  • This was our first stay in about two years, and it was an even better trip than before. It was my first trip with my mother, so I was worried whether she would like it, but she was truly impressed—she said the bath and the meals were unlike anything she had ever experienced. Thank you as well for the birthday gift. We would love to stay again.

  • This was my first trip to Okayama, and I stayed here for the occasion. I chose a Room with an open-air bath, and it was so spacious that it felt almost too large for two people. From the Room, we had a beautiful view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, and the open-air bath in the Room was wonderful. Of course you can’t see the bridge while soaking, but if you peek out you can enjoy the view while bathing—absolutely amazing. Since it was during the rainy season, there was some mist and the view came and went, which actually added to the experience. With all-inclusive service, it was lively before dinner with families and children around, but at night we were able to relax—enjoying alcohol, oden and snacks, and sweets at our own pace.Dinner featured a live kitchen with sushi, steak, fried items, and many beautifully presented dishes—it was hard to choose. The sushi had large pieces of fish with great richness; the rice portions were small as well, so we could enjoy plenty. The steak was tender and delicious too, though it came topped with sauce—I think it would also be great simply with salt or with wasabi soy sauce. The fried pufferfish was tasty; however, I would have been happy to see more standard tempura options like shrimp or vegetables as well. The small plated dishes were cute, but perhaps because there were many creative items (like whitebait on banana), there were a few things that were harder to try.Between the lovely spacious Room with its private open-air bath, the delicious buffet dinner, and all-inclusive service throughout our stay truly felt exceptional—thank you very much.

Notice from the Accommodation

Notice Regarding Onsen Operations
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of our Hotel.
Since drilling our Onsen in 1992, we have welcomed many guests to Washuzan Fukiage Onsen, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude.
However, due to changes in geological conditions since the end of last year, the volume of water from our source has decreased, making it difficult to secure a stable supply sufficient for continued operation as an Onsen. We also consulted a specialist drilling contractor, who advised that our location is not well suited for producing hot spring water and that even additional drilling may not ensure a reliable supply.
Accordingly, with great regret, we will end operations as an Onsen at the end of August this year. From September onward, while exploring every possible option, we plan to operate on a temporary basis as a “Honey Pearl Bath,” using products provided through the cooperation of Yamada Bee Company, Inc.
We kindly ask for your understanding and sincerely appreciate your continued support.
