This is a Property located in Makino Highland, Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture. Enjoy a relaxing stay while taking in the seasonal landscapes. The Property consists of nine private Rooms ranging from 6 to 8 tatami mats, one 16-tatami Room (which can be divided into two), and a large 30-tatami Room for group training camps. Our Property is situated next to the Metasequoia tree-lined road, offering views of rural landscapes, the Takashima Trail, and the Nosaka mountain range. The main building, a 100-year-old traditional inn, features six private Rooms on the second floor. The first floor includes a tatami dining space and an irori (traditional Japanese hearth) area available during the autumn and winter seasons. This Property is versatile and can accommodate various purposes such as Biwaichi cycling (cycling around Lake Biwa), motorcycle touring, business stays, long-term work stays, sightseeing, sports training camps, cultural retreats, forest schools, and outdoor activities. The main building showcases traditional architecture with a curved roof, pillars made of zelkova and cypress, flooring crafted from chestnut wood, pine beams, walls finished with plaster and diatomaceous earth, and features such as an irori, zelkova hibachi, Sendoku hibachi (winter use), kerosene lamps, and shaded light bulbs. It offers a space where you can feel the blessings of nature and coexist with it, creating a "time travel experience to the good old days."
