    I love Yugawara.Shiroyama’s radon Onsen is excellent, and if you’re traveling by train, it’s about a 3-minute walk from Yugawara Station.The convenient access is a plus, and I also like that the baths can be used for day trips.The meals are delicious, the staff are pleasant, and I enjoy the quiet atmosphere throughout the Hotel.I’d like to visit again.

  • A spontaneous solo trip

    Feeling worn out, I decided on a last-minute solo trip. The weather was nice, but rain was forecast for the next day, so I made a Reservation near the station with dinner included. The result was a beautifully kept Room—almost too nice for one person. Even after check-in, it was easy to take the bus from the station for a walk and get back without hassle. After that, I headed to the Onsen. With cherry blossom season over and between Golden Week holidays, there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could soak in peace without running into many people and felt completely refreshed. I ended up bathing four times before leaving. Dinner was served in a semi-private dining area, so dining alone didn’t bother me at all. There were many dishes, everything was delicious, and I ate far too much rice from the ohitsu—very satisfying. Breakfast was also tasty, but I especially liked having a private-style setting at dinner.

【2023-2024 Room Renovation】Exclusively enjoy Onsen in a private open-air bath attached to your room.

"Hotel Shiroyama" offers a variety of guest rooms tailored to different stay scenarios, with room renovations carried out in 2023 and 2024. On the 5th and 6th floors, several room types have been renewed, including "Japanese-Modern Japanese-Western Room with Open-Air Bath," "Japanese-Modern Twin with Open-Air Bath," and "Japanese-Modern Japanese-Western Room with Shower Booth." The special rooms, the 5th-floor Japanese-Modern Japanese-Western Room with Open-Air Bath [Mizuasagi] and the 6th-floor [Awabenifuji], are particularly popular. These rooms feature twin beds, Ryukyu tatami mats, and a spacious Japanese-modern design, along with a private open-air bath exclusive to the room. They are also equipped with a powder room featuring ReFa hair dryers and hair irons, as well as a coffee machine. Guests can enjoy the natural Onsen of Yugawara as much as they like, whenever they like, during their stay.
