    Parking attendant

    After 6:00 p.m., I arrived at the Hotel by private car, dropped off my wife and grandchild, and asked where the accessible parking was. Despite the 32°C heat, a parking attendant ran down to Basement Level 2 and guided me there. At other hotels, they would usually just explain verbally, but this Hotel was different. I was deeply impressed by the attendant’s courteous service.

    A bubbly, glamorous vibe fills the air.

    We stayed in a Corner Suite, so it was spacious, but unlike the photos, there was a partition wall between the living room and bedroom, so it didn’t feel very open. Also, the lighting was far too dim and only had an on/off switch with no brightness adjustment, which was inconvenient. We had the buffet dinner, and I thought both the variety and quality of the food were good. For breakfast, you can choose either Japanese or Western as the main dish, and couples can order different options separately, which is nice. Compared with nearby hotels, it felt slightly overpriced for what you get. There were many inbound (international) guests.

    I was bothered by the footsteps from the upstairs Latin guests.

    I made a Reservation because I had to stay overnight. There were many international travelers, and the noise from other Rooms bothered me too much. The guests upstairs were probably just walking, but the footsteps were as loud as in a cheap apartment, and I couldn’t sleep well.

    家のような居心地の旅

    Options Near Aichi Arts Theater

    As the title says, I chose this Accommodation because it was close for staying after a concert at Aichi Arts Theater. However, it wasn’t particularly close to Sakae Station on the subway, and it also didn’t feel extremely close to the theater. The first thing that bothered me was that no staff member spoke to me until I addressed them at check-in. I also wondered if the receptionist’s lack of a friendly attitude is just a local characteristic. The Room was a decent size, but there was a step between the washroom and the Room, and I worried about tripping in the middle of the night. Also, even though I had turned off the air conditioning, the Room was cold. It was hot outside, so I hesitated to turn on the heater, and ended up staying under the bedcovers until it was time for the concert. Since it was cheaper than near Nagoya Station, I gave it three stars, but I’d like to know if there are any other options around Aichi Arts Theater.

    I was able to relax and rest well.

    I stay here regularly for business trips. The staff, including the front desk team, are reassuring and make me feel at ease. I will stay here again. Other Regarding breakfast, I always wish it could be available from 6:30 a.m. Due to my schedule, I can only book the no-meals Plan each time. I would appreciate it if you could consider this.

    As expected from Tokyu Hotel!

    This was my first stay, and I booked the Executive Floor Plan. Arriving by car, the grand, spacious entrance felt impressive. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, and the Hotel’s open atrium makes it feel elegant and expansive. There is a lounge and even a shopping mall (it’s wonderful that it has been maintained to this day). It truly felt like a long-established Hotel with a dignified presence. I was also genuinely impressed by the morning newspaper service—something that has almost disappeared at most hotels these days—and I really appreciated it. With the Executive Floor Plan, the bed was very comfortable, and at the Executive Business Salon on the first floor I could freely enjoy a great selection of light snacks and drinks, which made it feel special. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was very pleasant. I also enjoyed having access to the gym. Breakfast was a buffet and delicious, just as its reputation suggests. Above all, the staff were kind. There are five elevators as well, so there was hardly any waiting time. I also appreciated being able to keep my car in the parking lot until 3:00 PM after check-out—it felt very considerate. As you would expect from a Hotel in central Nagoya, access is excellent, so we were able to enjoy sightseeing right up until departure time. This is exactly the kind of Hotel I love. My husband and I agreed we would like to return again. Thank you very much to everyone at Nagoya Tokyu Hotel for taking such good care of us.

    The Pride of a Full-Service Hotel

    Due to a sudden change of plans, I booked a same-day stay for one night. I arrived late and cautiously made my way from the parking lot into the Hotel, but the bell staff, the front desk team, and the restaurant staff the next morning were all exceptionally kind and helpful. While the building itself shows its age, it is very well maintained, with power outlets and Wi-Fi available—no complaints at all. When I woke up in the morning, a newspaper had been slipped under my door. (Although I didn’t use them this time,) there were not only a pool and gym but even a small arcade. I was especially grateful that I could continue using the parking lot until 3:00 PM (!) after checkout. Thanks to that, I was able to leave my car parked until early afternoon and take care of errands around town. Considering the price, it felt like full service beyond what you’d expect these days—I truly sensed Tokyu Hotel’s pride in hospitality. If I have another chance to stay in Nagoya, I would definitely like to return. Thank you very much.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    Both check-in and check-out were very smooth, with no waiting at all. Also, the breakfast buffet was very relaxing, as there were no large overseas tour groups. There was nothing unpleasant throughout our stay, and it was a wonderful Hotel that I would recommend to anyone who wants to unwind.

    When I asked where I could buy a phone charger because I had forgotten mine, you immediately lent me one, which was a huge help. Thank you. The Room was clean and very relaxing. Everyone was very kind. I would like to stay here again.

    The staff were kind and attentive.

    When I asked about nearby shopping, the staff were very kind and courteous. As we were traveling with a small child, their kindness was truly helpful. However, in the Room (we stayed in a Japanese-style room), there appeared to be nail clippings left by a previous guest, and the in-room bath felt rough to the touch, so we washed it before using it. For these reasons, I rated my satisfaction as 4.

    Accommodation

    It was a bit disappointing that I couldn’t watch YouTube, etc. on the TV. Other than that, I was satisfied. I stayed here to see a live show at Aichi Arts Theater. - The location is close to the venue, and there are plenty of restaurants and places nearby to spend time. - Breakfast was very delicious. Next time, I’d like to try Nadaman’s breakfast as well. - The Room was clean, and both the building exterior and interior were beautiful. - The staff were kind and explained the Facility clearly, providing pleasant service. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Highly recommended with confidence

    Because we had reserved lunch at the same Hotel, we arrived before check-in, but they allowed us to check in early and even delivered our luggage to our Room. Lunch was excellent in both quality and atmosphere. Next time, I would like to stay here with my husband.

    Breakfast in Montmartre

    The made-to-order omelet service, where you can choose your ingredients on the spot, is back. I was disappointed and thought it had ended for good, but I’m glad it has resumed—it was delicious. The shrimp cutlet sandwich had plump, tasty shrimp, but it was a shame the bread was a bit hard.

    Suite Room

    I stay in the suite a few times a year, and the staff are always courteous. I also love the quiet club lounge. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide variety of options, so I always look forward to it. It’s within walking distance of Sakae, and there are convenience stores and drugstores nearby, which is very convenient.

    The breakfast select...

    The breakfast selection was excellent, including local Nagoya specialties, and everything was very delicious. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The Room was spacious and well cleaned, but I was concerned that the bath mat was already damp before use, and there was a slightly musty smell when I drew the rail curtain. Also, perhaps due to the location, I heard loud honking sounds several times early in the morning and woke up a few times. That part was a bit disappointing.

    This was my first stay at Nagoya Tokyu. As a city Hotel rather than one in a tourist area, convenience of transportation is an important factor in addition to the Facility and service. Overall, it felt average. It’s not bad by any means, but I wouldn’t call it exceptional.

    You can enjoy top-notch hospitality at an affordable price. Breakfast like this for just 10,000 yen is more than I could ask for. My future trips will definitely be with Tokyu Hotels.

    They upgraded me.

    Perhaps because this was my second stay in a row over two weeks, I was upgraded to the 14th-floor executive level. The Room had a Nespresso set, and the bed mattress had a pleasantly firm feel—Airweave. It was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. This time I brought my shoes and workout clothes, so I made full use of the gym from early morning. Some Western runners were using the treadmill—so they must be here for the Women’s Marathon. It reminded me again that if it’s within budget, it’s always better to stay here.

    Definitely not like a typical business hotel.

    When staying in Nagoya, I often used to stay at a business hotel in the Sakae/Nishiki area, but when I checked Tokyu Hotel again after a long time, I found a relatively affordable Plan, so I stayed there for the first time in about 10 years. Access from the station is a bit tricky, but if you take a taxi from Nagoya Station, it’s no problem. Once you stay here, you can really feel the difference. By the way, the gym is free to use for two hours from 6:00 to 8:00 in the morning. I didn’t bring my own shoes, so I used rental shoes—being able to work out regardless of the weather is very convenient. Very satisfied.

    This Hotel is family-friendly and welcoming to guests with children.

    I stayed with my daughter’s family. We reserved two Rooms, and in my daughter’s Room for the family with children, they had thoughtfully prepared many items for my grandchild, including pajamas, slippers, a toothbrush, a child toilet seat, a step stool for the sink area, and a diaper trash bin. It was very helpful for traveling with children. Thank you very much. We also chose Nadaman Japanese breakfast, and my grandchild seemed to find the grilled fish especially delicious and finished it all. The lounge was quiet and well stocked with snacks and sweets. I also appreciated being able to take coffee back to the Room and enjoy it there.

    A well-deserved treat for yourself

    I happened to stay here before, and I was impressed by the luxurious feel of the Room and the wide variety at the breakfast buffet. I also used the massage service, which was incredibly relaxing and excellent. A 12:00 checkout is a nice bonus too!

    A Hotel you’ll want to come back to again and again

    I stay here every time. The staff’s hospitality is truly outstanding, and I always have a comfortable stay. Their thoughtful attention to detail and warm communication make me feel at ease. The pricing is also very reasonable, and I’m very satisfied with the value for this level of service. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use again in the future.

    It was a very impressive Hotel. These days, it’s rare to find a place that carries your luggage to your Room. The staff member who brought it to my Room was very courteous. The amenities in the Room are simple, but I was satisfied. The large parking lot was also very helpful. I would like to stay here again.
