Disappointing breakfast
I have decided to stay at this Hotel in Nagoya. Thank you to all the staff for always making my stay comfortable. However, I am always disappointed with the quality, variety, and lack of fruits in the breakfast ingredients. Hotels in Nagoya generally have a high breakfast standard, so I hope you can raise the level even if it means increasing the price. This is just my personal wish and opinion. Sorry. I look forward to your continued service.

The Espacio Lounge had improved a lot.
I stayed at Espacio for a Multiple Night Stay, and truly enjoyed both days. The lounge had an excellent selection of alcohol, which was a real treat for anyone who likes drinks. There were many types of sake, all of great quality. The local craft beer was great, and so were the other options. They even had champagne—not just sparkling wine—which was impressive. For those who don’t drink alcohol, there was also a wide variety of soft drinks. The tea was Ronnefeldt, including organic options—perfect for tea lovers with high standards. The cakes are Hotel-made, so they looked beautiful and tasted great. I learned from a Review that you can create your own original afternoon tea set there, and it was fun to do. The hot meals during cocktail time were delicious as well. At night, we went to Puerto, the main bar on the first-floor lobby level. It seems they have an award-winning female bartender as well. With its calm atmosphere and energetic staff, it was almost full. Breakfast was enjoyable because it felt different from other places’ offerings. You can choose from five options; I had Hatcho miso oden both mornings, and it was wonderfully flavorful with the taste fully soaked in—absolutely delicious. Everything showed thoughtful creativity; if I’d had more room in my stomach (and if only I’d made a Reservation!), I would have gone back for seconds. Their carefully selected eggs were also excellent. I heard the chefs did multiple tastings before deciding on them. When people think of Aichi, tebasaki chicken wings, hitsumabushi eel rice, and miso katsu often come to mind, but here they incorporated many local items not only into those dishes but also into snacks, vegetables, and light meals. Every time slot offered light bites with a distinct Aichi touch—and everything tasted great. My family especially loved the vegetable étuvée and mushrooms. This stay was incredibly relaxing thanks to Espacio’s warm attentiveness, wonderful service, and refreshing smiles from the staff. Their experience and hospitality—being able to match guests’ conversation topics naturally—was outstanding. Espacio has improved so much that it has become a Hotel I want to return to. Thank you very much. One small disappointment: like some Reviews mentioned about the Room refrigerator drinks—I might have preferred how it used to be before. After checkout we stopped by Jardin in the first-floor lobby lounge area and enjoyed an accordion performance as well. It was three wonderful days fully enjoying Nagoya Kanko Hotel (Nagoya 관광 Hotel). As noted in Reviews: since the parking garage is older، some turns are a bit narrow—but unlike many other hotels، having free parking is definitely appreciated.

The New Year’s Eve countdown was wonderful.
The best part was the New Year’s Eve countdown. While enjoying champagne and amuse-bouches, we listened to a live band (drums, piano, violin, and vocals). In the end, the audience joined in and it became very lively. There was even an encore. It was a truly wonderful countdown. The staff’s calligraphy performance on New Year’s Day was also amazing. From behind me I heard some ladies saying, “I’m so moved I could cry.” The Chinese dinner at Ryujoh was served smoothly despite it being year-end, and the live-tank seafood dishes were as consistently delicious as always. Breakfast via Room Service on New Year’s Day was delivered right on time. Although we decided to stay at the last minute, all of the Accommodation staff were very kind and made our stay comfortable. I also bought a lucky bag. I was surprised to find a whole cake inside; we borrowed cutlery and enjoyed it in our Room. In the final raffle, all seven tickets were losers and we received one restaurant discount voucher, which we used soon after. Still, since the expiry is long and we’re locals who can use it, it would have been nice to receive a little more.

Central Guesthouse
There are many hotels named "Tourist Hotel" across the whole country, but this was the most exceptional tourist hotel I have ever experienced. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was guided to an elevator and checked in while seated on the 6th floor. The room attendant was a foreign staff member who spoke fluent Japanese and provided excellent service. On the 6th floor, there was an exclusive lounge for guests where Nagoya's traditional snacks and beverages were freely available. The room offered a view of an upper-floor park with beautiful scenery. Breakfast included a live omelet kitchen, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After checking out, I noticed several black luxury cars parked at the entrance on the first floor—it turned out to be for Nagoya's four major economic organizations' New Year meeting.

The building has an old feel.
The building looks unchanged from the past, but once you step inside, it feels luxurious and new. It was strange that there were no bath additives among the Room amenities. Also, there were juices and canned beers in the freezer, but there was no paper indicating the price, so it was unclear whether they were complimentary or charged.

Satisfaction

A wonderful space
The bellman's welcoming smile was refreshing and left a good impression. What is the pleasant fragrance on the 18th floor during check-in? It makes me feel very comfortable and elegant. The mini hamburgers at the lounge's afternoon tea, which I was looking forward to, were delicious. I wished the cakes were a bit more refined. In the evening, there was a wide variety of dishes and snacks, and I was quite full. The variety of alcoholic beverages is also abundant, making it perfect for those who enjoy drinking. The lounge breakfast was luxurious, with dishes available on separate plates in addition to the buffet. The orange juice and tomato juice, only available at breakfast, were also good. The room was convenient, with a calm interior, and having a washer-dryer was especially helpful. It's very appreciated to have less housework to do when returning home. I usually bring loungewear from home, but this time the loungewear here was so comfortable that it wasn't necessary at all. I also realized the quality of Bulgari shampoo and conditioner. We use good products for our hair at home, but Bulgari is indeed different. As a downside, the hair dryer's power is weak, so if you have long hair, it's better to use a quick-dry towel to dry it to some extent before using the dryer. Another issue is the club lounge guests. If there are more than four people, they tend to talk loudly, ruining the atmosphere. However, this is not the hotel's fault, so it's just a matter of bad luck. I read this review before making a reservation and thought I would regret staying only one night, so I booked two nights, which was the right decision. Thanks to that, I was able to relax both physically and mentally, and it was a great stay. Thank you for the meticulous room cleaning. Please convey my gratitude. Lastly, thank you for taking care of us this time. Thank you for the wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time.
I was transferred to Aichi Prefecture, and on weekends, I sometimes stay at hotels in Nagoya City to enjoy dining and shopping. Until now, I have been using the Marriott Bonvoy Amex card, so I usually stayed at Marriott hotels, but this time I decided to stay at a classic hotel in Aichi Prefecture and chose Nagoya Kanko Hotel. The staff's service was excellent, and the facility was clean, allowing us to have a very comfortable time. The drink server, which is available at any time, offered decaf and milk, which was appreciated by us as a couple who cannot consume alcohol or caffeine. My wife also liked it very much, so we would like to stay again in the near future.

I made good memories.
The staff at the Hotel greeted us with smiles, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. We were delighted with the free drinks available on the 6th floor. Collaboration and hospitality are disappointing.
~Three Disappointing Points~ On December 21-22, the Espacio Floor refrigerator usually had Pocari Sweat and orange juice, and since I wasn't feeling well this time, I thought it would be helpful. However, there were 3 beers, 1 cola, and cider, with no Pocari or orange juice. Considering the various preferences of guests and stock, it can't be helped. I wanted fluids in the middle of the night, but the water ran out, and I felt chills, so I didn't have the energy to go to a convenience store. I felt sorry to call during the late-night hours when there are fewer staff, so I called the front desk after 7 a.m. "There are 3 beers, but I don't need them, so if possible, could you change them to Pocari and orange as usual?" It's not dissatisfaction with the refrigerator's contents, but the following three points of response were very disappointing. Disappointing Points: 1. A cold response from a female staff member saying only "I'll check." And even after 15-20 minutes, there was no contact. 2. After nearly 20 minutes with no return contact, I called the front desk again. This time, a male staff member. When I conveyed the previous content, he seemed unaware of it. 3. Finally, after 30 minutes, a bell staff member came to the room. When I handed over a total of 4 bottles (3 beers and 1 cola), in exchange, I received 1 Pocari and 1 complimentary mineral water. (Previously, I was informed at the club lounge that if there was a shortage of water, they would provide it upon request.) Even if water is included in the count, the return of 4 bottles and 2 from the bell staff doesn't match. When I mentioned, "I also requested orange over the phone earlier," the bell staff looked puzzled, as if wondering what this guest was talking about, and responded silently. I reiterated that I would like the usual orange from the refrigerator if available. I also requested an ice pillow due to a fever. Within 5-10 minutes, I received 1 orange and an ice pillow, but it was over 30 minutes since the initial call. To be precise, the return of 4 bottles was matched with 3. The number doesn't matter, but the lack of coordination and empathy, given that I was unwell from the night and unable to go to a convenience store or lounge for drinks due to chills, was very disappointing.

Birthday
I used this place for the first time to celebrate a birthday. From the exterior to the Christmas-themed decorations at the entrance and the guest room, I was able to enjoy a very luxurious and elegant time. The service was kind and courteous, making my stay pleasant. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

As expected of the long-established Hotel!
"To Nagoya, where my mother lived when she was young!" With this destination decided, we visited with three generations. We were relieved by the warm welcome from the bellboy who greeted us at the hotel's carport and the person who temporarily stored our luggage. During that time, every staff member gave the impression of being well-trained. We felt a warm and calm atmosphere from everyone. The room was a classic fourth. Beyond cleanliness, my mother was very pleased with the spacious room for four people together. The view from the room and the 6th-floor lounge, which guests can freely visit, were both wonderful, and every space was luxuriously appointed. The morning buffet the next day was also impressive, with all the dishes being delicious. Seeing a woman of a similar generation dining elegantly alone, I thought, "Next time, me too!" On Monday, when most facilities in Nagoya city are closed, we were happy to relax at the hotel with a checkout time of 12 o'clock. My son and daughter in their 20s were also satisfied, and it was a hotel we would like to stay at again next time. Thank you for taking care of us.

Only the keychain and red hair... were disappointing.
I have used this place several times recently. Starting with the check-in service and the atmosphere of the breakfast venue, this stay was mostly satisfactory. However, upon entering the Room and opening the curtains, I happened to look down and found a rather large keychain and a red hair that the previous guest must have left behind. It was disappointing. The fact that it was in a place where anyone would notice if they opened the curtains means that it can only be assumed that the curtains were not opened. Not only was there no cleaning (inspection) of the curtains and window frames, but they weren't even opened... There was nothing else in particular, so I would like to get over it and stay here again...

The staff is friendly.
The staff greet you so often that it almost feels excessive, giving the hotel a sense of high grade and elegance. The amenities are Bvlgari, and the front desk has a very luxurious feel since its renovation. The lounge for guests offers soft drinks and provides a space to converse with other customers. The Christmas decorations in the lobby were wonderful. I prefer it over Mitsui Garden Premium and Hilton for its calm atmosphere. If I had to say, it would be perfect if there was a large public bath. I stayed for a multiple night stay, but the breakfast was the same every day, so I got a little tired of it (this can't be helped).

The Espacio Lounge was excellent.
I stayed with a friend. Thanks to the IKYU.com member benefits, we were upgraded to a larger room and received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. Although it was the Christmas season, the Christmas decorations inside the hotel were very beautiful. The best part was the DIY afternoon tea time offered in the lounge, which could be enjoyed with champagne. The locally sourced food and drinks provided in the other lounges were also very delicious, and the service from the staff was impeccable, making it a dream hotel stay. However, since my friend and I stayed in a twin room, it would have been nice to have two sets of amenities like brushes and shampoos.

It is a splendid Hotel.
The hotel has a history and is splendid, but the response from the hotel side was not great. The lobby and the stays lounge were lovely, but the room was old. I don't think I will use it again.

I was able to relax.
I stayed at the Espacio Floor for the first time. The room was very spacious and clean, thanks to the Diamond member benefits. Everything was provided, so there was no inconvenience, but I wished there was a chair at the washbasin. The parking lot was old and dark, making it difficult to find where I parked. However, it's a hotel I would like to visit again.

It is a comfortable Hotel.
This time, I made a reservation from this site for sightseeing in Nagoya. It was close to the station, and the entrance was beautifully decorated with a Christmas display. The room was spacious enough to accommodate three beds and a sofa set, and being on a high floor, the view was excellent. The amenities had a pleasant Bvlgari scent, and although I stayed for three nights, it was a comfortable and relaxing room. The library and relaxation space behind the front desk was also lovely. It was supposed to have free drinks, but it was a bit disappointing that the coffee machine was out of order both times I visited. Other than that, it was a wonderful hotel.

I had a comfortable stay.
I reserved a Room on the Espacio Floor. The Room was very clean, and above all, the staff were courteous, making our stay comfortable. I was traveling with my mother, and the Hotel was so comfortable that we kept saying we'd rather stay in the Room than go out (laughs). I will definitely use it again when I travel to Nagoya!

Lounge
The Hotel itself was very clean, and the staff had a sense of professionalism, being very polite and pleasant. Although the bath was a unit, it was very spacious, and I could stretch my legs. The front desk didn't quite look like a front desk, which puzzled me. Haha. The lounge on that floor was a very relaxing space. However, the buffet at the dinner restaurant (maybe separate from the Hotel) was not very good. The room service in the morning was excellent. Thank you very much.

Experience the Espacio Floor
I like hotel stays and often visit hotels with club lounges, so I was interested in the Espacio Lounge and decided to stay. The Espacio Lounge was spacious and comfortable, which was great. Thank you for accommodating the IKYU Diamond benefits as well. However, I noticed after returning that there should have been a turndown service as a benefit of the Espacio Floor, but it was not provided, and I would like to know why. Overall, I am satisfied.

It used to be a luxury hotel.
I use this hotel every year because of its convenient access to the subway. The bedding, front desk furnishings, and some of the front desk staff give a sense that it used to be a luxury hotel. If you think of it as a slightly spacious business hotel, there are no complaints, but considering it as a four-star hotel, it feels a bit off.

Espacio
I had work at a tourist hotel and decided to try Espacio. I wanted to enjoy afternoon tea with a cake stand in the lounge, so I approached the staff, but they responded in a disinterested manner, which was disappointing as I wanted to enjoy my tea in an elegant mood. The food in the lounge wasn't bad, but the champagne and wine were not chilled, which ruined the experience. I have high expectations for the Espacio brand, so please do your best.
