you responded appropriately and offered us warm words of support. I had little appetite after such an unexpected event, but everything we ate was wonderful and delicious—and it made me wish even more that my father could have enjoyed it too. The Room was also excellent.We are deeply grateful to all of your staff.

The long bathhouse, with indoor baths of different water temperatures lined up side by side, all faces the sea. With nothing blocking the view right in front of you, it was my first time experiencing such a large-scale free-flowing hot spring bath! The slightly milky water contains plenty of salt and warmed me thoroughly. Maybe because it was a weekday in June, it was very quiet, and I was able to relax and enjoy Hakodate from the seaside until the last day. The breakfast buffet the next morning also had a great variety of dishes—I couldn’t finish everything—so next time a Multiple Night Stay seems like the way to go. Since I chose a Room on the city side, I could watch planes landing at Hakodate Airport up close from the balcony, and both the city night view and the mountain-side sky were wonderful.
