    All the staff provided excellent service. I visit Hamamatsu several times a year, but this was my first time staying at Okura Act City.

    I had a relaxing time.

    We stayed at the accommodation to relax with our family, and it was excellent. We would love to stay again and enjoy the delicious breakfast.

    It was disappointing.

    The meals were very disappointing, even considering the limitations on ingredients during the year-end and New Year period and the challenges of sourcing due to rising prices. The Room was spacious and nice, but I disliked how the humidity from the shower room accumulated throughout the Room due to poor ventilation. It was strange that there were no air purifiers in each Room, which is usually standard in most Hotels. I also noticed that there was a limited amount of tissue, and paper scraps had accumulated at the bottom of the tissue box, which felt unclean. However, overall, I found the Room cleaning to be thorough and satisfactory.

    Hotel staff provide first-class service.

    Stayed on New Year's Eve. Thank you for kindly responding to my inquiry about a forgotten item late at night on New Year's Day. The important item was safely sent to me by mail. I stay here every year, and the staff's service is always excellent. The New Year's dishes, ozoni soup, and pho were delicious.

    Spacious Room, quiet...

    Spacious Room, quiet environment. I really liked the bed and pillows. I had a great night's sleep. Both dinner and breakfast were enjoyed in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I would love to stay here again.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    I usually don't feel a good match with Okura, but for some reason, I always have a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room is on a high floor with great views, and there are no complaints about the facilities or air conditioning. The gauze pajamas, bathrobes, and towels are all soft to the touch. Additionally, the staff's service was excellent, allowing me to relax comfortably. Personally, I also appreciate having a Nespresso machine in the room. Thank you very much!

    Spacious facilities and attentive hospitality

    It was a very pleasant accommodation. The room's facilities were sufficient and clean. The bathtub had plenty of hot water and was spacious. The view was great, allowing for a relaxing stay. Convenient location directly connected to the station. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. All staff were kind and attentive. Ample parking space available. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Hamamatsu.

    Great access, with clean and comfortable rooms.

    I made a reservation on behalf of my elderly parents, and they stayed for 3 nights. From the time of the reservation, your thoughtful suggestions and support were very reassuring and greatly appreciated. My parents, who actually stayed, were extremely satisfied. They especially mentioned that being close to the station, having a spacious room and bed made their stay very comfortable. The concierge also kindly assisted them with sightseeing and dining recommendations, which was a great help. Thanks to you, they had wonderful memories of their trip.

    No special features.

    If considered as a Business Hotel, it's below average. If considered as a City Hotel, it's average. The staff at the front desk and guest services were very accommodating and provided good service.

    I stayed the night b...

    I stayed the night before my business trip. Since it was a Sunday, the price was very reasonable, and I was surprised by the spacious and lovely room! The hotel is directly connected to the station and gave an overall impression of being well-maintained. The view from the room was also fantastic! Perhaps because I had been staying in Kyushu until the day before, I felt that it would have been nice if there were more Hamamatsu-specific dishes in the breakfast selection. That said, everything was delicious!

    This is my second stay. Directly connected to the station, very convenient. Highly recommended if you are staying in Hamamatsu.

    I will stay again.

    The room was clean, the view was great, and I was satisfied. However, the parking lot was complicated, and I was concerned about the unhelpful and unpleasant attitude of one female front desk staff member.

    Please check the facilities.

    Stayed in the corner twin room on the top floor. Although the weather was not ideal, the view was still great. Enjoyed the meals at Toka Rin and the breakfast. However, there was some noise from the plumbing after using the sink, which was a bit concerning. We hope the Facility can check on this.

    Disappointments

    The hotel itself was very beautiful, as expected from the Okura group. On the day of our stay, we attended a wonderful concert in the evening and wanted to savor the lingering emotions afterward by visiting the lounge on the 30th floor, but it was completely dark. With no other choice, we returned to our room and tried to order room service, only to find out it had already ended (it was around 9:45 PM at that time). All other dining options within the hotel were also closed, so we had no choice but to settle for bottled water with our companion. Since this is a hotel connected to a concert hall, one would hope to bask in such an emotional experience on special days like this. It’s truly disappointing that at least the lounge wasn’t open... especially since we came all the way from Sapporo.

    We stayed here as a couple during our summer vacation. The view was great, and the spacious environment made it very comfortable. It would be even better if the Facility were updated a bit more. We would love to stay again.

    Stayed for one night...

    Stayed for one night on a Friday. The room was upgraded, and I stayed on the 42nd floor. The view was great, and I had a relaxing time. Breakfast included freshly made omelets, which were delicious. It's close to the station, and I would like to stay again.

    Great view. Clean Room. It's a pity there's no large public bath.

    The rooms are located on the upper floors, offering a stunning panoramic view of Hamamatsu city. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean. It is an excellent Hotel with no major complaints; however, having a large public bath would have been a nice addition considering recent trends.

    This was my first time using this accommodation. From the moment I inquired via email before my stay, the staff responded very politely, which made me feel at ease. The location near Hamamatsu Station was convenient and easy to find. The luggage storage service both before check-in and after check-out was extremely helpful. The room was clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, which I greatly appreciated. The multi-charging cable provided was also very useful. Not only were the room and services excellent, but all staff members—from the front desk to the cloakroom—were polite and attentive, allowing me to have a comfortable and worry-free stay. I would love to use this accommodation again if I have another opportunity in the future. Thank you so much!

    We were upgraded and...

    We were upgraded and had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed Chinese cuisine for dinner, and everything was delicious. Okura always offers exceptional hospitality, making every visit delightful. We stay here when visiting Ise Jingu and will definitely return next time.

    The staff is friendly.

    We stayed as a family of three (couple and child). Upon entering the room, we found amenities such as toothbrushes prepared for only two people, and no pajamas were provided. We had to call the front desk to have them delivered. Later at night, when preparing to take a bath, we noticed there was no skincare set and had it brought to us as well. It was disappointing that items one would expect to be standard in a hotel of this class were missing. The staff were mostly kind and helpful, making the stay pleasant overall. However, perhaps due to the busy Obon season, there were multiple issues with missing amenities. The parking lot allows long-term parking and is very convenient for those using Hamamatsu Station as a base. The standard floor rooms are older but offer separate bath and toilet areas with sufficient space. While I would consider staying here again when visiting Hamamatsu due to its convenience, I cannot forget how unprepared they were despite knowing the number of guests in advance.

    Facility limitations are undeniable, but the hospitality is exceptional.

    Access from the Shinkansen to the Hotel was unexpectedly confusing. I used the self check-in/out system, but there was only one machine available, and the instructions were too simple, resulting in low usage. The staffed check-in had a long line, while self check-in had no wait time. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and satisfying. The Room had a unit bath style with the sink, toilet, and bathtub all in one space. We stayed in a triple Room as a family, but using a unit bath for family use was quite challenging. Additionally, there was some dust in the Room. The service and hospitality were of excellent quality as expected. It is a good Hotel; however, I might hold off on repeating my stay here for now and consider trying another Hotel next time.

    The air conditioning is not working.

    The air conditioning in the room was not working. When the front desk staff came to check, they mentioned that they had never used air conditioning at home and couldn't tell if it was functioning or not in this room. I found this quite surprising for a hotel. Additionally, there was a musty smell of dust. The Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien no Mori Premier where I stayed the previous day was much better. I will not be using Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu again.

    As expected from a Hotel bearing the prestigious Okura name, it is truly first-class. Access from the station is very convenient. Although many years have passed since its opening, it is well-maintained.

    First time using it.

    It was my first time using this facility, and I found the parking area difficult to locate. It would have been helpful to have more guidance for first-time visitors. It also took some time to find a parking space. The breakfast was standard and felt limited in variety. However, the room's facilities were clean and of high quality, which was very satisfying overall, making the other aspects disappointing.
