[COVID-19 Measures] At The Shigira, we continuously strive to create an environment where guests can stay with peace of mind by prioritizing the health and safety of both our guests and employees. We have implemented the following COVID-19 measures. [Hygiene Management] - If a guest is found to be unwell, we will provide support so they can promptly receive medical attention. - All air-conditioning units throughout the property, including guest rooms, operate 24 hours a day even when rooms are vacant, to ensure continuous ventilation with fresh air. - Water-based alcohol hand sanitizer is available for guests and staff throughout the resort grounds. - Based on resort-wide disinfection procedures and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for food handling, staff receive hygiene management training such as cleaning methods for guest service areas. [Disinfection Procedures] - We disinfect by wiping down all indoor areas, including public spaces, using “HB Quat,” a disinfectant capable of inactivating viruses. - We also wipe and disinfect frequently touched surfaces (front desk counters, door handles, light switches, telephones, touch panels, elevator buttons, remote controls, vending machines, etc.). - For Shuttle Service vehicles and buses, we place an in-vehicle virus-inactivation product containing chlorine dioxide as its main ingredient and perform wipe-down disinfection inside the vehicle after each boarding/alighting. [Restaurants] - In dining areas and on terrace seating alike, guests are guided to seats arranged with appropriate spacing. - Cutlery; tableware; and glassware are washed and sanitized using high-temperature dishwashers.
