Our accommodation follows the basic policies for COVID-19 prevention advised by the Japan Tourism Agency and based on guidelines created by the Japan Ryokan Association. We are committed to implementing proactive measures to ensure infection prevention, prioritizing the safety and peace of mind of our guests. Below are our safety measures:
*These measures will be updated and improved as necessary.*
1. **Health Management**
- All employees (full-time, part-time, temporary staff) undergo temperature checks and hand sanitization upon reporting to work. Employees with a fever of 37.5°C or higher are required to stay home and consult a medical institution.
- If symptoms such as fever occur during work hours, employees must report to management, leave immediately, and seek medical attention promptly.
- Upon check-in, we confirm the health condition of all guests in your party. Temperature checks may be conducted if there are any concerns about health conditions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
2. **Hygiene Management**
- All staff wear masks while welcoming and serving guests.
- In addition to regular cleaning tasks, we disinfect room items (keys, refrigerators, remote controls, doorknobs, handrails), elevator buttons, restrooms, shared spaces regularly using alcohol or hypochlorous acid water.
- Alcohol-based sanitizers are placed at reception desks, dining area entrances, elevator lobbies on each floor as well as other shared spaces.
- Frequent disinfection is carried out by front desk staff during operations.
- Acrylic panels have been installed at reception desks and shops.
- Meals served in dining areas are prepared with thorough disinfection beforehand.
3. **Ensuring Safe Stays by Avoiding "Three Cs" (Closed Spaces/ Crowded Places/ Close Contact)**
**Avoiding "Closed Spaces":**
1) Regular ventilation is conducted in front desk areas and lobbies.
2) Guest rooms will be ventilated before check-in; we kindly ask for your cooperation in periodic ventilation during your stay.
**Avoiding "Crowded Places":**
1) For plans including meals at our dining facilities: private rooms or tables spaced apart will be provided where possible.
2) Social distancing markers have been placed for waiting areas during check-in & check-out processes.
3) Shuttle service is arranged one group at a time; delays may occur depending on timing—thank you for understanding.
**Avoiding "Close Contact":**
1) Meal service frequency has been minimized wherever possible so that close interactions between guests & staff can also remain limited.
We resumed operations starting February 8th while continuing these efforts diligently! Please note adjustments might arise depending upon evolving circumstances ahead too!
All team members strive wholeheartedly toward ensuring every guest enjoys their visit comfortably under safe conditions here always! Thank You Kindly For Supporting Us Together
