Alkuin Kurosaki

It was the weekend right before the Obon holidays, so every Accommodation was expensive and I was looking for somewhere affordable. Since it was cheap, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was clean, the shampoo and other amenities were POLA, the room size was just right for a solo stay, and I was satisfied with the breakfast curry and bread. I was able to park at a nearby parking lot for only 600 yen. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Kitakyushu. Thank you very much.

I stay here every year because we have an annual reunion and end up drinking until late at night. I’ve stayed at both Alkuin and Alkuin+, but I prefer Alkuin because it has a waiting area near the front desk. I stayed on the Saturday before Obon, and it was fully booked. It’s a clean Hotel in an easy-to-find location right by the station, but even when I check in around 5:00 PM each year, the affiliated parking lot (next to the Hotel) is already full and I can’t park there. There are plenty of other parking lots nearby, so it’s not a problem. Breakfast includes several kinds of stylish bread, curry, soup, salad, and a few types of drinks—more than enough for this price. I’ll be staying again next year.
