■Kurobe View Hotel: Our COVID-19 Measures■ To ensure our guests can stay with peace of mind, we have implemented infection prevention measures in accordance with the “COVID-19 Response Guidelines for Accommodations.” We are doing everything possible, including staff health management and enhanced hygiene measures throughout the building, to help you enjoy a safe and comfortable stay. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. [Requests to Guests Upon Arrival] - If you have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or fatigue before visiting, please inform us and refrain from coming. - If you have any of the above symptoms upon arrival, we may ask you to refrain from staying. - Temperature checks are conducted before entry. - A health check will be conducted at check-in. - For the time being, please wear a mask when moving around inside the Hotel. - Please cooperate with alcohol sanitization at check-in and before meals. [Facility Hygiene Measures] - Alcohol sanitizer stations installed throughout (entrance, elevators, karaoke room(s), dining venue(s), etc.) - Alcohol sanitizer provided in all guest Rooms - Disinfectant sprayers installed (entrance, large public bath changing area(s), etc.; used during times when guests are not present) - Creation and implementation of a “hygienic disinfection cleaning” manual for guest Rooms - Regular disinfection and ventilation in the large public bath - Alcohol sanitizer provided on Shuttle Service buses - Thorough food safety and Facility hygiene management in kitchens - Thorough disinfection cleaning of chairs and tables in dining venues - Regular ventilation in shared spaces to prevent crowding [Health Management Measures] - Daily temperature checks and condition monitoring for employees (recorded) - Thorough hand sanitization before entering the building when reporting to work - Thorough gargling and handwashing during work hours - Gloves worn during cleaning duties - Strict compliance with employee infection-prevention guidelines - Requesting all suppliers to wear masks and gloves [Measures to Prevent Crowding (“Three Cs”)] - Protective splash guards installed at the front counter - Coin trays used for cash transactions - Advance card payment / cashless payment recommended where possible - Guidance provided to avoid crowding during check-in/check-out - Staff wear gloves and masks when serving meals - Table layouts adjusted / seating reduced for social distancing - Venue entrances kept open for ventilation - Meal times operated by complete Reservation only; number of guests limited Seating arranged with as much spacing as possible during banquets Karaoke use during banquets will be restricted for the time being Breakfast will be served as a set menu for the time being When buffet service is offered, dishes will be portioned onto small plates by staff Futon bedding setup service is suspended for the time being. Bedding will be prepared in advance in your Room. Amenities have been changed to disposable items. The ramen corner is closed temporarily to avoid close contact. All staff wear masks at all times. Guests are encouraged to sanitize hands with alcohol before using elevators. When using elevators, we ask that you refrain from conversation and limit occupancy to avoid crowding (“Three Cs”). During Shuttle Service operations, we ventilate vehicles and limit passenger numbers to prevent crowding. The area around our Hotel offers beautiful views of Japan’s Northern Alps along with fresh air—perfect for a comfortable stay. Nagano Prefecture features many sightseeing destinations where you can enjoy nature through every season—including (of course) access related attractions such as the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.
