The Room is comfortable with a pleasant view, and you can enjoy the nearby Heart Rock all to yourself on an early morning walk. The homemade vegetable-rich breakfast prepared by the warm and kind owner was also very delicious.

I had dietary requirements, and after informing them in advance, they accommodated me with great care and attention to detail. Every staff member provided excellent service, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again!

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

It was absolutely wonderful. Given the price, we had high expectations, but it exceeded them. The first floor had three bedrooms, two toilets, one bathroom, and one TV. My cousin and I each stayed in separate rooms. The living room on the second floor had a wall of windows... my cousin was amazed by how beautiful the sunrise looked through them. The bath was spacious and luxurious; I enjoyed a relaxing soak. However, it was slightly inconvenient that there were no hair ties or a tabletop mirror available... The staff's service was excellent as well. We received one coffee voucher and one beer voucher each but were kindly allowed to exchange them for two coffee vouchers instead—thank you! My cousin from Yokohama and I are already talking about staying in a different building next year!

We stayed at Kamogawa 919, a traditional house sauna Accommodation, as a group with friends. First of all, the atmosphere was stylish and welcoming. While preserving the charm of an old traditional home, it was also very clean and comfortable. The sauna we had been looking forward to was an authentic wood-fired sauna—something you rarely get to experience in central Tokyo. The gentle, enveloping heat unique to firewood felt wonderful, and being able to enjoy löyly ourselves was another highlight. After working up a good sweat, we relaxed outdoors while watching the beautiful sunset from the veranda. Listening to birdsong and feeling the natural breeze as we unwound was pure bliss—it instantly melted away everyday fatigue. In the evening, we cooked together using fresh local ingredients we had bought nearby and enjoyed a laid-back time with drinks in hand. Spending time chatting with like-minded friends was truly special—a luxurious experience you can’t easily find in the city. Surrounded by nature, we were able to fully enjoy the sauna, meals, and time with friends. It was an outstanding Accommodation that refreshed both body and mind. We’d love to stay again.

I have experienced almost all luxury vacations in Japan, but the support here is undoubtedly the best in the country. We ended up staying on a day when a severe cold wave hit, and upon mentioning the cold, they immediately went out to purchase and set up a heater for us. Despite being a large facility, it was impeccably clean with no complaints about cleanliness. Even though it was a vacation stay, their thorough support allowed us to feel at ease during our accommodation. In contrast to another nearby new facility called N ○○tami where even the main power for the sauna wasn’t turned on and inquiries were poorly handled—making it impossible to use the sauna—this place responded promptly to everything we needed. The staff quality here is comparable to that of butlers at The Ritz Hotel. It’s clear that the owner is very competent. The location is also wonderful and provided an excellent change of pace. Thank you so much! On particularly cold days, having heaters in each room would be even better; however, during daytime hours, sunlight streamed in beautifully and kept us warm enough.

I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have stayed at many Accommodations throughout the whole country, and this was truly our number one—an Accommodation we sincerely want to return to. What impressed us most was the privacy that comes with renting an entire villa and the peaceful setting where we could relax without worrying about anyone around us. We spent a leisurely time by the pool, enjoying a luxurious moment where time seemed to slow down. In the evening, we invited friends who live on Ishigaki Island and enjoyed a barbecue. With perfect weather, watching the scenery shift from Ishigaki’s beautiful sunset to a sky full of stars is an unforgettable memory. It felt less like a Hotel stay and more like spending time in our own private luxury villa—an exceptional experience. The Room was spotless down to every detail, and the Facility, amenities, and even the selection of drinks in the refrigerator were excellent. It was high-quality yet comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. At night, everything was wonderfully quiet, and we were able to fully relax both body and mind. Thanks to Gokkaiseitei, our anniversary became a truly special memory. For anyone who wants to spend an extraordinary time on Ishigaki Island or celebrate an important occasion with someone special, this is an Accommodation we can confidently recommend. Next time, we would love to book a Multiple Night Stay so we can savor this luxury even more slowly. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal, we were able to relax without worrying about time. The Room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Meals were served in a quiet setting and flexibly adjusted to our pace, allowing us to enjoy everything deliciously. It was a Hotel we would love to stay at again.

The traditional red-tiled roof cottage provided a wonderful space. The washing machine and dryer were very convenient. We enjoyed strolling through the streets of Taketomi Island and, after watching the stunning sunset at Nishisanbashi on the complimentary bicycles, we were treated to a breathtaking starry sky with a clear view of the Milky Way. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious. Thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. Our visit to Taketomi Island as a couple after 10 years became an unforgettable memory.

This was our first stay as three families. The service was excellent, and the meals were luxurious and delicious!! It was also close to the West Pier, so we went for walks there many times. We would definitely like to stay again.

I chose to stay here because the exterior and interior photos were so striking, and I was also drawn to the fact that it is operated by a public interest incorporated association that supports children with intractable illnesses and their families. The welcome drink and sweets, as well as the complimentary drinks, all had a distinctly Okinawan touch and were truly enjoyable. The staff’s service was polite yet friendly and warm, which left a strong impression. The private bath is used on a time-slot rotation, but since there aren’t many guest groups staying at once, it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. The spacious bath allowed me to relax comfortably. It drizzled lightly at night, and watching raindrops fall onto the water feature in the center of the building and ripple outward felt wonderfully magical. The next morning was sunny, so we had breakfast in the lush garden while surrounded by pleasant morning light. I was able to enjoy Okinawan dishes and fruits that are not easy to come across in everyday life—it was deeply satisfying. In particular, the island banana smoothie served before breakfast was so delicious that I honestly wanted seconds (haha). It was only one night, but it was a truly lovely Accommodation where I could step away from daily life and spend quiet, peaceful time.

Dinner was outstanding! Every dish served was delicious. I’d love to have the octopus steak and the simmered clams again. The mozuku seaweed was a variety I don’t usually see, and the recommended “Gyorokke” was also very satisfying. It’s an Accommodation for food lovers that I’d like to visit again.

My family visiting from overseas stayed here. As soon as they arrived at Tenku, they were impressed by the beautiful views, and they were also happy that the outdoor bath has a water heater, making it easy to use. Although the building isn’t very large, they were impressed by how comfortable and well designed it is. However, the bathroom felt quite small. They were surprised by the small bathroom, but throughout their stay they kept saying, “We want to come again.”

We stay here every year during the Obon holidays. The atmosphere is calm, and everything is thoroughly cleaned, so it feels like coming back home (to my parents’ house). It’s truly relaxing. Thank you again for this year as well. We were able to do everything we had planned, right on schedule. There are popular roadside stations and beaches nearby, so the area gets crowded at this time of year, but Mihama House and its surroundings are very quiet and soothing. We could really unwind from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to staying again next year.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The three of us—my 92-year-old mother, my husband, and I—found and chose this Accommodation online, and everything was excellent. We were able to relax in the renovated Japanese-style Room and bedroom. Although it is an Accommodation where you can stay with your dog, it felt very clean, and it seemed that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The meals were also very delicious, and the boat platter was more than we could finish. It was disappointing that we couldn’t go cruising due to the typhoon, but since it was before summer vacation there were no crowds, we could get around smoothly, and we fully enjoyed a wonderful trip to Izu. Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed here while looking for an Accommodation that offers a fishing experience, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The fishing experience was especially fun and became a wonderful travel memory. All the staff were cheerful, and their hospitality was excellent throughout. They even celebrated our wedding, which truly moved us. We really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were also very satisfying—one luxurious dish after another, including kuruma prawns, spiny lobster, tempura, and more. Everything was delicious; it’s a dream for seafood lovers. The Onsen was relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked, so we could stay comfortably. The views, food, and service were all outstanding—an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.
