    The comfort of falling asleep while gazing at the stars. The bed sheets also felt like towels and were very pleasant.Since it’s in the mountains, I wasn’t expecting much from the meals, but everything was delicious.All of the male staff who served us were friendly, and their smiles were wonderful.It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in a different season.

    I stayed here during the autumn foliage season last year, and this was my second stay, also as a summer getaway. All of the staff were very kind, and it became a wonderful memory. The meals were delicious, and I was completely satisfied. Thank you for showing me around the neighborhood by tuk-tuk in the morning! If I have the chance, I would love to visit again.

    We are pleased to announce that we will begin accepting Reservations for the 2026–2027 Winter Plan.
    In Shiga Kogen, wrapped in powdery snow, surrender yourself to our milky-white, free-flowing natural hot spring water—an indulgent moment we are delighted to offer again this year. In the quiet at an elevation of 1,350 meters, unwind slowly as white steam rises and melts away everyday fatigue.

    Rooms tend to fill quickly around the year-end and New Year holidays and during peak snow season (January and February). We recommend making your Reservation early, especially for long weekends and weekends.

    Keikoku no Yu’s white Onsen is a gentle mildly alkaline simple sulfur spring. After bathing, your skin feels moisturized and smooth, and our open-air bath with snowy views offers a uniquely winter escape from the everyday.
    For a trip with someone special, New Year’s with family, or a well-deserved treat for yourself—please take your time and enjoy true relaxation in Shiga Kogen’s white Onsen.

  • Notice of the Introduction of the Accommodation Tax

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of “Shiga Kogen Shirai Onsen Keikoku no Yu.”

    Nagano Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax for Accommodations located within the prefecture, applicable to stays from June 1, 2026 onward.

    From June 2026, in accordance with the Nagano Prefecture Accommodation Tax Ordinance, the Accommodation Tax will be charged separately from the Accommodation Fee.
    For Accommodation Fees of JPY 6,000 or more: JPY 200 (per person per night)
