The guest rooms, including the terrace, are spaciously designed with over 60 square meters. Our natural Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water will ease your tension and promise a relaxing moment. In addition to the natural Onsen, we also offer facilities such as a stone sauna, lava bath, fitness gym with an attached studio, fitness pool, and outdoor heated pool.

With only 11 rooms in total, including 6 suite rooms, we offer a refined stay reserved for a select few. To ensure you can enjoy bathing in complete privacy without concern for other guests, we do not have a large public bath; instead, we provide three private reservable baths. Enjoy a blissful time that soothes both body and mind. In the Premium Lounge, you can savor carefully selected local sake and light snacks. For dinner, Hida Beef Specialty Ryokan Ichiryu proudly serves top-graded No. 11 and No. 12 cuts among A5-rank Hida beef, offered in a private dining room. Opened on September 2, 2007. Named “Masuichi Kyakuden” from the owner’s wish: “We would have loved to welcome you into our own home…”. Designed by architect John Morford—who also designed “Kurabu” and the main store of Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery—this Accommodation is his vision of where he would want to stay when visiting Obuse. Centered around three earthen storehouses relocated from a long-established sugar wholesaler in Nagano, it comprises seven wooden buildings, with interiors fully furnished in Western style.

Narai-juku, with a 400-year history on the Nakasendo, remains as Japan's longest post town, preserving much of its original charm. Located at the midpoint of the 69 stations of the Nakasendo, this post town flourished with many travelers and was affectionately known as "Narai Senken." As we inherit four historical buildings as the Property BYAKU Narai, we have chosen not to give each building a new name. Instead, we decided to return to the "yago" (traditional house names) passed down from the Edo period, such as calling the sake brewery "Suginomori Shuzo," established in 1793 and a symbol of the town, "Toshiyoshiya." The 16 Rooms are unique and diverse, utilizing the structures of the four historical buildings, each with different layouts and purposes.
