We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.

Because it is close to To-ji Temple, we chose to stay here. The front desk staff kindly provided detailed guidance on the parking area, advised us that we might need an umbrella based on the evening weather forecast, explained how to get to sightseeing spots, and gave a thorough overview of the Facility. We stayed here for sightseeing in Kyoto with my father and had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious. The large public bath was wonderful as well—it felt great after a long day of walking. In the morning, my father and I were able to take a walk to To-ji Temple, and we enjoyed a great trip in Kyoto together as parent and child. Thank you very much. For these reasons, I give 5 stars across the board.

This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more international staff members, and we could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and tasty. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. We are satisfied every year, but this time two things stood out: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the same impressive flavor as usual, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning fully. We would like to stay with you again in the coming years as well—thank you in advance. Thank you very much.

I was hardly bothered by noise from the neighboring Room. The Room is small, so there’s limited closet space for hanging clothes, and it would have been nice to have a small set of drawers… but it’s not an expensive Room where I can really complain, and it was only two nights. There’s no free drinking water in the Room, but that’s on me for not reading the Reviews. The best part… breakfast. A few dishes were quite strongly seasoned and made me think “Huh?”, but overall it was delicious. The tofu dishes in particular were great—I’d love to have them again. A good Hotel in a convenient location near the station—very satisfying.

This time, we visited Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone for the first time, looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji as part of my wife’s birthday trip. Although it was too cloudy to see the Mt. Fuji we had hoped for, we stayed at Setsugetsuka Bettei Suiun in Hakone and were able to fully enjoy the area. Our Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was very practical and well maintained with thorough cleaning, so we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me and left me feeling refreshed from the core, and it was also great to be able to use L’OCCITANE shampoo. For dinner, being able to choose the main dish and rice during the meal felt like a thoughtful service that let us decide based on our appetite. Breakfast offered such an abundant variety that we were so full we couldn’t even eat lunch afterward. The after-bath lounge area, along with complimentary drinks and snacks on each floor, was also a welcome service whenever we felt a little hungry. The staff’s hospitality was polite and easy to understand, which left a strong impression on us as well. After checkout we went to Gora Park, and at that time a parking staff member kindly advised us that taking the mountain railway one stop would allow us to walk downhill from top to bottom more easily—very helpful advice for an older couple like us. We hope to come back soon for our “I want to see Mt. Fuji with my own eyes!” revenge trip, and when we do, we would love to stay with you again.

We stayed here on the first night of our two-night trip to Yamagata. The food was excellent, and we were able to try the imoni stew we had been looking forward to at breakfast. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the garden was beautiful. My spouse and I were both very satisfied. The welcome tama-konnyaku was delicious as well.

Although the building is old, it is very well cleaned and the hospitality is excellent, so I think this is an Accommodation you can be truly satisfied with. It was also fun and nostalgic to be able to contact the front desk using a telephone you don’t see these days—perhaps making good use of the property’s vintage charm. One small thing: the yukata brought to me because the size didn’t fit had a slight odor that concerned me a bit. That said, I may simply be overly sensitive. In any case, the service is outstanding, and every staff member provided wonderful hospitality. I was deeply impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. By chance there was a festival that day and we were able to watch fireworks; they even told us the best viewing spot, which made it a great memory. Thank you very much. As for the meals, the rice was cooked perfectly and delicious. The side dishes were excellent as well, but especially how good the rice was stood out. One suggestion: if the green onions in the breakfast miso soup could be lightly cooked in advance, then warming it at the table would make it even tastier—I felt they sometimes didn’t cook through enough with table heating alone. Still, overall everything was extremely delicious. This is an Accommodation I will definitely want to stay at again when I visit Kaminoyama Onsen.

Tatami with beds, very relaxing. Traditional hospitality with tabi socks provided. The bath on the 18th floor offers a stunning night view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from the open-air bath. Breakfast exceeded expectations with New Year's osechi dishes. About 80% of guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, and the bath area was kept clean. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store across the street.

My stay brought back memories of when I lived in Miyako and took my son to the beach. At check-in, the staff kindly came with us to the stairs and showed us how to get to the large public bath and the dining area. During dinner, they checked in on us from time to time—asking, for example, whether we wanted them to remove the crispy rice from our kama-meshi—which we truly appreciated. Breakfast suited my husband and me perfectly, and everything was delicious. They recommended the squid shiokara, saying it was tasty—and it was outstanding. In addition, I felt there were many thoughtful ways to enjoy a stay here, with facilities such as the lounge, footbath, and rooftop terrace. It became a trip that reminded me of raising my sons while looking out at the sea and listening to the sound of the waves. Thank you very much.

I booked because of the great price, but the quality exceeded my expectations and I was extremely satisfied! I especially loved that not only the hair dryer but even the shower head was ReFa.

This is a very quiet and clean Hotel. It’s close to the station, which was really convenient. Both the bed and the shower room were spacious, so I could relax. I didn’t expect amenities like cleansing oil or toner, but there was a great selection of individually packaged items, and plenty of tea bags as well. The staff were friendly and approached me when I seemed to need help. There are several staff members, so I was assisted without having to wait. If I had to mention anything: The spout on the electric kettle was broken. The shower room had a slight odor (from the drain). Breakfast was a little disappointing. Japanese dishes and drinks were well stocked. The bread, pasta, and salads were excellent and delicious, but it was disappointing that some Western-style side dishes were gone (maybe because they were popular). It might have been better to go earlier.

We stayed with a large group, gathering relatives from Ehime and the Kansai area. For our Konpira pilgrimage, the entrance had walking sticks, straw hats, chilled hand towels, and towels prepared, which was very helpful. It was also nice that our grandfather, who wasn’t going to Konpira-san, was allowed to use the lounge before check-in. The indoor bath also had a separate shower room, making it comfortable and relaxing even on rainy or cold days. The Room had a large window, a daybed, and two chairs, so we were able to unwind and relax. Breakfast was an irresistible selection for egg lovers—we really enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the dinner buffet selection. There were a lot of carbohydrates (maybe just local preference), but neither the meat nor fish dishes tasted particularly good, and there wasn’t much we wanted to eat. Still, we were able to relax with drinks again in the lounge afterward, so overall we were satisfied.

I arrived about an hour early and asked if you could store my luggage, but you prepared my Room right away—and even upgraded me since there was availability. The Room was clean, I could enjoy tea in the lobby, and I was able to relax in the bath with bath salts. All the staff were friendly and welcoming with great smiles—perfect service. It’s also close to the market, and Kenrokuen Garden is about a 20-minute walk away, making for a pleasant stroll. Thank you very much.

I originally made a Reservation for two nights, from 8/2 to 8/4. Later, I added a Reservation for 8/1, and only smoking Rooms were available, so I thought that even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, I would have to change Rooms. However, you arranged it as a three-night non-smoking stay. Thank you for the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration. Thanks to you, I had a very comfortable stay.

The Room was very spacious, and the children were thrilled as soon as we arrived. During dinner, one of our children suddenly felt unwell, and we really appreciated how quickly you brought towels, a bag, and a chair so we could sit in the hallway. Once they felt better, our child said they want to stay again. Thank you very much.

From the Room, we enjoyed a beautiful view of fresh greenery. The birdsong was also soothing. For meals, we were shown to a private dining room, and could dine in a luxurious atmosphere. The view from the open-air bath was outstanding, and all our stress melted away. This is a Hotel that makes you want to come back. We will visit again.

I was surprised to find someone else being guided to my seat when I returned after getting food during breakfast. Even though there was an "in use" sign on the table and I had left my salad bowl there.

The Room was clean and spacious, and the bedding—including the pillows—was thoughtfully maintained to prevent odors, making for a very comfortable stay. I stayed here due to moving and was completely exhausted, but I was able to rest well. The bathroom was also spacious, which was great. I’ve stayed at other Sotetsu Fresa Inn locations as well and think they offer excellent value for money.

I stayed here the night before a last-minute hiking trip. There’s a convenience store very close by, which was really helpful. Thank you.

It was a highly satisfying stay. The Room was clean and well maintained, and we were able to relax comfortably. The staff were polite and kind, and we truly felt their warm hospitality. For dinner, we could choose kamameshi from three options and enjoyed it freshly made. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes to go with rice, so satisfying that we ended up eating more than usual. Although the bath is not a natural Onsen, it was spacious and very relaxing, helping us fully recover from travel fatigue. The location is excellent and very convenient as a base for sightseeing. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Arashiyama.
