We stayed in a cabin. The facilities were new, very clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked not only with tableware and cooking utensils, but also with consumables such as paper towels and plastic wrap, which was very helpful. In the central plaza, we could borrow items like a frisbee and giant badminton set from the front desk and play. The kids were able to play to their heart’s content and were very happy. As an aside, our whole family loved the scent of the provided hand soap, so we found ourselves washing our hands often.

This was our first trip staying with our dog, so we were a little nervous at first, but we had a truly wonderful time! The Room was very clean, and we really appreciated the owner’s thoughtful attention to detail and kind, courteous support. Above all, the view was amazing! The dog run was spacious enough for small dogs, and our dog happily ran around and had a great time. Our kids also said, “We want to come again!”, and our whole family enjoyed a lovely stay together. We would definitely love to stay here again with our dog.

The meals were delicious, just as the reviews said. The hospitable service was also excellent. Being able to rent a car made the trip very comfortable. Thank you very much!

Winter crab, early-summer white squid, and the salt-kiln-grilled abalone we always request as an optional add-on. At Waraku, you can enjoy seasonal delicacies throughout the year, but this time we tried their limited-time wild tiger pufferfish course for the first time, available only around Golden Week. We were truly impressed by the depth of Yuhigaura’s seafood. The beautifully presented sashimi platter (tessa) had a pleasantly chewy texture and was so delicious it ranks No. 1 among all the meals we’ve had at accommodations! The grilled milt was also exceptionally large, plump, and rich—perfect with Waraku’s own-label Junmai Daiginjo sake. And in this season especially, the private garden by the detached guest room feels at its most beautiful, with blooming flowers and vivid green moss. Whenever we’re worn out from everyday life and want to relax and feel restored, we always visit Waraku to Clear our minds.

I had dietary requirements, and after informing them in advance, they accommodated me with great care and attention to detail. Every staff member provided excellent service, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again!

I stayed in Building B, Jihākayā. I love it so much that I’d like to stay long-term. When I finally got to stay at Sachibaru a year and a half ago, it was also in Building B, and I liked it so much that I kept thinking, “I want to go again,” but the timing never worked out and a year and a half passed. Last time, Hamabe no Chaya was being renovated, but this time I was able to have breakfast there! You could spend the whole day there. Of course, Yama no Chaya is wonderful too. I’ll do my best to find another chance to stay again.

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

We stayed at Kamogawa 919, a traditional house sauna Accommodation, as a group with friends. First of all, the atmosphere was stylish and welcoming. While preserving the charm of an old traditional home, it was also very clean and comfortable. The sauna we had been looking forward to was an authentic wood-fired sauna—something you rarely get to experience in central Tokyo. The gentle, enveloping heat unique to firewood felt wonderful, and being able to enjoy löyly ourselves was another highlight. After working up a good sweat, we relaxed outdoors while watching the beautiful sunset from the veranda. Listening to birdsong and feeling the natural breeze as we unwound was pure bliss—it instantly melted away everyday fatigue. In the evening, we cooked together using fresh local ingredients we had bought nearby and enjoyed a laid-back time with drinks in hand. Spending time chatting with like-minded friends was truly special—a luxurious experience you can’t easily find in the city. Surrounded by nature, we were able to fully enjoy the sauna, meals, and time with friends. It was an outstanding Accommodation that refreshed both body and mind. We’d love to stay again.

I have experienced almost all luxury vacations in Japan, but the support here is undoubtedly the best in the country. We ended up staying on a day when a severe cold wave hit, and upon mentioning the cold, they immediately went out to purchase and set up a heater for us. Despite being a large facility, it was impeccably clean with no complaints about cleanliness. Even though it was a vacation stay, their thorough support allowed us to feel at ease during our accommodation. In contrast to another nearby new facility called N ○○tami where even the main power for the sauna wasn’t turned on and inquiries were poorly handled—making it impossible to use the sauna—this place responded promptly to everything we needed. The staff quality here is comparable to that of butlers at The Ritz Hotel. It’s clear that the owner is very competent. The location is also wonderful and provided an excellent change of pace. Thank you so much! On particularly cold days, having heaters in each room would be even better; however, during daytime hours, sunlight streamed in beautifully and kept us warm enough.

I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have stayed at many Accommodations throughout the whole country, and this was truly our number one—an Accommodation we sincerely want to return to. What impressed us most was the privacy that comes with renting an entire villa and the peaceful setting where we could relax without worrying about anyone around us. We spent a leisurely time by the pool, enjoying a luxurious moment where time seemed to slow down. In the evening, we invited friends who live on Ishigaki Island and enjoyed a barbecue. With perfect weather, watching the scenery shift from Ishigaki’s beautiful sunset to a sky full of stars is an unforgettable memory. It felt less like a Hotel stay and more like spending time in our own private luxury villa—an exceptional experience. The Room was spotless down to every detail, and the Facility, amenities, and even the selection of drinks in the refrigerator were excellent. It was high-quality yet comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. At night, everything was wonderfully quiet, and we were able to fully relax both body and mind. Thanks to Gokkaiseitei, our anniversary became a truly special memory. For anyone who wants to spend an extraordinary time on Ishigaki Island or celebrate an important occasion with someone special, this is an Accommodation we can confidently recommend. Next time, we would love to book a Multiple Night Stay so we can savor this luxury even more slowly. Thank you very much.

Dinner was outstanding! Every dish served was delicious. I’d love to have the octopus steak and the simmered clams again. The mozuku seaweed was a variety I don’t usually see, and the recommended “Gyorokke” was also very satisfying. It’s an Accommodation for food lovers that I’d like to visit again.

My family visiting from overseas stayed here. As soon as they arrived at Tenku, they were impressed by the beautiful views, and they were also happy that the outdoor bath has a water heater, making it easy to use. Although the building isn’t very large, they were impressed by how comfortable and well designed it is. However, the bathroom felt quite small. They were surprised by the small bathroom, but throughout their stay they kept saying, “We want to come again.”

This was our first trip to Shikoku, traveling with my mother, who turned 87 during our stay. At first we considered a hotel, but we wanted to minimize walking with luggage, so we found this place and decided to stay here. All the tableware was provided, which made it perfect for celebrating her birthday. The shops are far away, so be sure to plan ahead—it’s best to buy what you need before you arrive. You can park right in front of the entrance, making luggage easy; we could relax without worrying about anyone else—and above all, the view was amazing! Just sitting on the sofa and gazing out was so refreshing, and my mother kept saying “Amazing!” and was absolutely delighted. The room is wonderful—we even found ourselves saying how nice it would be to live in a house like this. We originally planned to go sightseeing during the day and only spend nights here, but it was so comfortable that we changed plans and came back during sightseeing for breaks instead. The books provided also have great taste. I think you could easily spend an entire day just relaxing there without any sightseeing at all. Since three of us stayed two nights with breakfast included, there were six kinds of bagels—sharing them and trying different flavors was a real treat. My mother suddenly said she wanted ice cream, and we were happy that there was an unmanned stand right nearby where we could buy some immediately. They also sold olive oil and olive tea, so we were able to pick up some great souvenirs as well. We’d love to come again!

Thank you for taking care of us during our visit home to my parents. 　 When I made the Reservation, I didn’t know there would be a fireworks festival on our stay date, and only realized it the day before. I called to ask about traffic restrictions, and your staff explained everything very kindly, which allowed us to head there with peace of mind. 　 At check-in, the parking area and how to use the Facility were explained clearly, and we also received helpful advice related to the fireworks festival. The service was very pleasant. I also accidentally left my car key at the counter, but you went out of your way to find it and bring it back to me—thank you very much. 　 The Room was spacious and well maintained, so we were able to stay comfortably. However, since it is a pension-style Accommodation, soundproofing is slightly weak. We could hear children from a family staying upstairs running around. The noise continued past the designated quiet time (10:00 PM), so I informed a staff member; after a while it quieted down, so I believe you took some kind of action. 　 The location is convenient: there is a 24-hour supermarket nearby as well as public baths and restaurants, so even with No Meals Included we had no trouble at all. Cooking utensils, tableware, and an IH cooktop are fully provided as well, so self-catering is not an issue. 　 Shirarahama Beach is about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to go swimming in the sea. We were able to watch the fireworks up close that day and were extremely satisfied. 　 This was an Accommodation I would like to use again when I have another chance. Thank you very much!

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed at the accommodation again this year following last year. The owner warmly said, "Welcome back," and I found myself replying, "I'm back." In the morning, I enjoyed a walk on the private beach right in front of the accommodation, basking in the sunrise and searching for shells. At night, I spent time on the rooftop gazing at the star-filled sky, experiencing a lifestyle I can't usually enjoy. Breakfast was different every morning, and opening the delivered basket became something to look forward to. I highly recommend reserving dinner during your stay. The owner and chef remembered our conversations from last year and even improved upon the ingredients we praised, offering the best hospitality, delicious meals, and enjoyable conversations. This stay gave me the opportunity to reflect on my approach to work, relationships with others, and daily life, making it a truly wonderful vacation. Thank you very much.

My time at SONEKA was an unforgettable, truly special experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the refined atmosphere, the comforting warmth within the quiet surroundings, and the strong sense of privacy throughout the space. The hospitality from all staff members was exceptional. Their thoughtful attention to detail could be felt everywhere, and each interaction was filled with warmth and sincerity—I genuinely felt welcomed as a valued guest. The dining far exceeded my expectations. Each dish showcased the best of Hokkaido’s ingredients, not only in flavor but also in aroma, with house-made herbs and beautifully artistic presentation. I also thoroughly enjoyed spending that private dining time chatting with the staff—it made the experience even more memorable. The plant-based natural free-flowing moor hot spring bath was also incredibly soothing. Before my stay, I didn’t consider it an inexpensive rate—but after experiencing everything firsthand, that impression has completely changed. The facilities, service, and cuisine are all of the highest standard, offering more than enough value for the price. I can confidently recommend this wonderful property to anyone looking for a truly special getaway. I’ll be saving up to return for sure! For these reasons, I gave it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 rating across the board.

We stayed as a couple, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay were incredible, and it was especially memorable to relax in the private open-air bath in our room while gazing at Mt. Fuji. We also appreciated the spaciousness—each room is over 150 m²—and the serene, calming atmosphere enhanced by lacquer art, which truly made it feel like a special getaway. We quietly enjoyed the sunset from the Sunset Viewing Terrace, and the sea breeze on the deck terrace was wonderfully refreshing. Throughout our stay, we felt completely relaxed. Dinner was creative Japanese cuisine served in a private dining room, and every original dish highlighting seasonal ingredients was delicious. Thank you very much for accommodating an earlier breakfast time on our checkout day. We truly appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. Next time, we would love to visit when we can stay longer and take things even more slowly. A wonderful property that we can confidently recommend.
