    The rooms are as good as ever.

    I like it and stay every two months. The content, variety, and replenishment of the lounge items were more modest compared to before. There seemed to be a slight shortage of staff, and I thought hotel management must be challenging. It's thanks to the company's efforts that we can stay like this, and I'm grateful for that. I was quite surprised to see people drinking to the point of getting drunk in the lounge and others stacking multiple soup bowls like wanko soba during breakfast. The room is as satisfying as always. I like the feel of the pajamas and sheets. The restroom is spacious with shelves. There are plenty of places to hang towels. The bathtub is slightly deeper in the Japanese style. Welcome sweets. These are my favorites. I was pleased to find decaf capsules in the coffee machine upon closer inspection. I think having two types of decaf in the lounge's coffee machine is a unique consideration. Thank you. Thinking about the environment, I didn't use the bath towel and managed with three face towels. I always bring my own amenities and slippers to be environmentally conscious. From now on, further understanding from the guests and ingenuity from the hotel may be necessary.

    I think it's a good hotel.

    The hotel was more luxurious and clean than I had imagined from the accommodation fee and exterior, with staff present everywhere, ready to assist immediately, making for a generally pleasant stay. I felt it was worth more than the accommodation fee. I appreciated that it didn't take long to adjust the temperature and water pressure of the shower, and plenty of water at a comfortable temperature was available quickly. However, for a hotel of this class, amenities like lotion, cleansing products, and serums are usually provided, but there were none, and the shampoo and body soap were in installed bottles. There was no service to guide us to our room at check-in, which was a bit strange but not particularly dissatisfying. What was slightly unpleasant was when I asked for directions to Misonoza during check-in, the front desk staff seemed annoyed and said they would have the bell staff guide me, calling them over. The bell staff handed a map to the front desk staff saying, "Please," and the front desk staff replied, "I'm alone right now. I'm busy with preparations. Please have the bell staff guide you," to which the bell staff, with a surprised expression, guided me while looking at the map in another location. Witnessing such an exchange, no matter how impressive the facilities are, and even if the staff always smile and use perfect polite language, I felt there was no hospitality. However, not all hotel staff were like this. There were many staff members who exuded hospitality.

    It was wonderful!

    I decided to enjoy a hotel stay in Nagoya and booked this place. The afternoon tea in the karaoke room was enjoyable, and the room I stayed in, as well as the lobby and lounge, had a classical interior which was very nice. As soon as I entered the lobby, the staff greeted me, and since I usually stay at business or casual hotels, I felt a sense of hospitality when they carried my luggage to the room. The best part was the lounge. It was nice to leisurely read books, and I appreciated being able to have drinks at any time, even late at night. I was able to fulfill my purpose of enjoying a hotel stay. At the breakfast venue, the staff were wearing masks, which reassured me that they were taking proper infection control measures. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

    Clean and responsive.

    I heard it was a long-established hotel in Nagoya, but it was very clean down to the details. The hotel staff were all kind and provided good service. We had dinner at the tempura specialty restaurant inside the hotel, and it was excellent. The breakfast was fairly ordinary. It is close to Fushimi subway station. I would like to stay again.

    A Change of Pace with Hotel Life

    I stayed at the hotel to relax during a long-awaited holiday. This hotel is so renowned in Nagoya that everyone knows it, and although the facilities feel undeniably old, the cleanliness was impeccable, and I had a pleasant time in the guest room and lobby. However, despite the availability shown on both the hotel's and Ikkyu's websites, I was not upgraded with the Ikkyu Diamond benefits, and I think it would be better to remove this benefit. I did inquire at check-in, but was told the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was a typical buffet style, but it was a bit disappointing that there was a long wait for the omelet, possibly because the person making them was not accustomed to it, although the omelet was delicious. I wanted to experience something extraordinary and stayed over the weekend, but I was a bit disappointed given my expectations.

    This is a long-established hotel in Nagoya. I had used it for lunch and tea time before, but this was my first time staying overnight. Check-in is on the 6th floor. It seems to have been renovated, creating a bright and stylish space. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks on the sofa at the back of the reception area. The room felt a bit dark. I was slightly bothered by the noise from the hallway and outside. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor. There was a variety of both Western and Japanese dishes, and the tables were spaced apart, allowing for a leisurely meal. This time, I ended up staying here on short notice without much thought, but as expected, a good hotel with a long history is calming. I'm glad I didn't choose a business hotel.

    It was a wonderfully elegant hotel.

    This is a prestigious hotel with a 120-year history, located near Fushimi Station in Nagoya, and I stayed here because I was able to book a room at a reasonable price. The room's view, size, the Nespresso machine, and Bvlgari amenities were all excellent, allowing me to relax. Additionally, there are really many restaurants around, so I had no trouble finding dinner. The freshly made tofu and the variety of fruits at breakfast were also great, and I was very satisfied for two days.

    It's a hotel I want to visit again!

    It was my first stay at the Nagoya Kanko Hotel. I used the Espacio, and everything from the room to the lounge service, including the pleasant scent spreading across the floor, was excellent. The lounge meals, afternoon tea, and aperitifs were also delicious! The room's interior had my preferred color scheme, and the facilities were well-equipped, allowing me to relax. I also enjoyed the benefits of being an Ikkyu Diamond member. I often have the opportunity to stay at hotels in major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sapporo, but the satisfaction level here was top-class compared to past experiences. The location is also good, and I would like to stay at Espacio again when I visit Nagoya next year! It truly was an enjoyable stay in Nagoya. Thank you very much.

    I have been using the Nagoya Kanko Hotel for about 60 years. I am satisfied every time. This time as well, I was able to use the room, lobby, and services with peace of mind.

    I can't say it exceeded my expectations, but I was satisfied with my stay. There were no issues with the room at all. If I had to point something out, it would be that the breakfast selection felt limited. It could have more variety.

    I use this place because the car can be parked and taken out freely at no charge. The luxury twin room is spacious (43 square meters) and offers a good view. However, this time I was bothered by voices until around midnight. Could it be because the building is old? There was also a problem with the closet light, as it wouldn't turn off even when closed. It seemed like the fixture was detached. The front desk being on an upper floor made check-in take a bit longer, which was a slight concern, but the service was good. I will use this place again when staying in Nagoya.
