Service Excellence
After work, as I headed to the Hotel entrance via subway, a bellman ran over from afar to assist with my suitcase. Every staff member I passed inside the Hotel greeted me without fail. It feels refreshing, as such hospitality seems less common in recent Hotels. Thanks to the Diamond benefits, my Room was upgraded and had ample space. While the amenities didn’t reflect much effort towards reducing plastic use, I was informed they are transitioning by using up current stock. Though the Room shows its age, it was impeccably clean and comfortable. There were no unpleasant odors on the pillows, and a thoughtfully placed origami crane added a warm touch—truly living up to Okura’s reputation.
