    Luxury that kids will love

    We stayed for one night on the Executive Floor with our child and were satisfied with the location, Room, breakfast, and more. The value for money was also excellent.

    Very disappointing.

    When I arrived at the Hotel at 3:45 PM on Friday, September 4, there was an extremely long line. Unfortunately, it took over an hour to check in. As a result, I almost missed my lecture and had to contact the organizer to urgently adjust the start time. In my experience traveling domestically and to more than 40 countries overseas, I have never had a check-in take more than an hour. This is unacceptable.

    Check-in Congestion

    I checked in on September 4. There was a very long line around 5:00 PM. In the end, I only left my luggage and went out. The Hotel staff responded as if it were normal, and I felt a lack of sincerity. Maybe it couldn’t be helped because it was before the Giants game.

    Good value for money.

    We stayed on an upper floor, and the view was as good as expected. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It was a bit disappointing that the building, hallways, and Room furnishings feel somewhat dated. Still, we had a comfortable stay, and access to nearby restaurants is excellent, so we would like to stay again.

    Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, as hygiene, facilities, and service all fell below expectations. Room & hygiene: The Room did not feel clean, and there were ants. The safe deposit box was broken, and the Facility overall is far too outdated. Housekeeping: Unless you hang the housekeeping sign on the door, they will not even replace towels. When we returned to the Room after 5:00 p.m. and contacted them upon noticing this, we were told they could not clean because it was past 5:00 p.m. Service & support: The front desk could not be reached no matter how many times we called. The relaxation staff were extremely rude. Pool: The pool staff were very kind; however, it is a paid pool that requires full Reservation only—limited to one person per lane (maximum five people)—and had a unique atmosphere where everyone swam silently. Overall satisfaction was very low, and we will not stay here again.

    My stays are always ...

    My stays are always pleasant, but this time the bathroom didn’t feel very clean. The shower curtain had an odor, there were visible wipe marks on the bathroom counter and mirror, and even the toilet paper was set in reverse—things I hadn’t experienced before, so it was surprising.

    Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima

    Both the Hotel and the guest room were very satisfying. The parking is in an off-site lot, and I had some concerns about the map and the clarity of the directions provided.

    I stayed here during...

    I stayed here during a trip to Hiroshima. It was in a very convenient location, close to major sightseeing spots. There were also many restaurants nearby, so finding dinner was easy. I stayed with relatives, and everyone raved about the pillows! They were extremely comfortable, and we all felt refreshed after a day of sightseeing. If I come back to Hiroshima, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much to all the staff.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time in Hiroshima in 40 years, and for the three of us as a family, it was our first visit. Since it’s not easy to travel there often, we decided to stay at a nice Hotel and chose this one. They added two beds to our twin Room, so four of us were able to stay together in one Room. The location was convenient whether we came by train or bus, and we could even walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome. We stayed on the 23rd floor on the seaside, with the sea visible in the distance and buildings nearby. Both the daytime view and the night scenery were absolutely beautiful. There was also a Lopia supermarket in the basement next door, which was very convenient. With IKYU Diamond member benefits, we were able to use the pool and sauna free of charge. The Accommodation rate was also very reasonable. They also stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, so we could sightsee hands-free. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Hiroshima.

    That works.

    It seemed there was no hot spring or public bath available, so I can’t give it a three-star rating. This time we stayed in a 26 m² room, and I felt it was spacious enough for two adults. There was also enough space to fully open two 28-inch suitcases without blocking the walkway. The location is close to most attractions. The downside is that it feels a bit old; the air conditioner didn’t cool at first, and it wasn’t until late at night—when we slept without a blanket—that we woke up cold. Cleanliness could also be improved, as there was dust in all the corners and edges.

    Only the parking...

    This was my first stay. I lived in this city for four years back in my student days, and even now I stay here a few times a year. This time I chose this Accommodation because the Diamond member benefits made the rate affordable and came with perks. Access to everywhere, staff hospitality, and services were all excellent. I was especially impressed to see Hiroshima from above for the first time (I was on the 25th floor). Since it was Saturday, 8/15, I entered via the Motomachi Parking access, but there was a huge line. Every lot was full except the Center Building parking garage. Somehow I managed to park and took the elevator up to the shopping area. The connecting passageways were easy to understand, and I reached the front desk quickly. With early check-in, I could get into my Room right away. However, the next morning after checking out, when I tried to head back to the parking garage, none of Center Street/Sogo/etc. were open yet, so I couldn’t figure out how to get down to the Center Building basement… I wandered around for over 30 minutes. I did ask at the front desk just in case, but didn’t quite get clear directions and ended up like this. If you could mark it on an area map with a circle or something similar, I think guests could find it immediately. Still, it helped that the parking fee was cheaper than expected. From next time on, since I’ll know where it is right away, I think it will be fine.

    A long-established, trusted Hotel

    Although the building is a bit old, it is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, so it felt very clean. All of the staff were professional, as expected of RIHGA Royal Hotel. The location was also great, and we had a comfortable stay.

    The sauna was excellent.

    I was glad this hotel was very close to the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, which I had wanted to visit again, and the city views from the restaurant bar on the 33rd floor were excellent. Since I made a same-day Reservation, the standard Rooms were fully booked and I was unexpectedly assigned an executive Room, which included free access to the gym and bathing Facility. The sauna was even better than expected—temperature, cleanliness, towels, and the cold bath all made for a truly luxurious time.

    The building, Room, ...

    The building, Room, and location were all great, but the service was disappointing—perhaps due to understaffing. Check-in took as long as 40 minutes, and when returning our luggage, staff did not recognize us and had to search for us. The air conditioning is outdated and does not cool the Room well, and the refrigerator also does not get cold, which was concerning.

    Family Trip During the Obon Holidays

    We stayed here for a family trip during the Obon holidays. We chose Chinese cuisine for dinner, and it was very delicious. The Room was simple but clean, which was nice.

    Convenient Location

    On the way back from a trip, we ended up staying one night in Hiroshima at short notice and used this hotel. It’s close to shopping areas and sightseeing spots, so the location was excellent. Check-in is handled at the counter from 15:00. We waited in line for over 20 minutes to check in, so I recommend lining up a little early. We left our luggage at the cloakroom beforehand, but after check-in you carry it to your Room yourself. The guest Room is compact, but the view was wonderful and it didn’t feel cramped. We were basically just there to sleep, but we stayed comfortably.

    Great location.

    I was looking forward to staying again at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima, where I had stayed before. Although check-in was supposed to be available from 15:00, I arrived after 16:30 and still could not check in. There was no clear explanation—only that the Room was not ready—and I was told it would take more than 20 additional minutes. I was asked whether I wanted to go out or wait, and since I had already prepaid, I was given one drink ticket per person and shown to the restaurant that also serves breakfast. To be honest, it did not feel very apologetic. It also seemed this information had not been shared with the staff who carried my luggage, as there was no apology when I was finally taken to my Room around 17:15. It made me wonder what would have happened if I had not prepaid. Was cleaning not finished? Or did a previous guest smoke in a non-smoking Room and they were airing it out? There was no water in the Room; instead, plastic bottles were placed at the front desk with a note saying one bottle per person. I forgot to pick mine up on the second night, and when I went the next morning there were none left. Perhaps because it was an inexpensive Room, there was also no coffee provided. The in-room amenities were disappointing as well. To make matters worse, the neighboring Room seemed noisy too, which bothered me—overall this stay was very disappointing. The location/accessibility was good, so overall my trip still ended satisfactorily.

    The Room we were ass...

    The Room we were assigned faced south and offered a wonderful view, including the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. Unfortunately, there were no facial cotton pads among the in-room amenities. Even without other skincare items such as lotion, I would have appreciated having cotton pads provided. This was my first time staying at a Hotel that did not offer them, which was disappointing. The breakfast selection was fairly standard; recently, many Business Hotels seem to offer more substantial buffet options. Perhaps because we arrived at the last minute, breakfast was served in a banquet hall that felt overly large, and everyone ate quietly. With no windows in the room, we finished breakfast quickly. As an IKYU member benefit, it seems we could also use the public bath, sauna, and pool; however, they closed too early at 8:30 p.m., so we were unable to use them.

    On my first trip to ...

    On my first trip to Hiroshima, I had quite a few requests. Thank you for accommodating all of them. At both dinner and breakfast, there was no staff to guide us, and there was no call bell, which concerned me a little. Dinner was simply delicious, but breakfast was amazing! I wasn’t expecting much (sorry), so I was pleasantly surprised. The stay included tickets to the Hiroshima Museum of Art, so we visited on the last day. The permanent collection was wonderful, and it made our trip to Hiroshima truly memorable. I would love to stay here again.

    I was satisfied.

    The Room is old, but it was well cleaned, and thank you for upgrading us to a larger Room for my birthday. There was a concert that day, and check-in had a very long line, but with six counters open the process went smoothly. The accommodation rate was also reasonable and felt fair. The only disappointing part was when I asked for a bottle of water at check-out. I did receive one, but the staff member looked displeased, which made me feel down. It seems this Hotel does not have such a policy; in the extreme heat, I may have been asking too much because I was used to other Hotels responding with a smile. After check-out, I stopped by your Hotel’s lunch buffet. It was delicious and lifted my mood.

    Perfect location, and I was delighted with the panoramic view of Mt. Misen on Miyajima.

    The view from the beautifully polished high-floor windows was outstanding. Thanks to that, even though our stay was short, we were able to fully enjoy Hiroshima. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, so we left Hiroshima feeling truly satisfied. Thank you very much.

    The view is spectacular.

    This was my third stay. This time, I really appreciated being able to park on a flat surface. In Hiroshima, a major tourist destination, parking fees are high and lots are often full, so I leave my car at the Hotel and get around from there. As a Diamond member perk, I was able to check in early and use the pool and spa, which I was very satisfied with. It’s conveniently located near shops, so finding places to eat is never a problem. I will stay again.

    The view is amazing! Truly breathtaking!

    I selected a Room on the 28th floor when making my Reservation. I’m not sure if it was just luck, but it was on the ocean side. I was amazed by the view from the window—Hiroshima city and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea! I decided not to go out and instead enjoyed looking out over Hiroshima, Hijiyama, Eba, and toward Miyajima—places I’ve visited before. If you book a Room on a high floor at this Hotel, I think binoculars are a must. In any case, the view was absolutely spectacular—I was truly impressed.

    A Conveniently Located, Peaceful Hotel

    I was very satisfied to be able to watch the Ujina Fireworks Festival on July 25 from a cool Room. It is close to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Hondori, so I could access the Hotel without any stress. The Hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Outstanding hospitality

    I stayed at this Accommodation because it was close to the live venue. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, I personally would have found it even more comfortable if the toilet and bath were separate. Above all, the staff were wonderful. Everyone greeted me with a smile and provided pleasant service. Thank you very much. If I have the chance to visit Hiroshima again, I would definitely like to stay here again.
