Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei

We planned a trip to Hakodate to celebrate my elderly father’s birthday, and after careful consideration, we made a Reservation at this Hotel. However, while sightseeing on Mt. Hakodate, my father suddenly became unwell, was taken by ambulance, and was admitted to the hospital immediately. He had been truly looking forward to it, but he was unable to enjoy the meals, the Onsen, or the Room here, so only my mother and I stayed.When we explained the situation, you responded appropriately and offered us warm words of support. I had little appetite after such an unexpected event, but everything we ate was wonderful and delicious—and it made me wish even more that my father could have enjoyed it too. The Room was also excellent.We are deeply grateful to all of your staff.

I stayed on the Standard Twin breakfast-only Plan. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the seating area was comfortable and easy to use. Lately, Hotels near Hakodate Station that are known for breakfast have become quite expensive, so this felt like a more reasonably priced stay.The Room had been fully renovated, and both the shower booth and sink were convenient to use.The large public bath was very spacious, so it didn’t feel crowded even with many guests, and the open-air bath while listening to the sound of the waves was also great.However, while the check-in staff were kind, there was very little explanation, which made it hard to tell what amenities were provided in the Room versus what needed to be picked up in the lobby.
