    A ship before sinking

    Everything I expected was betrayed. The food was made with careless ingredients and couldn't possibly be delicious. When I asked for a replacement with hot tea during the meal, the server's attitude worsened. The breakfast was so bad that even cheap Ryokans these days wouldn't serve it. The facilities were also poor, such as the toilet lid in the dining area coming off. Neither facility maintenance nor staff training was adequate. The long-standing prestigious Ryokan was no longer there.

    Not worth the price.

    The room is extremely small. It was a room with an open-air bath, but I think the size does not match the price (only a bedroom and a small sitting area). The open-air bath is quite "aged." The bath towels are small, and there are no bathrobes. The washbasin and makeup space are also cramped. Although meals were served in the room, there was no dining space (I think other ryokans at this price range usually have a separate dining room in addition to the bedroom), and meals were served in the so-called small sitting area through the bedroom. The meal felt like a slightly upscale Japanese course meal at a countryside ryokan. In the large public bath, guests continued to enter the bathtub without washing their bodies, so I left without entering the bathtub. Does the proportion of such guests increase as the scale of the property grows? Overall, it was disappointing.

    Attention to detail

    This time, I stayed with my husband. The accommodation had various thoughtful touches, and it was very comfortable to relax in the lounge. The meals were delicious and the portions were just right. The open-air bath was spacious. There is nothing to complain about, but it would be even better if there were samue in addition to yukata. I would like to visit again next time for a girls' gathering.

    The hot springs and open-air bath were nice, and the open-air bath was spacious and relaxing. Although there were ingredients I couldn't eat due to allergies, they were considerate about it. The lounge was cool and pleasant. However, there were some concerns. Our room was a standard room on the second floor of the west wing, near the smoking room. We were not informed that the room was near the smoking room, which was very disappointing. Also, the hangers in the room were broken, and when the staff member left the room to bring matcha, they left the door open with a stopper. I think it would be better if the door was closed when leaving.

    It was an almost satisfying inn, but

    I used it because it was recommended by Ikkyu with a considerable discount and points. The overall atmosphere of the inn was good, and the meals were particularly well-suited to our taste and portion size. I was really bothered by the slight step near the window in the room and in front of the shower room. In the large public bath, there was a bit of a distance to the open-air bath, and I hesitated to walk there naked and barefoot. It might have been nice if the attendant had informed us about it in advance. The staff had a good attitude. It was worth the discounted price. I didn't feel the original price was worth it.

    I was able to relax.

    It was September, and I felt it was a bit early for the autumn foliage season, but there were many guests despite it being a weekday. However, the hospitality in terms of service and interaction remained high, and I was able to stay without any noisy atmosphere. I would like to visit again at an appropriate time. I also enjoyed the thoughtful corn on my way back. Thank you very much.

    Healing inn

    I have used this place several times. The best part is the carefully prepared, heartfelt cuisine. I am impressed by the Japanese flavors, presentation, and everything. In the lounge overlooking the spacious garden, you can enjoy drinks, wine, and snacks in the evening. Soft drinks are available until 11 o'clock. Furthermore, the large public bath is clean, and the open-air bath is also relaxing. Attention to detail is evident, and I can always relax. I would like to visit again in a different season to enjoy the cuisine.

    The open-air bath was large and wonderful. However, since I bathed during the rain, it would be nice to have a roof to shield at least part of the bath from the rain. The meals were delicious and satisfying, but I felt slightly unsatisfied, so I would have liked a second helping of rice at the end. Regarding the room facilities, the TV reception was unstable and often became unwatchable. I hope they can resolve the reception issues by installing a booster or similar measures. I was a bit disappointed that the information about the takeaway items I requested from the attendant was not shared with the front desk at checkout. However, I was pleased to receive boiled corn as a souvenir for everyone when leaving. I was satisfied with the meals and the bath, so I am considering visiting again next time.

    We felt luxurious and the whole family was satisfied.

    My husband and I love traveling. We stayed here for a trip with three generations of our family. From the entrance, you can feel the charm of a Japanese inn. We were satisfied with everything, including the room, bath, and food. The staff provided very pleasant service, allowing us to enjoy a rich time with delicious food. We sipped complimentary drinks while gazing at the garden, which looked like a painting, and forgot about our daily lives. It was an inn where we wanted to stay for consecutive nights. Thank you very much!
