The first property is a white traditional Japanese house in Hayama, just a 3-minute walk from the sea. THE HOUSE's ideal vacation concept is that even a traditional Japanese house should be white. An 80-year-old traditional house has been transformed into a vacation home, designed to resemble a house in the South of France. Even if you can't see the sea from your Room, the vacation begins the moment you step inside. Whether you're in the Room or walking the path leading to the sea, you'll experience delightful and enchanting moments. The ":" in "D:E" represents the mark between the hours of 00:00. Our accommodation is a Vacation Rental, not a Hotel or Ryokan. As the entire facility is rented out, after explaining the room during check-in, there will be no concierge or similar services available. If you are looking for hotel-like services, we kindly ask you to refrain from making a reservation. Please make sure to read the FAQ URL provided in the email sent after completing your reservation for details on amenities and facility information.


Due to our location near the sea, we conduct regular maintenance against salt damage; however, in cases of strong winds, heavy rain, typhoons, or other disasters causing facility issues, immediate restoration may not always be possible. In such cases, we may have to cancel your reservation. We will provide guidance on other accommodations within our group or nearby facilities or request that you change your reservation date. Unlike general hotels, there are no alternative rooms available at this property.
Please note that we cannot compensate for damages caused by force majeure events that render the facility unusable.


The road width is extremely narrow and just manageable with side mirrors extended on a Mercedes G-Class vehicle. Please only come by car if this condition is acceptable to you.

  • Regarding the narrow access road and parking at the Facility

    To reach the Facility, you will pass through one very narrow one-way road (approx. 2,250 mm wide).
    If you are concerned about driving a very large vehicle or a luxury car, please contact us in advance.

    A 2-ton truck can pass through, and even a Mercedes G-Class can make it through, so most vehicles
    can access the property.

    However, driving comfort varies by person,
    so if your vehicle is 1,800 mm wide or more, we recommend parking at a nearby paid coin parking lot.
    Our on-site parking can accommodate up to two standard cars,
    but only one large vehicle.

  • If you would like a Multiple Night Stay of 5 nights or more, please let us know in advance.

    Our Facility often receives requests for long Multiple Night Stays.
    Depending on the number of nights, we may be able to discuss rates in advance, so please feel free to contact us. There are many supermarkets, drugstores, convenience stores, as well as restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Commuting to Tokyo is also convenient—about 10–15 minutes by bus or taxi to Zushi Station.
