[Resort Hygiene Measures] At Hot Cross Point Santa Monica, we implement the following hygiene measures and management practices in accordance with guidelines and rules recommended by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, so that guests can enjoy a safer and more comfortable stay. [Hygiene Management] - If a guest is found to be unwell, we will assist them in receiving medical attention promptly. - All air-conditioning units throughout the property, including guest rooms, operate 24 hours a day even when rooms are vacant to help ensure continuous fresh-air circulation. - Water-based alcohol disinfectant is available throughout the resort for both guests and staff. - Based on resort-wide disinfection procedures and SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for food handling, staff receive training in hygiene management, including cleaning methods for guest areas. [Disinfection Procedures] - We disinfect by wiping down indoor areas including public spaces using “HB Quat,” a sanitizing agent capable of virus inactivation. - We also regularly wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as the front desk counter, doorknobs, light switches, telephones, touch panels, elevator buttons, remote controls, vending machines, and more. - For Shuttle Service vehicles and buses, we place an in-vehicle virus-inactivation product containing chlorine dioxide as its main ingredient and perform wipe-down disinfection inside the vehicle after each boarding/alighting. [Restaurant] - In the dining area and on the terrace seating area alike, guests are guided to seats arranged with appropriate spacing. - Cutlery; tableware; and glassware are washed and sanitized using high-temperature dishwashers.
